  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a common condition that causes symptoms of tingling and numbness in the palm of the hand and from the thumb to the ring finger. It occurs when a nerve located on the palm side of the wrist is compressed or irritated, usually due to a number of different risk factors which cause initial symptoms at night and on waking in the morning. This video aims to provide evidence based information about carpal tunnel syndrome by answering the 3 most common questions asked by people who have been diagnosed with the condition :-
    1) What is it ?
    2) Why do I have it ?
    3) What can I do about it ?

This video has the best clear and concise explanations. I'm having carpal tunnel surgery in a few weeks and this video told me more about the surgery than my own doctor! Thanks!
