One last but sendoff before a scorching summer! Are spring snowstorms like these common?
Haha. Yeah, each Spring we usually get one last decent storm.
"Spring time in New Zealand" .... yea right! Looks like winter to me!!! Bringing some extra warm clothes... and shorts... just in case.... 😉

I’m not really feeling very motivated right now, just back from Skye and heart just wasn’t in it, but this helps, really does x
Sorry to hear. Happens from time to time. Nothing wrong with that. Good to keep getting out there, with or without the camera. Then the inspiration will arise at the right time.

Hey mate, hope you don't mind me asking. What do you mount your GoPro on? Looks like it rotates. Or is it just that stock-standard 'GoPro Handler'? Cheers and look forward to your next vid👌
Thanks a lot mate. GoPro is just mounted on my hand with the standard handle. Has a nice 180 degree rotation, maybe more if I’m feeling flexible 😅
@@WilliamPatinoPhotography hahaha thanks, matey. I was wondering about the rotation. Bloody good range!
Stunning conditions and beautiful images by all of you! Looks like it was an experience to remember.

Beautiful landscape. Well done. It reminded me when I lived in Canada.
Thanks mate. It reminded me of Canada too!
Hey Will! I love your work. Would you consider doing a “minimalist” video where you take a photograph that needs little to no editing required? As an experienced bird photographer, I am very familiar with the time needed in post processing sometimes to make the image pop more. As I have perfected my craft, I need less and less of it as long as I do my part.
My issue with landscape photography is the daunting task of the editing for which you almost have to play chess with the scene and look at the drab image and imagine how beautiful it will be later on once you are home and processed it. So I’m wondering if you can do a minimal edit capture that requires very little edit processing or editing that would draw in those new to landscapes more without all the editing involved after. I admit I just need to get used to the post processing part of landscapes now that I am considering not using filters, but maybe there are some tactics that can be used to do as little edits as possible? Sorry rambling but it’s something I bet others would like to see too!! Thanks!
Hey mate! Thanks for supporting the channel. I hear ya. I’ve got some videos where the image/edit was incredibly simple. The first one in this video is a great example. I’ve found that if I don’t have some insights and showcase something that requires work, the videos don’t perform as well unfortunately. People want to see someone do something beyond what they could/might do, to some degree. Honestly most of my processing can be done in about 2-3 minutes. I don’t use filters either.
@@WilliamPatinoPhotography thanks Will!! I can imagine the more you edit the faster it is for you too. I love your work and the fact that you don’t use a tripod was really amazing to see and changes things for me a lot. I’ll look at your editing videos again so maybe I can streamline the process more for me. I think it’s just also having the foresight knowing that the shadows will brighten and what your eye sees will be the final product. It’s SOO different with landscapes versus my birds. If my bird image is done correctly it’s great, blurred background and colors just need minor popping. But landscapes can be such a dark mess in camera sometimes but I’m learning to see it a few steps ahead with your guidance. Thanks again for all the great work!!
Super 📷👍😀👋
Thank you 👍
