@@Danathema There is a lot of evidence out there, you must research further to gain clarity on the OG comment. Rosemary knows Kurt was murdered. Goldberg is her husband, so he knows as well, he states suicide to navigate hollywood/life. Wish he would keep it 100, but I'm sure he has his reasons. Tom Grant has Rosemary on tape discussing her suspicions of Courtney Love, but it was conflicting as she was Kurt and Courtney's attorney.
@@ven11235 Carroll was not Cobain and Love's attorney. What are you talking about? Cobain and Love's attorney was Allen Draher. After Cobain's death, Love changed legal representation to Scott Liechenstein. Nobody "knows" Cobain was murdered because he wasn't. He committed suicide. Stop projecting your foolish parasocial beliefs onto others. The same tapes Grant refuses to hand over unedited, those ones?
Not a single one of Cobain's close friends or family, even the ones that loathe Love, have stated even a suspicion of murder and have explicitly stated that it was a suicide. That's because it was. There is no evidence whatsoever of murder outside the demented little minds of Cobain's legion of parasocial "fans" that Grant is manipulating to fuel his own bank balance.

Why I always feel this guy is a bad person with shady things in his pocket everytime I see an interview with him? I feel like Kurt Cobain was very naive in a way and chose to trust very bad people.
Oh ok, Kurt was so naive he ended up more successful and rich than most of us can ever dream, brought so much joy to millions of strangers' lives, birthed a beautiful soul into the world, and did whatever the f he wanted to do. People such as yourself who ascribe naivete or ignorance to him just belittle the man's life to a horrible degree. Kurt was vilified in his life for being married to Courtney, and in death he receives the same emasculation from people who claim to be fans of his. They never listen to what Kurt actually said, and if they do, they come up with a reason for why Kurt was too stupid to know what he was talking about: "I have a goddess of a wife who sweats ambition and empathy" (Incesticide liner notes). We want to believe there is more because we love Kurt but he was bipolar he killed himself, my friend killed himself and one day was cool and one day hehates the world it sux, and they just need help, but sometimes more times it is to late.

I typically shun the tendency to jump into conspiracy theories, but I’m sorry…there is nothing you can say to get me to believe he wasn’t murdered. I just don’t buy it. The music industry was, for most of its history, directly tied to organised crime. Only in recent years with the rise of the internet has that changed. Somebody decided that a dead Kurt Cobain - who was incessantly giving his employers at Geffen a lot of headaches by deliberately blowing off show dates that were worth millions of dollars - would be worth a whole lot more immortalised in the world of pop culture mythos than alive, where he would only fizzle out of relevance and be worth nothing in less than half a decade. He was murdered. Top all that off with his overly ambitious wife whose own father believes she did it.
And, just for the record, I couldn’t care less about Nirvana’s music anymore. I loved it as a kid, had all their records, from Bleach to In Utero, but I don’t listen to anything anymore except traditional folk and baroque; I’m old and dull as they come now. So I’m not exactly a Cobain fan boy. But I know how the music business works, it is as dirty and corrupt as any other.
I’m not even necessarily saying that his wife had anything to do with it, I am simply saying that somebody in that business decided he is worth a hell of a lot more dead than alive. And from everything I have studied about that case, Cobain was, as Goldberg points out, extremely difficult about touring and playing live, among other things. He deliberately went out of his way on more than a few occasions to skip out on shows and potential tour dates that would have made his record company bosses a lot of money. That is basically unprecedented.
Nobody in the second generation of punk rock had ever made it to the mainstream level that Nirvana did. Not even the Ramones or the Pistols. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is going to snub their employer over making a couple million dollars over one small summer tour; the aforementioned Lollapalooza dates were a huge cash cow for Nirvana. Nobody but someone like Cobain would have blew that off. That meant a lot of losses for the industry, something they were still not yet quite dealing with at that time. You start pissing off people in the entertainment industry like that, you start taking away money from big wigs, they will absolutely crush you like a bug…especially if they can cash in while doing it. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that a dead Kurt Cobain would be a pop culture grubstaker for all the fat cats at Geffen Records.
Goldberg even says that he was close with Courtney Love around 7:00. And no, I am not suggesting that he had any inside knowledge or anything. I’m just saying that it is only natural to assume that he would side with her and would not say or think anything that paints her in a negative light.
