I don't think enough people do this im thinking about getting an 18 up manual car and going 456 then ported cj and cams, headers and free flowing exhaust. The gearing is similar to the old trans pre coyote pre mt82. The mt82 11-17 actually has really badass gearing for an na coyote. It changed people's mindsets makes them think 373 is aggressive and steep and "plenty" of gear for all applications and that is not true. The 18 up manual cars need to have the same mindset about gears the old pre terminator na 4v cars back in the day had don't fear the gear that is where that statement first originated. I shake my head when I see guys go 373 in a 96-98 cobra that is na it is a waste. Stock 327 was garbage on those cars and 373 aint much better. You need 456 if na and 410-430 when boosted depending on power level etc. You need similar gearing on the new mt82. 4.09 prob isn't enough although its way better than stock. I would go 456 if na and 4.09 or so if supercharged on an 18 up manual. The long ass gearing really hurt those cars. On the contrary the 10r80 got wicked gearing which is responsible for the large performance difference between the two. I beleive a manual car with 456 gears a tire and the driver mod could really give a 10r80 car fits in a drag race with similar mods. Maybe not beat it but the difference wouldn't be thst much...the gearing advantage is what gives the 10r its big performance advantage. That is assuming you compare it to someone who can actually drive the manual car. If you suck at driving then the difference is obviously gonna be even greater. Not enough people understand the gearing difference between. 11-17 and 18 up manual cars. I wanna see a fully modded manual car with ported cj and cams 8000+ rpm and 4.56 out back with a 28+ inch tire. I think one could get well into the 10s without going crazy with weight reduction. You could have a manual car that is putting it down with a driver behind the wheel.

Hey Alex, On the Pc building thing currently the market like everything else is super over priced and actually hard to get some of the items, Not going to lie right now you'd be better off picking up an alienware from best buy . Not sure how tech savy you are but anything with current 11 series intel or ryzen 5xxxx series cpu and a Rtx 3xxxx's Gpu with enough storage will get you for quite some time.

Funnily enough, my car had horrible idle and stalling when it was tuned by Dakota, also said it was the steeda intake until alex confirmed it was VCT Solenoid related.

The 10r80 is almost like having a cheat code playing a video game. It works so well with a high revving coyote it's just ridiculous. That is how these 10r80 cars go so fast the gearing advantage they have is just insane. It doesn't work as well for the camaro which is why their 10 speed cars didn't get the performance increases they expected in the beginning. However once you have heads and big cam and bigtime top end power the 10 speed works much much better with the lt1. That is why it works so well with the coyote the gearing keeps rpm high gives them a huge gains in average power throughout the run when compared to an equal modded mt82 car. Its not even fair really and it isn't even anything to do with the shifting but most 10 speed fanboys think the shifting is why their car is quicker lol. Its all about the gearing.

My fox body made 500hp and ran similar numbers. 10.49 @130. It weighed 3200 with me in it. That Gen3 must have serious weight reduction.
