- Training for any policing institution, remains a priority if one is to expect efficiency. Our Metro Police College is certified and accredited on so many different levels, it is quickly becoming the flagship for South Africa's training of the safety and security sector.
As the industry has changed, as the roles of municipal officers in the policing sector has evolved, our College has always stayed at the forefront, ensuring our staff are always equipped with the knowledge and skills.
Heading up the training at the Police College is Director Bradley Lackay, who himself has over 23 years of experience in the policing sector. His passion for excellence has ensured our brave members on the ground are ready for any situation that comes their way.
Great training. I recommend to review door set up and entry drills. I used these drills during my 1984 SAPS reaction training. Old and out dated.
I picked that up as well. And we are under resourced I think by now we should have had a few equipment that enables such breaches to be quick and safe
Nice use of Carbines and clearing!🎉 Bring more of this to the eastern side of SA please!!!
Looking sharp, good job! I really don’t agree with taking a knee while crossing the threshold 0:07
It looks great but the tactics are challenging,,,
When units move, they should always move AS A TEAM.
Well done JP.
City of Cape Town better is off with dissolving SAPS in the province and creating its own police force. Take the best of SAPS and deploy them into a provisional Police Squad. Give Bheki Cele the rotten apples. We see too many or should I say too little SAPS officers on the streets that do not know how to interact with the communities they in because there is a language/cultural barrier. (lack basic communication skills) The poorer communities deserve to get more and to feel safe, currently SAPS are not trusted because they do not know how to build relationships of trust that eventually will lead to better intelligence to fight crime.
they tried recently, they were told no by cyril. so now we stuck with saps for now
How can I apply?
Required documents?
I always thought deploying someone from say Limpopo to eastern cape is silly because the language barrier is crazy.
Lol people from cape Town think they aren't part of SA. Just cause you see a couple of officers doing drills you think they should have their own police force
@@dailyrandom3949 I have long forgiven them because they suffer too much from Stockholm Syndrome. The Western Cape is ignoring their people in the Townships and its always been like that.
Good day sir it will be an honor for to serve my country
Where can I sign up?
Where is this training facility
Freeze frame at 12 sec. Whats wrong with that picture? The rear guy cant see any of his team mates whatsoever as he stopped too short, he cant have any situational awareness of what's happening behind the wall, or even when to follow his team forward as he has no clue what's happening out of his sight of vision . Also not protecting against any the rear threats. Thus is pretty much 100% useless at that point and in the direction he is facing . He's be of much better use getting past the end of dividing wall, then carefully check left, then staying out of line of possible fire quickly position himself still on this side of the dividing wall but now with his back against the wall on right of screen, facing same direction as his team mates. This way he cam have situational awareness so he can also check the rear and see his team mates.
Mind the windows.
