An important thing to note, the V's represent the 3 most common traits of toxic relationships. Valentino represents abuse, Vox represents manipulation, and Velvet represents narcissism.
Another thing about Vox's jealousy: It doesn't just end with Alastor-- Angel is also someone he despises, albeit more subtly. He wasn't really invested in Valentino's drama but the moment he thought Angel had quit, he immediately brightens up KNOWING that isn't even possible (something he actually points out himself afterwards). And in Poison, while he was talking to Val and taking his hand (looking ready to kiss it), the moment he noticed Angel his smile drops and he looks annoyed, before looking back fondly at Val and disappearing. Knowing that him and Val are not only business partners with benefits, but genuinely emotionally attached to each other, it makes sense that he'd see Angel as competition the same way he does with Alastor. Vox is a fragile narcisist that always needs to be on top, to have total monopoly in every field he's in, so any person threatening that in any way is immediately despised in his eyes. Edit: Forgot to add, but the "That's like the poison you drink and hope someone else dies, but you're the one that drank it" line now lives in my head rent free, I love it. It's not only a fantastic phrase for Vox, but just in general. That's genius.
Not to mention how gleeful Val was while enabling him. "That's for sure." Vox really doesn't think he gets manipulated right back by his partners, huh?
I never even thought about that, but YES! You’re right. He did EXACTLY what he told Val not to do. That really says a lot about how vulnerable and insecure he really is.
By the way, dont worry about videos on helluva boss making less views. The animators release one episode every 1-2 months, so the community is starving for content. Plus, most hazbin hotel fans are helluva boss fans too. Its a safe gambit imo
Of course we did waited 8-9 months for the release of Season 2 Episode 1 of Helluva Boss, 3 months for Season 2 Episode 2, 5 months for Season 2 Episode 3, and now 6 months for the upcoming Season 2 Episode 8 (The Full Moon).
I think right now it’s been like 6 months since the last episode but they are teasing new episodes are dropping soon so yeah a lot of us fans are happy to see new creators making helluva boss content
@@crissyjayfae @EChacon yeah I guess you're both right, its been a while since the last episode, they're probably writing out the next season, or taking a well deserved break and let people to enjoy hazbin hotel in the meantime
One subtle little detail that actually lets on how overwhelmingly all-consuming Vox's envy of Alastor is, is his outfit. Someone else pointed this out online, but Vox's clothes are a near-total palette swap of Alastor's. That really tells me that Vox so desperately wants to be as known and feared as Alastor, that he's taken to (consciously or not) copying the very way he dresses.
@@michaelkruk Psychiatrists prescribe medication so it depends if they need drugs. And if they need drugs, I hear they have vending machines for that. lol
1. I really can't wait for your take on Valentino. 2. When I hear Alastor vs. Vox= Bugs Bunny vs. Daffy Duck 3. You have my vote of Yes for Helluva Boss.
@@stratavosstuff7575 disagree. IDK the dynamic between Lu and Al, but certainly can say it isn't Bugs and Daf dynamic. Both characters people love. Daffy is a character people love to hate.
@@emmanuelmartin7609it’s funny how fully Lucifer loses his cool faced with Alastor being too close (that is to say, within a thousand miles) of Charlie. Bugs and Daffy never fought over another character’s love, but if they had…! I think it would have been a lot like this.
Maybe not as intense as with Alastor, but there’s also some jealousy towards Angel. You can see some glee when he asks to Val if Angel quit, and near the end of Poison when he’s talking to Val he glared up to Angel you can see some disdain.
But since Angel is owned by Valentino because of his soul contract, Angel can’t quit even if he wants to. And Vox knows this because he reminded Val that Angel is still under contact and he’s not going anywhere. So I don’t get why Vox would be happy about something that he knows can’t happen. Maybe Vox was hoping that Val terminated Angel’s contract and that he doesn’t have to see Angel or hear Val’s constant complaints about Angel.
@@StarViewer68 i think it’s more annoyance and envy that Val ADORES angel so much that he would risk their entire BRAND just to prove a point to angel. You can see how upset he is that Val is upset angel is not living with them anymore… like “but… why does that matter when I’m right here?… OH SHOOT RIGHT I HAVE TO CALM HIM DOWN”
I love the idea of Vox having a one-sided crush on Alastor, confessing, and Al just laughing in his face be his motivation for hating Alastor. It would explain why he's so obsessed with Alastor while Al is so carefree during their song, and I love the concept of all that love for someone turning into bitter hate with the same intensity.
I have generally assumed that this is true. We know that Vox asked Alastor to join the Vs. There is a picture with Vox and Alastor where they appear friendly. Vox appears to be in a polyamorous relationship with the other Vs. Alastor is Ace and his usual response to propositions is “a hahaha, NO”. Based on all that I can picture how that went, I could be wrong but it would make sense with what we know.
@@Atipaj The very last one, during the Vees' portion of the finale song. If you pause and look closely at the picture of Alastor that the knife lands on, on the side it's ripped, you can see a sliver of Vox's old box TV form, implying that the photo was an amiable one they took together. (Also, the fact that they have a clear photo of Alastor *at all* with no digital interference heavily implies Alastor *let* this photo be taken, thus he was at least outwardly friendly at one point).
Cool coincidence that this came out the same day the official _Hazbin Hotel_ Instagram account gave us footage of Vox’s voice actor in the recording booth for Season 2. I say this because it turns out Vox’s VA - of _any_ of the possible voice actors - doesn’t actually have any social medias, with the true ultimate irony being that _Alastor’s_ VA *is* active on his socials and sometimes interacts with fans in-character as Alastor, a demon so opposed to modern technology he’s reluctant to even conjure up a home video camera 😂
I love how he didn’t understand the “ace in the hole” comment but he knows that expression. I’m not sure he has used any modern slang before or after that in the show. I don’t remember him doing so. 🤔
It's great to see Alastor top Vox not through strength but wit. It showcases really well what Alastor is GOOD at; his intellectual skill is what puts him 7 steps ahead of others. Not just his power.
I also wanted to mention, even though it was a smaller reaction he was clearly excited at the idea Angel may have quit. Sounds like he's jealous of Angel I assume because of Valentino being clearly obsessed with Angel and getting all of Vals attention.
I had not noticed that 🤔 I would makes sense, I had assumed that he was just frustrated with Val being an annoying mess. It must be hard for Vox to have Angel have such a hold on Val’s brain (particularly because Angel doesn’t want it)
Something cool my friend pointed out to me is that Alastor and Vox start with AV which also stands for Audio-Visual which makes sense considering Alastor is radio and Vox is TV.
Dr. Dow, when Vox was singing in the season finale, they show a torn photo of Alastor, and when you look at the torn edge, you see that Vox was happily standing by Alastor’s side. 😮
Its also funny that if you think about it alastor would have probably never bothered with vox if he never tried to take shots at him. But he saw vox insulting him and only then went on the offensive
Especially after having *just* convinced Val that to act out over Angel would show a lack of control and be bad for the brand. Vox can see the consequences for Val, but not himself.
I agree on most parts, but in my point of view there is one part missing: the true reason why Vox is jealous. I believe, it is not just competition alone. I believe, there is something more to that: Vox is a perfectionist. He says to Valentino, that their trademark is "perfection". And Alastor is the complete opposite of perfection, he is well controlled chaos. His jacket is shabby, the radio signal is outdated, all the stuff Alastor is conjuring with magic is actually shabby and cheap. But in the end, Alastor is kind of successful. And everybody - except Angel - knows the Radio Demon and his show. Charlie immediatly recognizes him at the door in the pilot. Alastor is "successful trash", he is the one who gets sympathy although everybody realizes, he is lying and cheating. Alastor has the one thing, that Vox realley craves: Acknowledgement. Vox is trying hard to be perfect. His misconception is, that everybody shares his personal love for perfection and that the more perfect he becomes, the more love and sympathy he will get. Whereas Alastor has realized, that the opposite is true: Imperfection gets more sympathy, for everybody has their flaws and minor mistakes, everybody is imperfect or feels that way, therefore imperfection makes one more relatable. Vox is missing the bravery to be imperfect, he doesn't see how imperfection really creates individuality and sympathy and he doesn't understand that by being imperfect he would gain more love, affection and attention. I can only guess, but most probably Vox had very cold and distant parents, that only showed some attention to Vox when he brought the best marks from school, was the best in anything he did, was class president or head boy, etc. So far, my two pennies. Thanks for reading!
Your guess about his parents is why it just *kills me* how little of any of the characters' human lives have been revealed to us in the show proper. I've heard so much stuff from longtime Vivzie fans from old streams or posts or whatnot of lore that may or may not even still be true anymore that haven't even gotten a breath of acknowledgment in the show and I really hope that changes in season 2.
Aww, I actually would love an analysis on Blitzø and Stolas! Luna too! They're probably the most psychologically complex character in the whole show and I'd love to see your character analysis of them
Personally I feel like the Blitzo/Stolas thing are both overrated and have been ruining the show. The whole show has turned into the Blitzo and Stolas dysfunctional relationship show. When personally I feel the episodes that focused less on that were better. I'm tired of every characters main trait being, "daddy issues". It leads to this same-ness where it feels like the writer feels like showing how traumatized a characters backstory is is the same thing as characterization, when characters should be more than just their trauma. Then nearly any character they want you to hate they just turn into a 2 dimensional bad guy like Stolas's wife, so we don't get to think about the moral ambiguity of him cheating on her by just making her purely cruel and evil. It takes away things that could have been morally complex by framing so many antagonists like this to excuse the behaviors of those characters we're suppose to sympathize with. It really shows in how they have no idea what to do with Millie since she's one of the only characters who doesn't have a traumatic backstory, and so is basically just a background character at this point.
@@sardonicus1739 that’s a valid criticism, and I’ve seen others echo the same sentiment, so you’re definitely not alone. I think a lot of people are either currently in or have been in complex relationships/ “situationships” and could be possibly drawn to that part of the story because of its relatability. Same with the trauma/daddy issues- lots of people have had those things and are able to connect with the characters because of those things. But that’s just my personal theory, at the end of the day, we all have our own likes/dislikes; and that’s a great thing. It makes things fun and versatile ☺️ 🎠🎪🎟️ Personally I think the shenanigans Alastor is up to in Hazbin is a lot more fun lol; but I love both series.
I think Vox really admires Alastor. Not romantically, but i think he sees Alastors power, control, and respect in Hell, and wants to be able to have that for himself. I think he misunderstands the source of Alastors power. He thinks it comes from his control over media, so he thinks by building his empire around TV he can surpass Al. Then it frustrates him that Alastor is still more powerful despite how radio is less common. Maybe Vox looked up to Alastor, and they may have been acquaintances at one point, but when Al rejected his offer to join the Vees, Vox started to resent him. Vox met his hero, and got let down. TLDR: Vox hates Alastor because hes jealous.
I love that little hat and how you have Vox's face on the monitor. You really think of every little detail with these cosplays. I also love how Stayed Gone realy show's Vox's insecurities. First the fact he feels he needs to prove who's better in the first place, and then how desperately he denounces Alastor before he shows up and claps back even harder. It's a fantastic sequence.
Some of you should pay for a special comment like this for invincible content in the future. Why don't i do it by my self ? Cuz im poor but i believe it would be cool (Sorry for my bad english)
I'm beginning to realize that, even though Viv obviously knows what she's doing, seeing it analyzed and organized especially from another person's perspective could be very profitable to her creative process if she ever watches the show
You know how in the song "Respectless" Velvet says that she is " The backbone of the Vee's?" I don't believe that is true. If anything, Vox is the backbone, because velvet and Valentino have explosive tendencies, and his own ability to (somewhat) quell the other's emotions.
The Vox monitor in the background was a nice touch and I love the wobbly antenna. Vox being a major antagonist next season is something I'm looking forward to, I love his rivalry with Alastor. He tried so hard to undermine Alastor but ended up just announcing his return in grand fashion. He's so desperate to be Alastor but better that he ends up making a fool of himself. I hope we get the whole backstory for the their fallout, since there's some implication that they were on good terms once.
Love that not only you’re cosplaying as Vox, but your TV/Computer Monitor has Vox’s face. Even though this is going to be your final _Hazbin Hotel_ character analysis for now, I’m Looking forward to your character Analysis for the _Helluva Boss_ characters. Still once Season 2 eventually airs, hopefully you do one on Valentino, Velvette, Sera, and Carmilla Carmine.
She’s not *quite* done with _Hazbin_ just yet - she gave a sneak peek at a Sera cosplay in her most recent short, and I’m hoping she does do the second Angel Dust video she said she wanted to do back in Niffty’s video. I also hope for a Valentino video, honestly. I think it’d be super interesting to look inside the mind of an abuser.
@@HannahBanina true but i don't think there's enough info on Val for a whole video, especially since most of his scenes were already analyzed in other videos
Can you analyse Valentino please, it's fascinating how can he be just silly dramatic mothmen in one scene and then suddenly switch to horrifying abusive monster that we all love to hate
I wonder if the issue is Vox compares his success to alastor's? Alastor was an overnight sensation who made waves and took over swiftly. Vox clearly didn't have the same experience since Alastor was still around for quite some time as an overlord and direct competition to the V's before he vanished for seven years.
Im sure there are lot of people out there who would love to see you break down the Helluva Boss characters, especially Blitzo and Fizzle characters and their relationship through the series
Vox is so manipulative. I love that his flaw is his pride and If he didn't lose it around Allister and stayed cool-headed he would be way more of a threat. Everyone's got a main sin holding them back. You do Helluva boss an I will watch it as long as I'm breathing haha. I also would like to see Invincible or Frieren: Beyond Journey's End.
This is very relevant to me. My family lives rent-free in my head, and I literally cannot shut off the cycling thoughts of trauma and anger sometimes to the point where I almost feel sick. Trying to work on that though
I had a roommate that's very reactionary, and I'm non reactionary. Though I didn't physically react to the outbursts there was still an emotional drain that eventually spiraled into depression. A rock erodes when constantly battered with waves. Though a non reactionary personality can work with a reactionary personality it's probably not a healthy relationship
As someone who ocellates between reactionary and non-reactionary depending on who I'm with and what the situation calls for- There's a limit, basically. Anything taken to extremes is toxic. Being overly reactionary or overly passive can both be bad. But if neither party is on the extreme, just leaning to one side of a true balance, they can be an excellent pair.
I think honestly Vox just feels unseen at the end of the day. Ironic considering he's the TV but nobody really *sees* him and I think that's why he is so desperate for attention and jealous when he's not getting it. Thank you for all these deep dives! I've loved them all and would also love Helluva Boss. Also if you ever go back to video games analysis I would loooove to see you tackle the mental health in FF7. It's really big in gaming right now with Rebirth being newly out and definitely my favorite game. And they ALL need therapy!
Another thing is that when the radio was popular, people would be excited for programs and the images in their mind was much more vivid while with TV, everything is viewed directly with audio so the imagination factor is essentially gone
I’ve always wanted you to do episodes of, “Helluva Boss”; the two things that I think would make interesting episodes are; - the challenges would be parents have with adoption (Blitzo and Loona) - examining/comparing a healthy romantic relationship (Moxie and Millie), to one that is toxic (Blitzo and Stolas or Stolas and Stella) - the trauma that children can go through, when their parents have an divorce (Octavia with her parents Stolas and Stella)
Another thing I noticed, both Vox and Sir Pentious have hypnosis abilities, but where Vox entirely depends on hypnosis, Sir Pentious only used as a last line of defense.
I really want to know about Vox's backstory with Alastor... And I can't wait to see yoour Helluva analysis! I just need to know about Fizz and Blitz and STolas through your eyes! ♥
In the finale song, you see for a second a picture of Alastor and Vox together. I can't tell if Vox has the big head or flat screen head but it's a black and white picture of them together. Maybe they used to be friends or business partners.
You mentioned that you’d try out some helluva boss characters to test the waters and I feel like Stolas and Blitzo would be the best first picks due to how popular they are and how deep their backstories are, also I’m so glad you did Vox! He’s such an interesting character
HelluvaBoss?! I need a Fizzaroli video PLEASE! Talk about complex emotions (to me he reads as having BPD but I'm biased because I related so HARD to him) In general, Stoles, Fizz, Luna, & Blitz will bring in views
21:15 made me drop my food and my mouth because that's been something I struggle with. Replaying situations and social interactions in my head or arguments over and over again...this really shed light on l what I need to do as a person. Just try to let it go. Maybe I need do need to go to therapy
Honestly, I think therapy can be helpful to anyone! Even if you don't end up going to regular appointments, it can help you understand yourself better and create strategies and behaviors that are more effective at working toward your goals. If you can afford it, I highly recommend giving it a try.
With how Alastor lives rent free in Vox’s head, Vox’s blue screen has mentions of Alastor all throughout the text, that he’s crashing because of an error of the ALASTOR.EXE file.
Now that you've gotten the attention of the Hazbin community, Helluva boss stuff would probably do similarly. I'd love to see you cover Blitzo and Stolas's trauma and the dynamics of their relationships.
I definitely think you’d have really great material to talk about analyzing Blitzø and Stolas’ relationship. Even going over Millie and Moxie’s relationship being the “perfect couple” but seeing some issues in Unhappy Campers s2ep5 and how they fix it. Especially right now, fans are waiting for a new episode so we are looking for Helluva Boss content.
I was wondering why parts of your cosplay was green, but then I remembered that green represented jealousy, or envy, I can't remember exactly, but it's a neat detail nonetheless. (Looked it up, can't get a conclusive answer, but envy and jealousy come up frequently, so I'm half right in my eyes.)
One thing I, as armchair psychologist, noticed is that in his song, when Vox asked where Alastor has been, he quickly answers his own question in a mocking laugh while try to get affirmation from his colleagues, Velvet and Valentino. I always see this as how threatened he is by Alastor and tells more about how much he hates that he is back.
This video was actually kind of helpful for my real life. I had a friend who would covertly bully me (say little insults, exclude me in group settings, try to limit my individuality, very unreliable). Over a couple of months these things started to get to me (especially because I had other things going on making me more vulnerable at the time). I asked them twice if they were doing ok, hoping to give them the chance to tell me if they were upset with me, but they ghosted me both times. Eventually there was an incident where I was just pushed too far and told them they had really hurt me and asked them to choose different behavior in the future. They blew up at me and told me it was wrong of me to ask them to treat me differently and spoke really condescendingly towards me and refused to apologize. This whole thing still really effects me and they kind of live in my head rent free like Alastor in Vox’s head. I try to distract myself with other things, but it just really bothers me that they never apologized. We have some mutual friends and it also kind of bothers me that this persons behavior over the course of months wasn’t a concern to them. I know I should let it go, but I just feel slighted by them and like I can’t move on without some kind of apology (which I would never ever get). I can get kinda like Vox, wishing for Alastor’s downfall, but I don’t actually want anything bad to happen to them, I just want them to say sorry.
Hey, random stranger on the internet, im not going to say I am going through the exact same stuff, but the common theme is roughly the same. Is it weird to say that it is somewhat comforting to find someone else going through the same shit? Anyways, things will get better and best luck to you. The fact you can acknowledge the situations means that you fully deserve to be who you are and that you are enough.
This video came at the perfect time. I recently had a bit of an outburst with my mom and older brother when my ex came up in conversation, almost exactly like Vox was when Valentino brought up Alastor. From my own mother and brother’s words it was honestly scary how quick I turned even though supposedly I had gotten over what happened with my ex. They told me that I should definitely talk about it with my therapist and that’s what I plan to do this week. Thanks for the introspection 🧡
I need to make something very clear. The hazboss fandom is huge and obsessed, and we will ABSOLUTELY be on board for you to get into halluva. May the public correct me if I'm wrong.
With Helluva Boss, it may be a little older but it is still currently on-going and your views may potential go up when they release "Full Moon", the next episode that much of the Fandom is hyping for.
Fellow therapist here 💕 I'm absolutely using Vox (alternatively, Alastor) as a new example of the "masterful salesperson" cognitive defusion technique within ACT! Especially with how that inner unhelpful dialogue will say "tRuSt Me..." 😵💫 I've shared this playlist with several of my clients that have analyzed Hazbin with me in session. This series is everything I'd want my psychotherapy content to be - I really hope you do continue with Helluva Boss!
Your talk about revenge reminded me of a moment from the web series RWBY where one of the side villains got revenge on the main character and after she succeeded the villain just... shut down. She just sat there staring off into space not knowing what to do with her life now. It was almost depressing.
Fascinating villain Val and his relationship with Vox😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 And with Velvet- they build such a cruel team but at private their bond so strong and Voxval are so lovely even though they’re known business. How can I think of this interesting gap psychologically???
It'sl like "Feild of Dreams", "If you make it, they will come." Helluva Boss is still an ongoing series, and fans are itching to greet new watchers and listen to their opinions. I've been waiting for your take on the characters since you are a professional
I love how Vox and Al are so similar in ways. Suit style just one blue and the other red. They dig their claws in when riled up. Both are in entertainment but rival mediums. But also the song battle, Vox displays a common criticism of the tv medium fostering a short attention span while radio is ‘slower’ and steady. He keeps interrupting Al at every step while Al allows Vox his words and then responds. They are very much two sides of the same coin.
One thing I noticed that Vox Alistor both have is the static. However, Alistor has it for most of the time, and only loses it in moments of high emotion or sincerity, while Vox GAINS static in moments of high emotion.
Especially interesting that when he's scheming about preventing a deal between Charlie and Alastor, he insults both, but punches the table when talking about Charlie and rolls his eyes at Alastor. Almost like he's more angry at the object of Al's attention than Alastor himself. 😂
Hey Georgia!❤ Love all your videos covering “Hazbin Hotel”.💫 It’s very great how you pointed out Vox’s monotony and showing how he can do great things while being an Overlord, how as ‘technology’ he has improve and upgrade, in a way trading his own way of life to entertain others. It got me thinking of how perhaps that’s why Alastor rejected Vox’s invite to working with him. Cause Alastor is…Alastor, as the Radio Demon he likes the old fashioned way and doesn’t see himself ‘upgrading’ himself like Vox does cause he’s the TV Demon, always upgrading and changing.
Either Velvette or Sera would be interesting to do next. Velvette because she actually gives hints that she’s a lot smarter than she looks. Sera because I think the guilt and contradictions of what she’s doing wears on her in a different way than it did Vaggie or even Lute.
There's been something stirring in my brain recently. There's A content creator known as Finnthepony, and he recently did some Hazbin vids that go over certain characters and theories relating to them, but that sometimes includes giving a bit too much benefit of the doubt (claiming Adam isn't evil because he's ignorant of his own behavior). Finn is very much a Charlie grade cinnamon roll (though typically a lot wiser and open to a smidge of bite), and his content is overall still very entertaining, but I did wonder about how your points with those he's covered compare and contrast
YESSSS!!! Helluva Boss on the Vox episode!!! Double whammy :D 📺 🖥 So Helluva Boss wise: Loona is the most popular algorithm wise without doubt. Themes of anger management, gothic style avoidance, and struggles with adoptive parents (and more). Millie and Moxi - Just general wholesome, lovely supportive couple vibes. Touches on themes of parental approval or disapproval. Blitzo (the one I'm most keen to see!) - Themes of promiscuity, drive for business, Butcher levels of personal character flaws with surprising depths hidden inside there. But there's so many great ones!
Vox is such a fascinating character and so fun to watch. Jealousy is a very fitting theme for him and it doesn't only show with Alastor, but Angel, too. I hope you'll do Helluva Boss. It's a fun show and there are a lot of interesting characters to explore. I bet you'll love analyzing Blitz.
I think you would really love what 'Frieren Beyond Journy's End' has to say about the nature of life and the finding value in the world around us. As well as the feelings of living longer then those you care about.
Oh gosh I just noticed how when Velvette and Valentino are ranting to him he’s just not paying attention, like looking at his cellphone while they’re taking to him
I personally think it's a little soon for the Vees since they're supposedly foing to be the primary season 2 antagonists. Although that's also going to probably be a year away.
A good idea for another show for you to do could be Tangled the Series. It’s admittedly not as new but it has some VAs from Hazbin like Jeremy Jordan. And the main set of characters have some interesting psychological stuff going on. They touch upon PTSD, Identity crisises, And even the nature of power and people in leadership
Fun Fact: The reason Alastor still had power even during a blackout is because radio waves generate electromagnetic radiation strong enough to power radio equipment - they don't need an external source of electricity. The very first radios did not require a plug in or batteries: the radio signals themselves provided the power for the devices to operate. They were weak; the range was limited and the volume was so low that you needed headphones otherwise other ambient noise would drown the sound out - but if you add more power (a signal boost) - and little goes a very long way - the range of radio is essentially limitless. For example, the space probe, Voyager 1, was launched 47 years ago and is currently 14 billion miles from Earth - but still communicates with us via radio. In this case, I would theorize that Alastor's personal power is the signal boost for his radio broadcast.
I love the hat and the antenna wiggling and shaking and vox on the monitor I'll also love if you an analysis about Carmela Carmine and Zestial friendship and relationship she's obviously trust him enough to defend him against velvet and her daughters are very comfortable around him
My brain is now going through my favorite character from bleach. His unyielding devotion leading him down the same path he chastised his friend for. In the end, revenge was self destructive.
Their back and forth is my favorite villain dynamic. Vox is completely obsessed with surpassing Alastor. He copied Alastor’s entire look. He has drones that spy on Alastor. Vox has always tried to keep himself up to date so people don’t lose interest. Meanwhile, Alastor stuck to his usual outfit, yet still managed to snag consumers away from Vox’s broadcasts. Their 1v1 has a big quality over quantity aspect. Vox had multiple news stations and shows promoting himself, yet he was still beaten by one man with 1930’s radio equipment. ‘Stayed Gone’ remains tied for my favorite song. I love the back and forth, especially Alastor’s callouts. His line of- “Instead of a clout- chasing, mediocre, video podcast” is such a golden moment.
You are amazing thank you for all the work you put into the videos and cosplay. Vox reminds me of that metaphor “the acid does more damage to the container it’s held in than the object it is poured onto.

An important thing to note, the V's represent the 3 most common traits of toxic relationships. Valentino represents abuse, Vox represents manipulation, and Velvet represents narcissism.
Was that done intentionally? It makes so much sense.
@@localvega688 Probably, Viv clearly spent a lot of time and effort planning out the series and the characters
Also they represent the 3 principal types of media that’s consumed, Vox Tv, Val movies and Vel Social media
Nice work by Viv.
But Vel definitely isn't any Adam.
Viv is the secert 4th
I think he doesn’t like angel because angel can ruin the vees image
@@AbimaelLopez-hz3qqi think it can be a mix of both
I don't think Vox cares about that? Plus, Vox doesnt care about what Angel does. @@AbimaelLopez-hz3qq
Really love how Vox did exactly what he told Val not to do.
Not to mention how gleeful Val was while enabling him. "That's for sure."
Vox really doesn't think he gets manipulated right back by his partners, huh?
Helluva? What?! Huh? 😵💫
@@crissyjayfae @EChacon yeah I guess you're both right, its been a while since the last episode, they're probably writing out the next season, or taking a well deserved break and let people to enjoy hazbin hotel in the meantime
@@astraesl9547 My guess is they're making sure the shows don't compete with each other.
They also scrape through the table the same.
Perhaps a relative trying to outdo his, eh, uncle?
Honestly, I'm shocked Vox doesn't have a cane.

1. I really can't wait for your take on Valentino.
2. When I hear Alastor vs. Vox= Bugs Bunny vs. Daffy Duck
3. You have my vote of Yes for Helluva Boss.
ok now i want to see alastor and vox battle it out in a bugs/daffy style piano duel!
Yes
Also a fun part, as much as Vox is daffy here, involving Lucifer, Alister becomes Daffy.
Vox and Val do have that whole on and off relationship.
I JUST NOTICED THIS TOO!!!
You can see how upset he is that Val is upset angel is not living with them anymore… like “but… why does that matter when I’m right here?… OH SHOOT RIGHT I HAVE TO CALM HIM DOWN”
"Angel quit?"😃
@@danapowers-green3172 where is that picture of Vox and Alastor being friendly? which episode?
@@Atipaj The very last one, during the Vees' portion of the finale song. If you pause and look closely at the picture of Alastor that the knife lands on, on the side it's ripped, you can see a sliver of Vox's old box TV form, implying that the photo was an amiable one they took together. (Also, the fact that they have a clear photo of Alastor *at all* with no digital interference heavily implies Alastor *let* this photo be taken, thus he was at least outwardly friendly at one point).
@@Atipaj it shows up torn in half in the final song during the Vs section
@@danapowers-green3172 I don't really get the impression Velvette is romantically connected to the other Vs so far, but that could change.
Ok that's hilarious 😂
I was not physically, mentally or emotionally prepared for Alastor to say "That's the tea"
Same 😭
I love how he didn’t understand the “ace in the hole” comment but he knows that expression. I’m not sure he has used any modern slang before or after that in the show. I don’t remember him doing so. 🤔
"Radio is not dead, but it is ending THIS broadcast."
-Alastor.
It's great to see Alastor top Vox not through strength but wit. It showcases really well what Alastor is GOOD at; his intellectual skill is what puts him 7 steps ahead of others. Not just his power.
100% agree, but also… the way you phrased that 😅😳🥵
alastor top vox?? AYO--
I also wanted to mention, even though it was a smaller reaction he was clearly excited at the idea Angel may have quit. Sounds like he's jealous of Angel I assume because of Valentino being clearly obsessed with Angel and getting all of Vals attention.
I had not noticed that 🤔 I would makes sense, I had assumed that he was just frustrated with Val being an annoying mess. It must be hard for Vox to have Angel have such a hold on Val’s brain (particularly because Angel doesn’t want it)
Imagine if Val feels the same with Vox following Alastor?
Let’s not forget that Valentino’s acts of abuse towards Angel Dust. Giving AD PTSD.
Which is really horrible when we know that angel doesnt like val. Hes Being forced to stay.
Something cool my friend pointed out to me is that Alastor and Vox start with AV which also stands for Audio-Visual which makes sense considering Alastor is radio and Vox is TV.
I noticed that too!
Dr. Dow, when Vox was singing in the season finale, they show a torn photo of Alastor, and when you look at the torn edge, you see that Vox was happily standing by Alastor’s side. 😮
Ooo I'll havta look fa dat next time I watch it thru I havent been seein dat
*le gasp* I KNEW THEY USED TO BE SOMETHING OTHER THAN FOES!!!!
Curious, very curious.
Luna too!
They're probably the most psychologically complex character in the whole show and I'd love to see your character analysis of them
thiiiiiis pz therapist mama
That relationship is so toxic 😂
I almost feel that she could do an entire segment on only 1x6, truth seekers, alone!
Vox on the screen is a great touch.
Why am I seeing your pfp everywhere?
Not to mention, TV still runs on radio waves. In that sense, Alastor will always have control over Vox.
Some of you should pay for a special comment like this for invincible content in the future. Why don't i do it by my self ? Cuz im poor but i believe it would be cool
(Sorry for my bad english)
Yes hope to make it fun = ) Its always feels nice when people notice the show nods. Thanks as always it means a lot
I'm beginning to realize that, even though Viv obviously knows what she's doing, seeing it analyzed and organized especially from another person's perspective could be very profitable to her creative process if she ever watches the show
1:10 It's the classic adage of "show, don't tell". If you have to _tell_ people to trust you, your actions are probably showing something different.
Helluva Boss is still getting episodes, so especially once we get a new episode, you'll be getting views on those.
Agreed, it is still being supported whilst Hazbin has atleast another year until more content is out.
For sure
Only downside is these new episodes are now taking like 6 months to release
The wobbly antennae are adorable
On the topic of covering Helluva Boss, trust me... you will have a field day analyzing Blitz.
Blitz is a playlist in his own right.
The video might be longer than most
You know how in the song "Respectless" Velvet says that she is " The backbone of the Vee's?" I don't believe that is true.
I heard Lilith is going to appear more in season 2
Vox is such an interesting character
20:50 I love how Vox's part of this clip is just "No! ..." and then everything else is silent cause it's all curse words 😂
I CLICKED THIS SO FAST vox was one of the first new characters I IMMEDIATELY thought was just SO fun to watch.
I wouldn't worry about HB not performing well, since that show is ongoing, it's community is very much active
The vox face taped to the monitor in the background got me rolling 💀
Great analysis as always
I love how you can take a character who has less than 2 mins of screen time and make a video of this length out of that!
This is very relevant to me. My family lives rent-free in my head, and I literally cannot shut off the cycling thoughts of trauma and anger sometimes to the point where I almost feel sick. Trying to work on that though
I think Vox is just a salty ex-friend. Alastor rejected him, and he's still mad about it (at least) seven years later.
I’ve always wanted you to do episodes of, “Helluva Boss”; the two things that I think would make interesting episodes are;
- the challenges would be parents have with adoption (Blitzo and Loona)
- examining/comparing a healthy romantic relationship (Moxie and Millie), to one that is toxic (Blitzo and Stolas or Stolas and Stella)
- the trauma that children can go through, when their parents have an divorce (Octavia with her parents Stolas and Stella)
i'm excited for a potential Millie video
In the finale song, you see for a second a picture of Alastor and Vox together. I can't tell if Vox has the big head or flat screen head but it's a black and white picture of them together. Maybe they used to be friends or business partners.
I really can't wait for S2 to show us what really happened between him and Alastor.
I love how you make matching outfits for the character you talk about. These Hotel character videos are now some of my favorites.
Talk about complex emotions (to me he reads as having BPD but I'm biased because I related so HARD to him)
In general,
Stoles, Fizz, Luna, & Blitz will bring in views
Can’t wait to see what happens with him and Alastor next season
The antennae jiggling actually makes this 1000× better it's not even remotely annoying. It's adorable
(Looked it up, can't get a conclusive answer, but envy and jealousy come up frequently, so I'm half right in my eyes.)
yeah "green eyed monster" is sometimes used to mean jealousy so there's that
Yup. "Green with envy" is a way of saying "jealous"
You should let go of that person, all they do is hurting you, a sorry won’t fix everything anyway
You haven’t done a video for Valentino, Velvette, Carmilla Carmine and Sera yet. I wanna see an analysis of each of them, please!
I wanna see Rosie 😩😩
Ok ok. I did forget to add to the list Rosie and Zestial Morde. I’m not sure about Missi Zilla / Zeezi though.
I bet season 2 will give us some more material on that. :/
Vox is such an interesting character to me, I really can't wait to see more of him next season!
Vox fell screen over heels for Alastor back in the day, you can't change my mind
Especially with how that inner unhelpful dialogue will say "tRuSt Me..." 😵💫
I've shared this playlist with several of my clients that have analyzed Hazbin with me in session.
Fascinating villain Val and his relationship with Vox😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
And with Velvet- they build such a cruel team but at private their bond so strong and Voxval are so lovely even though they’re known business. How can I think of this interesting gap psychologically???
It'sl like "Feild of Dreams", "If you make it, they will come."
Helluva Boss is still an ongoing series, and fans are itching to greet new watchers and listen to their opinions.
I've been waiting for your take on the characters since you are a professional
Jey Vox! Finally!
The analysis aside, I simply adore your costumes and creativity! They are always spot on and so cute! Love it
One thing I noticed that Vox Alistor both have is the static.
Hey Georgia!❤ Love all your videos covering “Hazbin Hotel”.💫
It’s very great how you pointed out Vox’s monotony and showing how he can do great things while being an Overlord, how as ‘technology’ he has improve and upgrade, in a way trading his own way of life to entertain others.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I CAN'T WAIT for her to do Valentino
The Truth Seekers episode of Helluva Boss is like a candy shop of character analysis lol
Yes vox!! One of my favorite characters thanks again and nice cosplay as always!
YESSSS!!! Helluva Boss on the Vox episode!!! Double whammy :D 📺 🖥
So Helluva Boss wise:
Loona is the most popular algorithm wise without doubt.
Oh gosh I just noticed how when Velvette and Valentino are ranting to him he’s just not paying attention, like looking at his cellphone while they’re taking to him
i will definitely be watching ALL the helluva videos just like the hazbin hotel ones!!!
Helluva Boss is still getting released, and we're ALL frantically waiting for Full Moon.
I'm pretty sure it'll do well
I personally think it's a little soon for the Vees since they're supposedly foing to be the primary season 2 antagonists.
How to get free therapy:
●Make an animated show and model a character after you
●Realize you have more than one self currently
●Do it anyway
Blitzs whole way of handling relationships is steak for a therapist
"Handling" aka pouring gasoline over them and dropping a lit cigarette on top 💀
I love how you do a cosplay for each of these videos.
also, DAT HAT!
Vox and Valentinos conversation is literally what goes on within an abuser being mad but tries to keep the cool to the abused.
