Just messing with you.
Good tip 👌🏾 👍🏾
@@Abdur_Rahman_S.And not very far, 2 steps. Why do I want Mrs. Pam to take a few more steps so I can believe she really travelled somewhere to get us the answer(s).
Your viewers Crack me up! Lol I have to say I adore you, Ms. Pam, and I had NO idea that those spatulas came apart for cleaning! You're always teaching us old dogs new tricks!!! 😂🎉❤😊
I had no idea these come apart! 😲 I need to check all of mine right now! Thanks Pam!
@lindaseel9986 😂 I went to check mine. Time to buy new ones. Lol
That’s why I only buy rubber spatulas that are all one piece… not in 2 parts like these. Deal breaker!! 👍🏻😁
Same!
LEARN something new didn't know they pulled apart but I don't have them.
I DIDN'T KNOW THAT 😲 Thank you Ms. Pam 💐
@@michie666 common sense didn’t go well for you?
Yes!!! I always pull my apart & let them air out before replacing tops to the stems.❤
@@sheilahtaylor3005 yup
She is absolutely genius!!! Love her!!!
You didn't know❓️😳
Buy the ones that are molded out of one solid piece that’s not joined, and dosent come apart. No place for anything to hide.
My response when she took it apart, "Oh dang!"
You mean to tell me that over 75 somewhat years, I didn't know that! Hmmmmm! In a 40 years, guys' voice, (Dustin Hadley) Learning so much from the two of. Love you both greatly! 💓
@mariamercy7317 I definitely heard his voice in my head when I read this comment. 😂
@whitneyhayes3225 Haaaaa, I cracked up laughing by your comment. 🤣 🤣🤣 Isn't that something how some things can stick to our brain? Just like seeing a coffee commercial on TV, we can smell the aroma and run 🏃♀️ to grab a cup. 😁 Have a blessed day.
Pam I just love you to death. You have the kindest sweetest soft voice I have ever heard. Your tips have helped me so much. Thank you for all that you do ❤❤❤
I'm surprised at the number of people who didn't know that. But, then again, most ppl do use a dishwasher to clean their dishes rather than hand wash them nowadays. Because the spatula comes apart whenever I've washed mine.
I’m TOTALLY a hand washer. I use my dishwasher as a drying rack 😂
Drying rack? That's a GREAT idea! Thanks!@@AchieHare
No, no dishwasher for me. Higher electricity and water bills. 😅 I put them on a dish rack to drip and towel dry them.
Thank you, I really appreciate all of ur knowledge.
Also it's best to use plastic or rubber spatulas that do not come apart. In many kitchens that's a hard no.
This makes so much sense. Thanks, Pam.
I had no idea they came apart. You are amazing!!!
You are amazing!
Thanks! Didn't Know That!🎉😮
Hi Pam. I have one and will clean inside what you mentioned. Thank you for sharing. ❤. Have a Happy 4th🇺🇸
Pam, how do you clean them? Mine are full of mold, and I have tried everything. I was thinking of buying one piece spatulas instead.
@@bmcvr6202 tbh just start over with new ones 🤣 sometimes it's just not worth it
@@CanadianEmpressA wooden chopstick doesn’t really fit in mine.
Awesome tip Chef!
Shut the front and back door. I had no idea they would come apart. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Girl I had no idea. Another great kitchen hack!! Thanks
I use my straw cleaning brush to run down inside the handle hole. After they have dried up a little bit I put a Q-tip down there to really make sure I get all the gross junk out.
But how to easily DRY the inside?
She’s right, my son showed me that years back, I was about to throw it out thinking I messed it up somehow. Thank God kids are smarter than me, sometimes.
lol they are!
You are right SWEET LADY
you can never be too clean when it comes to hidden bacteria. Have a beautiful day, dear. 😊👍👍🌸
100% Truth! Miss Pam knows her stuff ❤
Pam's useful tips and her warm friendly presentation cheers me up on a grey English day.
😊 I have always wondered why my spatulas came apart. I thought they were broken and that the heat from the dishwasher broke down the glue. Then I'd throw them away or super glue the handle the the spatula. Good to know! I'm glad I came with you Mrs. Pam, so you could show me what to do. You have saved me 💰. Thank you!
I have 2, but don't like them for that reason.
Omg I never knew they came apart lol
O.my God!! 😮. Thank you so much. I didn't know that. You're a precious gem. I just pulled mine apart and saw the residue
Mrs. Pam i switched to one pieces bc my kids washed dishes and could never find the mates 🤣😅😂😭🤣😅😂😭
Already knew this one, but love that you're sharing it! ❤🎉
🤣 Amazing! It's totally amazing! I certainly didn't know that until now. 😅 Miss Brilliance, you are beyond spectacular! GOD bless!
Aaawwwww thanks Kenneth for your kind words!
I don't buy spatulas that come apart. Oxo makes great one-piece silicone spatulas.
So right, Pam. I’ve been pulling mine apart for years. Very good tip.
*Goes to kitchen to check spatulas*
WELL ILL BE!!!! 😮😮😮😮
And now they are clean😊😊😊
And here I thought I was the only one that cleaned them this way😆 Pinky finger fits in end of spatula perfectly.
What we learn alot from you you show us and give us recipe, and tips blessing.
I thought they were no more good when they came apart like that!!! Miss Pam thanks so much for sharing my goodness
I didn't know that 😮 Thank You
Yes, Mama Pam... thank you
Thanks for the tip Miss Pam! I didn't even think about it.
Thank you Pam ❤❤
Been doing this for yrs thanks Auntie Pam i love your channel ive learned so much May God keep Blessing you Love❤✨️⚘️
I did not know that they came apart that is good to know 😊
Thank you for sharing this information, I had no idea that came apart 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you for sharing the information ❤❤
Good heavens, another bit of knowledge. Thank you very much.
Yes I always take them apart. You can get bacteria all caked up in there. She’s absolutely correct.
Thanks Pam ❤I'm glad I'm teachable and eager to learn and grow with you 💕 ❤️
You are so welcome
Thanks... I thought I might be overthinking things but couldn't stand the thought that spatulas weren't sanitary if I didn't pull them apart. I'm going to share this with my sisters and tell them "take that! Miss Pam says so!!!"
Thank you for sharing your tips
I buy solid ones when I can!
I thought that my mom and myself were the only ones that do that. Yeah!!
Hey Hey there... I am one step.of ahead of you, Ms. Pam. I do this all the time!😊
Thank you for the reminder
Thanks, I never knew this and I need to do this on my job! No one ever told me and we have a health inspection coming up!
My daughter Diane does that, but when you put it in the dishwasher, you have to take the rubber spot and turn it upside down so the water can get up into the hole of the spatula and get all the crap out
Pam, how in the world do you know these things? I would have never thought of that!
Yes I always pull mine apart to clean, & let them air dry after
Yep!
How do you dry it out, though. I find water stays in there and I have to get a paper towel and toothpick to try to get the water out, for fear that will lead to mold, as well?
You could tilt it and let the water run out onto a towel or drying mat
I always do that with all of mine when whenever I use them.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Thank YOU SOOOOO much PAM❤
Pam ,I've been taking mine apart for years.By the way keep the Tips coming, Pretty Lady.😊
Thanks Pam.. didn't know❤
I Nevva knew that😮😮😮😮thank you!
I most often use spoonulas these days. 1 piece construction. 😁 However, I've been taking my 2 piece spatulas apart for decades, and just air dry them, after washing and rinsing.
Your shirt is kind of funny 😊❤
Didn’t know that!! Thanks
Thank you. Again thank you ‼️❤️‼️
Thanks for sharing Pam. I didn't know that.😊 I have 1 that came apart. I thought it was broken.😂 Have a blessed and safe 4th of July.🇺🇸 🎉 🙏💘
Happy 4th. lol that’s when I found out years ago when I thought I broke it 😂
Wow Pam, I didn’t have a clue. Thanks
Good tip. Ty
Absolutely, thanks😊
I found a one piece silicone spatula a few years ago it’s my favorite.
Good finding
Thanks for sharing
Wow! Thank you.
I do the same thing with my lids that have the rubber gasket. Sad thing is for some reason they dont always fit properly anymore or maybe i just dont get them back on there properly.
Good to know I luv stainless too
Pay attention. This is for rubber spatulas. Silicone spatulas are one piece. Don’t hurt yourself trying to pull those apart, folks. 😁
I use a brush.☺️👍🏾
Yay! I got that one right! Woo hoo! Have a Happy, safe and relaxing Independence Day weekend ❤
Good point sanitize
I like Pam 👍
I store them in pieces too
Amazing
Thank you
Ms. Pam...Does this work with the ones with the wooden handle too?
I just pulled my little wooden handled ones apart 😮
@@carmellawinecroft6391 And it went back on ok?
@@hardtimeslifelessons5677 Actually, it was 'damp wood' on the inserted part of the handle! I kept mine off to dry out completely! But yes, my new ones went right back on! I thought they were glued in or something, my bad!
@@carmellawinecroft6391 Ok. Thank you! ❤️
Gosh. Sure didn’t know they came apart! Ha!
I have always taken them apart when I wash them and I let the rubber part set in the drainer to completely dry before I put them back together.
Awesome
I would remove them..but threw them out and replaced them with knes that can't be removed 😊
Didn't know that.thank you.
Thank you so much Pam any advice on how to get rid of the odor? I've tried baking soda and vinegar and even soaking in bleach
Setting in the sun can help, also fresh lemon juice can cut odors. I'm interested to see what Pam suggests since odors are always a big kitchen issue!
👍 😁 💫 👏 😲 🤗
Ohh mann..i learn something everyday here..im getting up..going in the kitchen to ck my spatulas
What about the wooden ones, Mrs. Pam?
I checked my wooden stick w/plastic uppers...they come apart too (and black guuck is on the wooden part, urggh)
Yes I do! I know a lot people who don’t ❤
