@@FreezeSoloPerhaps not. Remember without the injury David Robinson was actually better than Duncan. And if the Spurs in 1999 were as good as the 1995 Spurs team that had the best record in the league and was an MVP year for Robinson, I think they still win that 1999 championship. People forget how good pre-injury Robinson was.
Spurs that year were toast without David Robinson but that 1 awful season ended up being worth it since it lead to 19 years of Tim Duncan.
Yeah; Robinson wouldn't have gotten those rings without that injury.

@@FreezeSolo Individuals don't win championships in basketball. Teams do. It's a _team_ accomplishment.
It was an all time outlier year
62 wins in 1995
59 wins in 1996
THIS
57 wins in 1998
This is real basketball...nowadays nba is sucks
Agree. Nowadays All positions 1-5 just standing around doing nothing waiting to shoot a three
@@analiysanchez9949 Ask yourself, when was the last time you saw a crowd shouting: "Defense! Defense!"
@@marceloxavier9113 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Back then it was kinda boring seeing nobody bothering to shoot any 3’s at all
Was that good defense or bad offense?
Forgot Dominique Wilkins played for the spurs
I had no clue. He still looked awesome too!
Games in football stadiums, real defense, and real basketball! I miss the old NBA, nowadays it's horrible.
