I just completed the program (12/2018). I’m so glad I took the course. I wish I had known about him when I was in my 20’s I would be in a different financial situation right now. But I’m on the journey now which is good.
God seems to be a driving force in this relationship (which is wonderful!!) How do you incorporate your spirituality into your relationship? What do you do together to work forward on getting closer to Him?
This video has helped me decide I'm just not ready. I think in my 20's, 30's I was eager to live with someone have a baby get married (which I did, divorced now) but now... I feel there's literally nothing to gain from living together. At 40 I love my own space, I got out of debt, built a small emergency fund. My partner of 2 yrs lives in a flat I've been to 3 times (because he hate is its a mess etc apparently) he comes to my house daily but doesn't stay over (my choice he snores so bad which is another concern). My partner is also in debt and terrible with money which is a major turnoff but I do try to help and advise him. For hom living together would be easier and he knows I cook dinner on the daily etc. For me I feel it puts my security at risk as he recently nearly got evicted. My partner works full time but don't pay bills regularly and he said if we live together that I could manage the money - that would feel like a burden though not a blessing as I don't want to feel controlling. All of this stuff makes me view him as a liability as bad as that sounds. He is putting pressure on me though. Any thoughts????

He insists that I shouldn't worry and that he will cover the costs. I don't agree! I would like to be able to cover any expenses that may come our way and he tells me that I should let him be a man and trust him. On another not he has some digging out of the hole he has to do for himself and wont be responsible and do it. Tax debt/ garnishment and city fines. I told him he needs to respect what I am asking of him by not focusing on what he thinks i need and take care of this debt first. I have been holding myself and my child down before he was around and I feel like I can be more of a service in helping him get right after I finish school and put my degree to work but he wants to do things now... Im 36 and don't feel the need to rush the process. I have a retirement fund set up and want to roll it over into my new job as well as save some money and I want to purchase a house within the next 3 to 5 years. I don't think it is smart to take chances with money I don't personally have as of yet by playing around with my invisible number.. (Credit score) am I wrong for consistently telling him no?

Hey guys! Thanks for the vid! The only one I am struggling with is #1 ... we are on the same team. this one is hard for me because I have a ton of savings, while he is is debt. We don’t have plans to get married ... so at this stage I’m just struggling to operate as a team in the sense of actually combining our finances. Right now we split everything pretty evenly (except if we go on trips, then I pay more). We are pretty damn good team players .... we just haven’t quite gotten there with “what’s mine is yours” .... I guess I feel like until we’re married .... mine is mine and his is his .... and if the roles were revered, I wouldn’t expect him to pay off my debt. Does that make sense?! I’m totally open to feedback and coaching on this one.... cuz the differences in our money beliefs definitely causes problems right now. THANK YOU!!!! ❤️❤️❤️💯

I’m definitely Bre at the moment, but thank God He’s showing me how to get passionate over my finances, i.e having a plan about money and financial discipline. Thank y’all!
