Bonneville is a large hydro dam here in Oregon. Just thought I’d let ya know! This really is a great IEM, I’ve had it for about a month now. The fit is closer to a CIEM then a universal.
In utah we had lake bonneville which was huge in scale. The current sale lake is 1% of the original mass. We have hiking trails several thousand feet in elevation above the canyon floor called the bonneville trail. This is where the lake’s shoreline rested for a few thousand years and carved away portions of the Mountains from the shoreline.
Pentaconn Coreir Brass tips are just different. They're definitely top tier. I hope they come up with different metals for them such as steel and see how they change the sound.
I just recently purchased the Supermoon and love them. I have found the foam tips on both the Supermoon and the Dorado 2020 to work best for me. They are the only iems in my collection that I use the stock foam tips on.
Thanks for this video Sajid. I tried the Bonneville at my local HiFi store and it sounded amazing to my ears! Punch and slam was great, as was bass extension. This is one IEM I would like to explore further in the near future. For all you know, it might just become my 'end game IEM'. But then again, in this hobby, is anything ever really 'endgame'!? 😄 I guess the only 'end-game' in this hobby is when your bank balance reaches zero. 😂 Cheers from Mumbai, India!
Yeah these are extremely tip dependent and can sound really bloated, narrow, or harsh with most tips; would recommend Clarions, Type E Clears, or CP145s. (also btw when disconnecting MMCX cables just stick the nails of your thumbs under either side and push; your mind will be blown)
Had a demo of these yesterday. Blew me away on how tonally pleasing while at the same time delivering flagship sound at north of 2K IEMs, I think this easily outresolves the U12T seriously
Thank you for this review! I like how you described how to tell good macro and micro dynamics. Could you do a video dedicated to this for other technicalities and frequencies(iems especially)? Are these the same for headphones too(ignore headphones of you can only do iems)? You have ears that have listened to a wide variety of kilobuck iems and id be interested your insights! Thank you for your contribution to this hobby and happy new year!
There is no answer imo. It’s not about money but how it matches your setup. Trial and error. Could be $200 or $2000… or more. I find when using a neutral source like Hugo 2, the stock cables usually sound pretty good in terms of balance. A dongle like RU6 suits a bassier cable. Too many variables.
CEMA make some amazing cables my favorite by far is the CS Series. Best sounding cable I have tried, black background with deep bass extension. 8-core version with the blue-ish hue looks marvelous as well.
The casing too pink for me at least the gf will love them I'm getting mine soon lucky there's the black version available 😂 because the pink is just so girly for me i wouldn't wear it outside

@@aceofspades6667 Congrats to you and Utah! Haha JK. There’s no possible chance that there is multiple places with the name of Bonneville!
Also it’s pronounced bon-eh-vil
@@aceryn2341 Thanks for the info! How could you tell from text, that someone was pronouncing Bonneville incorrectly?

Thanks for the review. These have been on my mind for months. The craftsmanship and design are hard to argue with at the price

👍🏻👍🏻

Great to hear!
That CEMA cable is looking SLEEK with the Bonneville!
I think so too!
You said that you prefer this iem to the ie 900. How would you compare it tonality to the ie600?
Hi, sorry but you didn't post a link to the cable. Where can I purchase it? THANKS!!
do you think these are "different" enough from andromeda 2019 to buy?

Thanks for the tip
Thanks for your reviews! Do you have any plans to try the Canpur CP622B? HBB did a recent review and ranked it #1.
I have them too .Amazing sound, but am curios about emerald sea and black star do you have possibility to compare them with bonneville?
Plan to!

слишком задвинута середина и цена приближается к UM MEST MK3 который имхо выше уровнем
боневиль не далеко от блек стара ушел по звуку
Can you provide a link to the cable and tips?
If one has 1400,- burning in pocket. Would you buy these or the Sennheiser Ie900?
The Bonneville 10 outta 10 times, they really are that great!
Go with IE900 and Sony WM1ZM2
Very good synergy especially with EQ
If you want a proper V shaped sound then ie900 otherwise Bonneville
How does it compare to Solaris OG?
I want to do that comparison!
Where do you source your brass tips? They're so hard to find in stock for MSRP (not scalped at 70$ to 100$)
Hearing Bonneville brings images me of the Buick Bonneville, my uncultured self doesn't know any chocolates of that name.
Really great review, would love to try these out I love the look too

Great suggestion! Thank you.
Great RUclips channel and please what ratio does one spend on iem cables as such $300 iem with $100 cable

Cables don't make a difference and they don't "scale". It's purely audio jewelry. Don't trust salesmen.
Ahh, the duality of man.
They look quite fun!
