- At first- i am confused- LOONA has "legs" or "arms" ??? Let me know what you think in comments.
Common problem with the first version of the LOONA the PetBot (was packed in paper shiny white box) was fragile gears construction and too agile toy. The plastic construction repair was shown in previous video. Now the repair was serious. The only way, i decided, was to change both - the motor and reduction gear together (N30 12v 200 rpm, but i've replaced both to 150 rpm, to slow down the Loona).
With a little imagination and innovation of the construction, LOONA again plays and runs about.
And now i know what and how to repair !
The updated version of LOONA second edition now is packed in soft gray polyester box.
I have purchased Loona twice for my daughter and still having problems. Numerous quality issues with soft-soldering joins and no avoidance for stairs or steps like with Rumba vacuum cleaners

Hello! I have a question: Why did you drill the small hole and then slide the white gear onto the motor?
Hi. If I understood the question correctly - a small hole is needed to fix the white gear in its place using a pin. The original has a thread and a nut for this. The white gear must be as close as possible to the motor and not move up ! due to its conus shape. Good luck. Glue is not a decission, because of high power.
Is your replacement Loona motor still working
