Bro people saying K. Will not survive are crazy. He won a Pulitzer for a reason. People back in the day listen to words more than a catchy melody. K. Would have been even bigger than he is today.

I think the rap culture just changed a lot with the younger generations. These youngsters nowadays don't have high attention spans, so they just vibe off of hot, catchy singles with a good hook. They don't really care too much about songwriting and deep lyrics.

Any of these young rappers will not survive in that era, even kendrick, cole or drake will not survive in that era. They should be considered lucky that they compete in the weakest era of hiphop, all their opponents is just some random mumble/soundcloud rappers who sound the same and doesn't have their own identity.

Hardest ever? 2pac and Biggie got the bullets holes to prove otherwise.

In the sense of competition yes...in the 2pac and Biggie era it was them 2 and everyone else below them.

That was a radio single era though. You damn near had to sell out and go Pop to sell. Appeal to white and female fan bases. Pac/Big era tougher
