Great video! a small tip, you can 'Parkour-Interact' with almost all Doors & Chests, causing you to flip straight to and open them with a slick kick (basically just a much quicker/more accurate, animation for interacting with stuff), havent seen anyone mention it in these tips video yet. To Preform this action, simply Magic Parkour towards a Door/Chest and while Parkour'ing press the Interact button, make sure Auto-Item Gathering is on for extra ease of use!

Folks just like crapping on games not available for their preferred platform, haven't you noticed the trend. Seemingly mid games for certain platforms get lavish praise and then you have a game like this that folks happen to be interested in but rightfully apprehensive due to the poor slice of demo. My issue is folks disliking a game they were never interested in and telling others is a bad game. That's just weird. I got it ordered and beat it in two days, enjoyed my time but have serious complaints to the developers. There's no dialogue skip function to skip all the talk you can care less about, the fade to black seems like someone watched way too many episodes of Law and Order. It was fading out for pointless reasons, and taking away complete control from the player in standing dialog. All the cutscene were in game, so no idea why they didn't let you keep camera control or why they need to fade out. Trying to utilize new hardware by overusing old hardware ideologies. The last boss fight was annoying with cutscenes in the middle of battle, like really, why is this a thing? Also the opening court room thing looked added last minute and the one outside as well, it was devoid of NPC's filling in the dead space. A lot of weird things that reeks of B team doing the finishing up of this game. The main parts, the fun core is movement and spell casting combination, along with enemy types and attacks. Just wished each element had an AoE move that centered on Frey radiating out to either weaken, create room or slow enemies. Also would have been great to have an actual block but not enough buttons I guess. I was hoping to get an actual flame Sword like Tanta Sila, so badass. That's my favorite Tanta, she was about that life. Hated how eww she looked in phase three of her fight, not exactly what you'd call one hell of a way to go out. I was expecting some kind of Ifrit like look to the flames at her extremities while her eyes glowed crimson. What we got was pretty weak instead. I'm still on my way to clearing up the map for platinum though, good first outing poor mistakes in demo release and design choices for narration, stop with fading to black and taking control away from the player. Walking and talking story stuff was a no go it seems, even in safe zones. 🤦 See design choices, feel primitive for no reason at all. Olas' power is so contrary to her ability, I laughed when I got it. Illusions is a water type, but I'm guessing they are going with screwing with electrical signals to your brain, which can tamper with what you see because it's all signals in your brain.

This is an AMAZING GAME. Visually stunning animations, if skills are used with some strategy it's basically a playable action movie, over 9000. Haters are not gamers, but just button smashers who enjoy games with 2 skills only

Ratings and reviews are not meant to be weapons, however the internet is enabling just that to happen. Simple fix - they need to require proof of purchase in order to rate something. It really would not be that hard to institute that system 😊
This game is phenomenal I love everything about it absolutely everything no one no idea why people hate this so much.... The maps are so vast you feel like a speck of dust.... The effects are incredible
My fave mode to play it on is ray tracing mode it has a stable framerate but graphics get dramatically improved over the performance mode. Performance mode might look worse than elden ring.

Hey Guru dont know if you figured out the Tempest Lv.2 yet but you have to defeat the final enemy in a battle with low health you can kill them when you screen gets the cracked effect so not just low health let them keep hitting you till you get the effect on screen
Absolutely loving the game so far, already in Chapter 5 and I don't get the hate. The story is your typical FF story, with a mix of Issekai. Gameplay reminds me of Infamous for some weird reason, plus Cuff and Frey's relationship is actually pretty fun. There are repeated dialogues there, like in FF15 but overall, a fun experience.
Yeah exactly I really only have a couple gripes myself. But I would still rate it at around 7-10 I would say. Too many repeated conversations like you said. Sidequests needed to be more in-depth and adventurous. Maybe with a few special hidden bosses. I really like how they didn't tone down her language though. What I'm saying basically I like that she cusses like a sailor 🤣 she is from New York after all 🤷 It could have been a bit more things to look up around the world map for but those are really the only gripes I have.
So there is a auto collect in the settings where you don't have to constantly pick up materials with the triangle it makes life a lot easier. I am also with the rest of the people here I love this game and think it has provided all it says. I love going through all of the side quests in the game so it is taking longer but then I feel like I am getting my monies worth on the game and not just rushing to finish it.

I cant believe gamespot gave this a 5. I mean what game were they playing 😆. Now the graphics are uneven in this game thats what i dont like when out in the world almost looks like a next gen game with the combat too. But the cutscenes, and characters at the homebase ciphal so far are like elden ring graphics on ps4. And ray tracing mode is definitely my fave switching so many times between the 3 modes. Ray tracing is probably the most useful ray tracing mode in any game
How did you get the hide and seek challenge done? I can build enough power. I’ll get like 450 then it resets. I literally took out a ground of enemies within like 6s.

How long is the story? That’s a big thing for some ppl. I’m still contemplating getting this but I’m hearing both sides and I heard the stories only like 12 hours
I haven't beaten it yet but im pretty sure im 3 quarters in after playing for about 12 hours and mostly prioritizing the story. So maybe like 14-20 hours. But ive heard theirs open world activities to do once you beat the game plus the further you get the more powers you get to go and explore the world.
Finished in 20 hours. Relatively short but a great story through and through. You can draw it out and delay it by exploring but yea was a bit disappointed with that aspect

How do you find books for spellcraft challenges, i Just unlocked Prav magic, but cant do any challenges? Its asking for corresponding book to unlock challenges, how do I find those. Please help
Hope you figured this out by now, if not. You need to goto the refuges and in the same room as the bed(heal) there's a book you interact with. From there you can accept the challenges.
I'm stuck on that challenge as well..can't seem to get it to clear another 1 I'm having a difficult time clearing is the special ability with Olas's magic where u press L1+R1 and whatever button it is, basically the 1 where u zoom around like the flash through the enemies whilst hitting 'em with lightning..can't seem to get that 1 done either

Not gonna lie, I actually enjoyed it 😂 the story was a bit short but very well written ,and while the massive world feels a bit empty after a while exploring I will say that the combat once you have a decent amount of spells is very enjoyable. Though I do understand that it isnt everyones cup of tea for sure.

I remember the feeling I had when playing Prototype back in the day. This game brought it back but added sonic frontiers and Infamous to the mix. 16 hours in and still having a damn good time.

Just to help you out. For Tempest LvL 2, you have to get your shield broken and when its on cooldown kill the last enemy with Tempest.

For tempest lv 2 you need your cuff shield to break when you take a deadly hit it puts you into critical you can get the upgrade

I've not seen any mention of using L3 during a fall to prevent all damage. No matter the height it seems.
You can do any attack or use the grapple to cancel out the fall damage as well.
then get "float" ability it slows down the fall

I cant believe gamespot gave this a 5. I mean what game were they playing 😆. Now the graphics are uneven in this game thats what i dont like when out in the world almost looks like a next gen game with the combat too. But the cutscenes, and characters at the homebase ciphal so far are like elden ring graphics on ps4. And ray tracing mode is definitely my fave switching so many times between the 3 modes. Ray tracing is probably the most useful ray tracing mode in any game

How long is the story? That’s a big thing for some ppl. I’m still contemplating getting this but I’m hearing both sides and I heard the stories only like 12 hours
I haven't beaten it yet but im pretty sure im 3 quarters in after playing for about 12 hours and mostly prioritizing the story. So maybe like 14-20 hours. But ive heard theirs open world activities to do once you beat the game plus the further you get the more powers you get to go and explore the world.
It’s a 15 hour run if you do just the main story with minimal side content. But if you do a mix of both as you go you’ll have 30 hours of gameplay.
You'll hit about 35% of the game once you complete the story. The story is about 15hrs.
Finished in 20 hours. Relatively short but a great story through and through. You can draw it out and delay it by exploring but yea was a bit disappointed with that aspect

I killed at least 200 enemies at start got me to lvl 10 lol😂😂
The battle system is so freaking shit that I dropped the game right after the location where I had to rescue citizen from waves of dozens of all the monsters in the game. Thanks but play this yourselves, developers

How do you find books for spellcraft challenges, i Just unlocked Prav magic, but cant do any challenges?
Its asking for corresponding book to unlock challenges, how do I find those.

Hope you figured this out by now, if not. You need to goto the refuges and in the same room as the bed(heal) there's a book you interact with. From there you can accept the challenges.
I'm stuck on that challenge as well..can't seem to get it to clear another 1 I'm having a difficult time clearing is the special ability with Olas's magic where u press L1+R1 and whatever button it is, basically the 1 where u zoom around like the flash through the enemies whilst hitting 'em with lightning..can't seem to get that 1 done either

Just keep the buttons pressed and it will automatically cast level two and three without any action needed if they are unlocked.

Not gonna lie, I actually enjoyed it 😂 the story was a bit short but very well written ,and while the massive world feels a bit empty after a while exploring I will say that the combat once you have a decent amount of spells is very enjoyable. Though I do understand that it isnt everyones cup of tea for sure.

I remember the feeling I had when playing Prototype back in the day. This game brought it back but added sonic frontiers and Infamous to the mix. 16 hours in and still having a damn good time.
The lies your need to tell yourself to feel good that you don't have to tell the truth, you didn't have $70 to spend on this game, so the naysayers were right. You guys are hilarious, take that money you didn't spend and go buy a spine.

It's definitely not a trash. I just finished the story after 18hrs and now I am ready to explore side content. Super fun game!

The last game I preordered was Elden Ring and it was literally the night before launch. I’m proud to say that I’ve saved tons of cash by NOT buying these horrible titles like Callisto Protocol and Forspoken, just to name a few.
