- In today’s video I was mad and punched the wall! How to repair hole in wall tutorial. In this How to fix a hole in the wall video I’ll show you my step-by-step process with a super easy way to patch a small drywall hole. I’ll be using a metal mesh Drywall patch, all-purpose joint compound a 6 inch and 12 inch drywall taping knife 14 inch drywall mud pan. Also, since this wall has a knockdown texture I’ll also give a preview of our upcoming video how to match knockdown texture on a repair using the knockdown texture sponge by the texture master. Cpt. Fishy I was lying in bed on my side facing the wall and I realized I was late to a party and sat up really quickly, but I ended up hitting my head REALLY hard on the wall in the process smh I’m so dumb lol

For me I was trying to get something on the top shelf. My dumb self thought that the best way to get something without falling was to use the shelves beneath to balance myself on a “stable” platform although there was an entire table right next to it that was a lot more stable. In the end when I tried to get something, the bottom shelf broke making the screws come out of the wall. Now there are three holes in my wall and one screw that managed to stay in place.

I did last night and when you suffer from ptsd and depression and anxiety you get frustrated and mad and wanna hit something and the wall is the closets think and it relieves the stress but I need to fix this hole.

Just bought a home in October and I’m starting room by room… discovered the previous owners covered all the original walls in paneling which left behind nasty adhesive and hidden holes. @@PaulPeck We got all of the glue scraped and sanded off smooth. But, I am wondering if because the adhesive was applied in a “squiggle” pattern up and down the wall if I can go right in with skim coats? Instead of a patching method

My 11 year old son punched a hole in the basement wall 2 days ago, he was spanked and grounded now he’s learning how to fix it, paying for the materials himself. I told him our home is our safe place, he’s the man of the house, him and I are the protectors of our home. He apologized promised never to do it again. Thinking of investing in a punching bag and booked an appointment with my counselor for us both to start seeing her 🙈 man I never thought it’d be like this but we’re a team and gonna get through all obstacles. This is the reason why I'm watching this video!! But after 3 holes to fix, I learned my lesson!!
I did this once (doorknob strike, not fist) by taking a flat bit of thin wood for backing, nailing it in behind the hole, putting a similar sized chunk of drywall on that, and compounding the gaps, with a layer over the whole thing. Nice and flat.
This looks like you'd have a bit of a bump no matter what you do since the patch goes over the top of the hole?
