Thanks for this review! They sound great, but I hate that free floating fit feeling so I’m going to skip this. I did get the Nova and it fits me really well. I do sometimes EQ to the Hexa though...
I got 2 question: - Does the vocal texturing gets close to sth like Blessing3/Dusk? - Is the treble quality comparable to the Blessing line up? (B2 B3 and anything relevant is good)
Chopin does mid bass very well but keeps me desiring for more subbass. It's treble has noticeable BA timbre compared to Blessing2 or the pula02. Because of the grainy treble I ended up preferring the B2 with EQ, in that config the B2 sounded more high res. Unfortunately the B2 is too chunky and the nozzle has grip issues with eartips despite having the curves in the right place. Chopin nozzle is large and long with an angle not so perfect, without my favorite ear tips I could not use them for long period of time without having side ear pain. Tuning wise the Chopin has the best overall frequencies balance wwith its harman approach but lacks the extra control in the treble to sound smooth.
@@SuperReview Sorry but where is it? I didn't see any vid at all. Also given the same price, would you pick the chopin or the Aful P5? Or should I save my money and get the nova instead (considering clarity and details)?
Tested the Chopin for circa a week. It was disappointing and over-priced. The low frequencies are underwhelming for 808s, 909s, drum kits or bassist's lile Robbie Shakesspeare, John Entwhistlel etc. Tone and timbre appreated womky and lacking natural density. The piano kazz from Cameron Graves was a massive step down from the Meteor. Vocals from Bobby Womack "Pieces" LP or Leroy Hutson's "Hutson" were too forward amd exhibited shout.

@@SuperReview thank you for taking the time to respond. I was expecting that answer, especially about the tuning. Would it be too daring to ask vs S8, where the tuning is more similar, but of course the price gap is so big?
so compared to the hexa, you previously cited the SIMGOT EM6L as having better stereo separation (or wideness / 3d / being more like the sounds are coming from outside of the head, more like headphones). so the commentary i found missing here in the review was this comparison stereo or air-iness aspect. (relative to those other 2, and the dusk, but i am probably confusing between my terms here). but you have sound stage front-back (in front of you, which can be a bit of a reberb thing). then there is the inside-outside of the head. and the lateral wideness. all phsycoacoustics things

I am not a stage performer, but I would think the #1 factor to consider is fit stability -- I'd want something stable that I don't have to re-position mid performance. Honestly that would take priority over things like instrument separation, which seems pretty pedantic in that use case. Quintet fit stability is good, Chopin is mid, and EA 1000 is weak. it is not sho-pahn to begin with. the French "in" is pronounced with a nasalized "eh" as in "head", not a nasalized "ah".
You liked it better than B2D - how about vs B2OG?
I prefer the tuning of original Blessing, but they do different things.
I think stereo width on the Chopin is average, but depth is better than average, and overall imaging definition is quite good.
@@SuperReviewso imagining and details lot better than Aria atleast right?
Eh its a harman
But *warm*
Alright, I haven't even finished the video, but it's on its way 🎉 Thanks again Mark for spending my money 🤑
Forgive me!
@@SuperReview Never! But actually: Always! At least it gives me something to look forward to while I deal with COVID 😞
Woof, sorry to hear. I'm just getting over something I caught while traveling to the East Coast. No fun, but there is an end.
Timmy has a winner here. Happy for him
I'm really curious to hear Binary Acoustics' other stuff. Saw only one other on Squiglink, it looks... like it could use work. aftersound.squig.link/?share=BINARYACOUSTIC_VOID
It's meh
I'm really disappointed with this iem. Couldn't feel this is better than truthear zero og.
What were the downsides for you?
@@John.Christopher female vocal and some instruments sound weird. Seems like it's due to lack of upper mid range. It's just a little bit more clear truthear zero og.
@@Yon_Germ "lack of upper mid range", said to a clearly harman-like tuning. I guess your choices are quite limited then; zero OG, the nova, and the variations. not many else.
@@haomingli6175 you've listed my favorites
I’m with you on the Hexa. I’m with you on the HD600, and I’m with you on Ghostly Kisses Lydian (that one I just discovered from this video). I’m SURE I’ll be with you on the Chopin…. Eventually.
🤙
Blessing 3 or Chopin?
Both have different strengths. Chopin has broader appeal, B3 more of a midrange specialist.
B3 has much better fit.
Hello sir i really admire yiur detailed reviews . Its intrucate and very informative. I am a vocalist from india . I perform on stage regularly . What would be ideal iem for stafe performance as a vocalist ? Thanks .looking forward to your reply .good day
Moondrop Blessing 2 or 3 perhaps.
@@SuperReview thanks a lot sir . I would look into those . I have also shortlisted a few pls do suggest in choosing amongst hidizs mp 145, kiwi ears quintet ,giz audio chopin and simgot ea 1000 . From the stage performance point of view I am looking at choosing something that brings out the maximum details and instrument separation. Thanks again in advance .
Haven't tried the Hidizs.
@@SuperReview thanks a lot for your prompt reply and suggestion 😊cheers .good day
Iam really excited about Your review of Chopin❗️Thank you BTW just listening to my Timeless just on Hiby FC4 … the slam is sooo satisfying hard to say how many versions of Timeless is out there😊🙋♂️
I would love to see more measurements with different tips, especially foam tips to compare them to regular silicone tips.
Oh dear... considering that my preferences are mighty close to yours, it does look like I might have to buy another IEM. Especially at the price. Thanks, Super... 😒
🤣
I take no responsibility for your actions.
@@SuperReview Absolutely. A comment in jest only. I'm responsible for my actions.
If you listen to Ghostly Kisses, tho, I am responsible for that.
Bro don't waste ur money and buy something better.
@@nizukaid3389 👍🏻 I've got several IEMs I like already. This is something that could be a little different still vs what I have.

Do they make a wired/wireless version?
Galileo was awful. It lacks of emotion, coherency. The first and the last collab I will want to hear from Timy "every tumbnail in my channel must have a crown" Vangtan.
