No pitcher with the upside as Goslolin is expendable, as we saw last year with all the Pitching Injuries the Dodgers had last year. We expect to make the playoffs again and we're gunna need all the good arms we can get.
The valuation is probably not wrong on Casas, but this value is low and not what the FO will value him at. Casas has a healthy season next year and he will have more value with less control.
If Arenado goes to Dodgers, let him play 2B! So you still have Muncy at 3B and you upgrade the 2b spot. Lux, Taylor, Cartaya, and 2 young pitchers for Luis Robert and Crochet would be a great trade

I had heard the Phillies were shopping Alec Bohm (.779 OPS, 118 OPS+, proj. salary $8 million) and LHP Ranger Suarez (3.46 ERA, 117 ERA+, proj. salary $9 mil). I have no idea what Baseball Trade Values thinks nor do I much care, but I would trade Valdez to Philadelphia for Bohm and Suarez. The Phils upgrade their rotation The Astros get a quality 3B to replace Bregman on the infield while keeping the rotation from falling apart. Astros drop approx. $33 mil between Bregman and Valdez, perhaps dropping below the luxury tax. The Phils let go $17 mil. Astros new rotation is Suarez, Hunter Brown, Blanco, Arrighetti and someone from M*A*S*H, maybe Luis Garcia. The Phils rotation would be Wheeler, Valdez, Nola, Sanchez and Turnbull, Thoughts?

The Astros have money next year. Besides the Astros are looking to build up their farm system. (add Painter) and I'm in just to watch Valdez shut down the Dodgers over and over. I'll be a big Phillies fan. I heard the Phillies were interested in a Bohm for Ryan Pressly, especially if they sign Bregman. Bohm is worth more, but replacing Bregman with Bohm in Houston could destroy the club house there. (You guys would have to trade for Altuve too) Bregman and Altuve love each other and replacing Bregman with Bohm.... probably not going to work, so Bohm is probably a one or half a season guy in Houston.

I don't understand this move from the Dodgers perspective. Why trade for infield help? I would rather the Dodgers trade for Tucker from the Astros, especially if the Yankees are indeed making a strong push for Teoscar. As a matter of fact, I would hope the Dodgers trade for Tucker regardless because the plan is to play Mookie in the infield.
