I'd like to ask the time stamps referring from 0:40 to 0:48 , you have applied the perpendicular method, how would I know how many mm I should set my compass to, to get the measurements between the 60 and the blue lined bisect? Or even how many mm should be used to get the measurement for the two lines bisected? Thank you, much appreciated!
There is no specific measurement for those 2 arcs. You can set them to any measurement, as long as it sections both your given side and extended line. Importantly, you have to use the same measurement to ensure the 2 arcs are the same distance from A.
