Almost feels like this level was built in 1.0, but the things around it aged into the current modern creating landscape, so now you travel through this old city’s entrails in a modernistic light.
There's so many things I like about this level... the background is kept the same through the whole level which makes you feel like there is no escape, at 0:49 when the rainy part comes along the only thing that illuminates the city for a split second is the lightning strike, the speed never changing, the level falling apart right behind you like you're always running away from a crumbling society, it always feels dusty and it feels like something is missing from the world... they nailed the atmosphere on this level.
This level is nice, some of the gameplay deco and the colors match well with the background. And i like how it starts storming at 0:45 it fells like a stormy blizzard trying to distract you. And also this mechanical part is fire at 1:16 it has a dull light structure as well. Cant wait to see it on the extreme demon list.

While I personally don't like the first part (it might look good, but all that I see there is object spam), every other part looks AMAZING. The storm and the lightning in the distance give a great feel to this part, I love how the maze connects the yellow and gray color schemes, and the spider really reminds me of the decorated parts of Return 0.
I like almost everything about this so far I loved the decoration of the first part ngl. The blend effect into the grey scale part was so well executed The only part i wasnt too happy with was the stormfly robot mountain part. I feel like some different coloured, or maybe a more brighter green lighting or glow could make it wayy better and notorious. Cuz it kinda feels overshadowed due to all the effects in the background
