All the musicians have been in the same room all along but the main singer was approaching them singularly throughout the song but in the final reveal when they remove all the fake walls it shows that they are all in fact together. Its a dual social commentary of sorts also. Also not sure if you have reviewed "Go" yet from this season but just so you know it has your man crush in it.
