    Two corrections. First, I mention the yellow line in Climate Smart Farming as the temperature for 10% bud kill, it's 50%. Visit climatesmartfarming.org/tools/csf-apple-freeze-probability/ and you will see that. Second, despite Win's insistence that Alion cannot be used after bud break, that is not true, but the label does recommend only using where trunks are shielded from spray and to be careful to not contact desirable foliage with the spray. As far as Chateau goes, that one does need to be applied before silver tip in apple, bud break in stone fruit. Herbicides are complicated, take a good look at the label the night before application when you are not in a rush! That's my advice!
