    Would love to see a video on how you setup your lines when setting a route! What do you do for your bucket as well as your own line. ♥️

    Very cool to gain insight into the process. It was especially neat since I regularly climb at your gym. Thank you and the other setters for your work.

    When I lived in Colorado back in mid-2019 I started climbing at the Englewood location and fell in love. started watching climbing TY channels and always wondered why no one ever tried to make TY channel from those gyms earth trek then now movement gyms. And today I find this video out of no where with amazing quality and so cool seeing my old home! ( i now live and climb in SC) please keep it up! all the movement gyms are great and would love to see what other awesome content you can come up with !

    It will be great to see video like this about boulder's route! Maybe you could give some tips how create routes from random holds on the wall? Something like algorithm

    How do you set a climb that is beyond your ability? That would be an interesting video.

    I personally like it when i go into a climbing centre and they just put up new climbs and the holds are nice and clean with no chalk on

    Really really nice video, I work in a bouldering gym - not as a setter tho (yet? hehe) but I am absolutely fascinated by the craft, and I was wondering how it goes for sports climbing... Now I know! Thank you 🙏

    Routesetters are the sworn enemy of rock climbers. What even is “commercial setting” just make good routes it’s not that hard

    • @aki42
      @aki42 Год назад +5

      You have to think about it from what demograph you're setting for. Are you setting for the top 10 strongest climbers in the world? You might want to do some tricky stuff.
      Or are you trying to set for a 9 year old to have a lot fun for his 10th birthday?
      There is a V10 in my gym. One person has sent it.
      What percentage of a rock climbing gym can even do v10's?

      Commercial can also mean setting for different levels of ability.

      So, route setters are their own sworn enemy? Totally makes sense...actually, my mistake, nothing you said in your comment makes sense. Also, out of this whole video you were triggered by the use of the word "commercial".
      Explaining what you mean with proper thoughts and sentence structure would help. To quote you, "it's not that hard".
