Great vid.. I thought I was the only one that read Steve Perry.. I own pretty much all he's written..2 other guys you need to check out are Steven Barnes Aubry Knight series (hard to get) and Matthew Stover Acts of Caine series.. unbelievably good sci-fi/ fantasy/ martial art books.. their world building is even better than Perry's if I'm being honest.. their books don't just deal with the techniques of fighting but the psychological component of combat... What those 3 authors have in common are they are all trained martial artists in various styles for many years.. If you can find those books, I'm sure you'll love them..
I’ll check it out. I really enjoyed how Robert Jordan described sword fighting in The Wheel of Time. He would instead of describing the move he would use a name of the sword form “Boar in the rushes” etc

Yeah! I just read the first book in that series like a year ago. I've been meaning to get around to the rest of the series.
