Also people born abroad may not have studied the scripts so they also type in the romanised way
I think the one who wrote the subtitles just tried to had a fun because majority of people here spell English words exactly the same way they are, there are a few who don't understand it well but we write it like this "Superstar" 🤣

Another reason for writing Urdu in English alphabets is to make other sub continent countries who understand listening to Urdu but can not understand the text in Urdu, like India and Bangladesh, to easily understand it

Roman Urdu is written on social media stuff where we are used to woth QWERTY Keyboard.. and Roman Urdu spellings are never the same of two people.. you can spell it the way you want untill it is pronounced the same.. Actual spellings will always be in PersioArabic script.. Secondly the language Hindi is same as Urdu so you can say that this language is written in Devnagri script as well.. One more thing this song was not just Urdu or English song.. it had Punjabi main lines as well.. "Na Rok Menu" is Punjabi.. which is again written in 2 main (PersioArabic and Girmukhi) and one roman scripts.. lol.. And I'm the one who knows all scripts of both languages.. 😂 Roman Urdu started with Keyboards and Keypads.. nowadays Urdu keyboards are very common and majority of people write Urdu in Persio Arabic srcipts even on social media.. so do i..
