Ian you ARE a rollmodel, with your openness and vulnerability, so honest and caring, and tremendous courage & willpower to overcome adversity & create the life you're living now. I'm in awe!
Dr.Ian, I think you are doing a fabulous job. Please don't be so hard on your self. We are kind and very attentive to those around you and the ones you take care of. ❤ THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO AND HAVE DONE. R.I.P. Carol, Our thoughts and prayers are with your family, friends and coworkers. You will be missed by many. We will continue to pray for your family.
Ian you are a beautiful soul. You come across as such a caring person. God bless you for all of your great work. I am glad you made it to be a doctor. 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰love from Australia
Thank you so much for posting these videos. I am in the US and have only been able to watch up to 16 seasons of 24 Hours in A&E. I have been checking on you tube to see if anyone has posted some of the other seasons. I even subscribed to Brit box hoping this show was on it. Found out it was not. Anyway, I hope you will keep posting as many.of these that you can. I will definitly be watching them. Thanks again.
James and his mum are an inspiration. I quote one of the worlds most famous photographers: "The world is full of people who are fighting the battle of feeling good enough. Everyone is more than good enough in their own unique way."
Ian tis a hero n has proved everyone wrong.... hes awesome and even tho he says hes not a role model im sure he tis to a lot of ppl who are watching this xxx
Autism is a super power!!! That’s what I tell my beautiful boys. I wouldn’t change my boys for anything in this world but I would change the world for them to understand them.
I’m married to a woman who is on the autism spectrum and both of our daughters are as well. They are very lovely, brilliant people and I am so grateful to have them in my life!
I live in the US and find it heart warming how people in countries with a NHS aren't worried about the cost of their treatment. I know they pay high taxes for this but I know it is well worth whatever it is they pay because they have no stress worrying about the bills that are mounting up. The states will probably never see a day when a NHS is available.
I love dr Ian. I hope that he is happy and no longer having anxiety. He is so kind and gentle. James is gorgeous just like his mom and I have no doubt that he is going to be a great writer.
James is precious…what a polite young man who speaks with the adults so well. I wish his peers could see him as the valuable, worthy young man that he is. Having been a teacher for 30 years, it breaks my heart that people (of all ages) can so easily be mean to one another instead of take the path of empathy and acceptance. On another note…if you’re going to make the choice to have your nipples pierced, you’d better be prepared to have the piercing ripped out. Natural consequences for your choice…😕. Dr. Ian…as a child you should have been supported and encouraged, not put down and disrespected. There are no words for the perseverance and determination of character you showed to prove your worth to others…that same worth that was always there ! ❤️
RIP Carole and prayers for comfort for Terry and Jim and their families. Chris is hilarious but also has a great smile along with a fantastic attitude on life...James did well with this interview and he'll go far in life doing what he loves kudos to his Mom for how she's raised him and how much she loves and believes in him.
One thing I’ve learned in the past year is that well I do love people but you can only give so much of yourself before you just have to pull in the reins and give back to yourself a little bit
I have a little relative with ADHD. I loved to her the Registrar doctor tell that he had ADHD and dyslexia. I've heard that working in emergency medicine is a good career for someone with that brain condition, and there he is!
If you feel your child might be autistic? See a Dr, counselor, someone who can help with planning therapy, special tutoring, etc. The sooner the better!! Do not wait!! My grandson is autistic, diagnosed before he was 1 year old. He needed extra help in school, also socializing, etc. He is in high school now. Doing very well. He will be able to graduate and get a diploma. Having help since he was a baby has made a big difference. He is an empathetic boy who loves animals and video games. Doing well with manners. Autism is not the end of the world. 😊😊😊
No child should be told they are too stupid to succeed. When I was born with Spina bifida, the doctors said I would die within a few days. When I was still "kicking" after a few days, they decided to operate & reconnect the nerves to my spine they gave me the wrong type of blood. So I turned orange. The doctor said it would either kill me or make me extremely retarded. Back I go for another blood transfusion. Then hydrocephalus set in. No shunts back in the dark ages. That was supposed to kill me or make me severely retarded. Nope. A lot of prayer went up for me I know. I am partially paralyzed on my left side. That leg is a bit shorter & my foot is crooked. I had 3 siblings to keep up with.I hit all my milestones on time. I even have a college degree so I guess I am not retarded. Doctors can be wrong too.
Too many people think it is all about them and their little boo-boos. I worked the emergency room once while at uni and was shocked at the number of adults with colds and sprains that were bellowing like drowning oxen that they needed to be seen NOW, while children around them were burning with fever and seniors were suffering strokes and heart attacks in the next room. Nope. I changed course. I don’t have enough empathy for that and too much to ignore the jerks and narcissists. Seeing a seven year old with his hand blown away from fireworks his father gave him sealed it for me. All medical personnel and firefighters have my deepest respect

I know in my heart that James will go through life just fine! He’s got such a loving mom who seems to take perfect care of him! 💗

Not gonna lie I’ve always been pretty impressed by people who can create crazy things out of LEGO ❤😂
Sara, you are a kind, sensitive Mum. You deserve all the very best life has to offer you. Good luck your story resonated with me so much.
RIP Carole, prayers to Jim and Terry. Love colored bearded man!

I love the "autism is like being a superhero" ❤
ABSOLUTELY!! And each person can have a super power!!❤😂❤😂
I’m married to a woman who is on the autism spectrum and both of our daughters are as well. They are very lovely, brilliant people and I am so grateful to have them in my life!

By the way, that dude with the red beard, I friggin love it I’ve never actually seen somebody with a beard like that and I think it looks really cool.
The power of a mother's love never fails to amaze me......
Congratulations Ian, you are a champion!
Toward the end, the lady at the end, you should know that you’re a really really good person and a really good parent

Ian, you are a blessing dear Sir. Endless love and thanks your way. Thank you for taking such good care of our kids. From an Adult ASD ❤
That’s the kind of person. I am trying to be there for other people so much that I lost myself and it’s really hard to pull yourself back out for that

Huh,maybe our granddmothers were right when they said "It can PUT YOUR EYE OUT!!" yeah? Who knew!

That's what I want to hear from a receptionist at an emergency department, "we got people here dying"... Uhhhh
Too many people think it is all about them and their little boo-boos. Didn't know they did a series at the QMC... watching to see if there's anyone i know
Abusive parents should remember that one day they may be old and feeble and dependent on their children.
Interesting with the color changing beard. Lol
I mean, I managed to build a little mansion in a spaceship once that’s about as far as I could go
Amen
Is so sad that people steal others hard work here on you tube! You’ve been turned in!
The way the woman went on about her nipples. I’m sorry like some things are super serious but just the way it they talk about it makes you laugh. 😂
I wonder if James’s dad is involved
