The problem nowadays is, that the most out there are only looking for the best bass experience, but music is definitely more than just bass.
If no bass no music
@@Mr-Faraz92 Ever heard classical music?
@@milescx Classical has lots of bass. You didn't know that? Wow.
@@kennymccormick8295 I do, but it definitely has more mids and highs.
I want to buy my father a speaker that’s good for mids that he’ll put in a compartment in his (aux lacking) car, since he listens to a lot of people talking rather than music
Saw 20+ videos before but You guys does the the best speakers review! very informative + real sense audio while recording . Thanks
Just got the JBL clip 4 for my birthday. I was quite surprised by the sound quality. I work in a hotel in a small room which is the front desk area and it totally fills the area with sound. Walking outside it does seem to sound quieter because there are less acoustics and walls to bounce off, and feels as though it drops a bit in the bass because of it, but overall I am quite happy with my birthday gift. It has super clear sound and a nice bass that seems to be more dramatic in enclosed areas.
SM3 for me to complement my S3. 😂 I just bought the SM3 after seeing your review. THANK YOU!
Best review on anywhere including YT. Thanks.
That is a very good review. Thanks
Good comparison 👍 I prefer the second of the tribit micro 2 because of volume and clearer sound and it's Bluetooth 5.3.
Yes sir!
Thanks for making this!
Our pleasure!
Great video guys! Now I have to decide between the Sony and the Anker. I thought those two were the best options as well. Thanks for the help and have a good one!
Our pleasure! And thank you for the feedback.
I bought a Souncore Mini 3 this summer to take to a festival. No issues with it so far and the sound quality is excellent!
How about bass sound?
@@muchamadmunawar pretty good! I’ve used the app to tweak the base a little to give it more of a punch but otherwise it’s respectable considering it’s size!
But low on volume
@@Nonso_Gerard it’s a mini speaker, it’s not meant to be a room filler
For me I like both the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 and the Soundcore Mini 3 but out of those two I would prefer the Stormbox Micro 2
100% easy decision.
Sounds like the Sony wins where bass orientated music is concerned.
Battery life can be overcome. Size is size.
Bluetooth is, well…Bluetooth.
Linking is what it is…
Great review guys.
sounds to me like a lotta compromise there mate...
Great comparison video! Sony stands out for me. Would have liked to seen the Bose Micro included. 😎
Looking forward to future comparisons as the choices continue to expand.
Bose Soundlink Micro is simply too old model.
Also twice the price
@@Nogitsune_Yakoit’s old but still really good
i am happy with the soundcore mini 3. very balanced. only drawback: you can't couple two of them for stereo. u can only couple in an non stereo party mode.
It would be nice to see an updated comparison. Sony now released their new version of Xb100, I wonder how it compares to those other speakers now
I bought 2 Soundcore Mini 3's. I think they are awesome.
can they be paired in stereo or just mono?
@@frandavid8 No stereo pairing.
Yah nice comparison.. i like sony xb13😇👍
I couldn’t afford none of these so I bought a Chinese one for 10$ and for someone who doesn’t care about bass performance and wants clean sound I’ve been pretty happy so far 😊
There's lots of good Cheap Chinese brands.. The only downside is you cant run it at full volume and some of it has a talking girl when connecting, power on off etc.. But you can find a hifi speaker under 10$ in chinese brands
Excellent comparison 👍
Advise which is better, Tribit STORMBOX micro 2 or JBL GO 3 or Soundcore mini3 pro, they are plus or minus the same in our store, tribit is a little more expensive, a difficult choice)
Guys...what is that tune you played on the first speaker. Banger!!
I'd rather choose Tribit Stormbox Micro 2, it has all the features that you need especially if your phone is running out of juice when you're outside. Sound quality of these speakers are all the same but we need to look for something that is unique from it.
100% smart.
They most certainly are not all the same sound..
ohhh so the micro 2 reverse charges? didn't know this!
Xb13 for me
Something that helps me in other sound comparison videos is first listening the sound of a smartphone as a control sample, and then listening to the speakers.
Oh! and you should mark the volume levels in each sample, because the soundcore and sony are very quiet and their 50% volume is very different to 50% of the JBL Clip 4 and the Tribit Stormbox.
I’ve never used the soundcore mini 3 at 50%. The 100% is even quiet
Is there Latency when playing movies or games on a laptop in these speakers?
Grundig jam is my Favorit for Indoor. Perfekt for Podcast and Natural Sound. 30h Playtime also on Top👍
Question, with the Sony SB13, if it runs out of battery, will it allow you to plug it in (to charge of course), and immediately play straight without having or what? I have the JBL Essentials and that allows me to do that whereas my older UE BOOM, it needs it to be charged at a specific amount before being able to play it (big boo!) thx in advance do this awesome speaker review btw! :)
I have the Sony and you can charge while playing music.
Hi Guys do you know what is the real weight of the soundcore mini 3 ?
Good video
XB13 all day
Good choice.
Which one is the loudest
Uh…Tribit app now supports Micro 2 and is EXCELLENT!
Which is the loudest?
You could drop them from 3 meters to test durability and it would be same result
I feel like the anchor sound core mini three needs more base. I own one.
can you remove the strap on the Soundcore Mini 3? I would hope so, otherwise it may not fit in a case.
My choice is Stormbox Micro 2
Anything available that's maybe a little bit smaller little less battery life that can fit in the chest pockets of a jacket?
🤞
Just start adding some classical music to your reviews please... Organ music would be an excellent choice, due to the massive colour palette and range of the instrument. This track would be awesome, for example, for testing: "Cavaillé Coll Organ - Saint-Ouen Abbey Church - Final Symphony No 1 - Gerard Brooks" here on youtube. I ordered the Bose Soundlink Flex after the impressive reviews and it absolutely sucks when I play this track due to the bass heaviness of the speaker. Zero clarity, high and mid nowhere.
Its a shame the Sony XB100 cant squeeze into this list because I think its a worthy contender at £55
(edit the Tribit Stormbox Micro as of writing this comment is £53 on amazon and its definitely worth getting the Sony XB100 instead as they improved nearly everything about it vs the XB13)
Heard the Sony xb100 2 weeks ago but send it back because the cilinder trills to much and move around when you push the sound a little bit up.. and i dont push it too loud.. so..
Sound core is superb
you CAN connect original micro to micro2
ONN Mini ftw
Which one is best for podcast?
@5:01 He said that the JBL Clip 4 has the best vocal clarity.
@@You-sw7tm Thank you
Can you review thecoopidea mini speaker
Just returned the JBL back to the store because of no microphone for calls. Exchanged it for the Sony
is it me or JBL has mids highlighted. A bit harsh i guess.
I had a storm box. It blew from me using it too loudly
And Marshall Willem , Bose micro?
SONY stood out in sound 👍
Sony stood out in Bass.
Overall the clip4 ist the JBL is the best.
@@Sefi47 nah it sounds tinny in comparison.
I own two Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 speakers and I pair them to produce stereo sound. The bass becomes stronger and sound more clear.
The Tribit app supports it already and you can choose from a variety of preset EQ settings or customize your own EQ settings.
Good to know!
Yes it is amazing :D
how do you guys feel comfortable leaving those speakers in public? try that here in virginia parks most likely someone will run by and snatch it off the table and you, well thats on you what will happen next.
Jbl go3?
they should use the latest version..soundcore mini 3 pro..its more loud bassy..i think ez trash the others
Tribit seems to be best in sound.
*I don't like that these have microphones.* Is there something similar without the eavesdropping device?
Yeah go find a metal bowl to sit your phone in to boost the volume, no microphones there.
@@deadringer-cultofdeathratt8813 [crickets]
Missed wonderboom 3
JBL Best.
has anyone tried the xb13 or soundcore mini3 in a car cupholder?
Пробовал пару flip 5, в Тойота пассо 🔥
To me Sony has the best sound quality and balanced while JBL is the least clear to me due to extra crispy trebles to make it louder by the company. I will go with Anker though because in my country it's half the price of others and still great sound and slightly smaller. XB100 may be very very good though.
The clip4 is the shortest batt life it has only 1050mAh , if i remember the soundcore and sony between them has 1600 or 1800mAh, stormbox micro i dont know
I bought the soundcore 3 and I do not see the noise generator in the app
It's there, you have to click on the soundcore logo and then the white noise option pops up
You forgot the BOSE.. but sony sounds best for the size, the bass lacks in the others.
is that my man who is always jumping around all over the place with rubber bones, and always says stay flexy?😆
I'm not a camper really, but I have no idea why i'd want to have a speaker out in the wilds. At most I'll get some headphones. All that noise interrupts the wilderness, animals and other campers. So much so, I'd hope most parks ban playing loud sounds.
What's the point of camping if y'all going to bring all the electronics, tech , etc?
When you are not alone, then a loudspeaker is not a bad idea.
You are never alone.
@@auttark9815 Thank you Agent Mulder 😁
I like a small portable clip on speaker for my bicycle rides (I commute to work in a city). Headphones aren't a safe option because they block out all ambient sound in traffic.
@@claudetteh67
Good point. I have nearly got into trouble a couple of times from anc earphones.
Stormbox micro 2 still the best of all
Трибит самый оптимальный вариант👍
I've got the fake JBL clip 4 for 3$ , surprisingly it has a very good battery life , I could used it in 3 days with single charge
Lol why buy something fake
Because it's cheap and I can't afford the original one
@@LOW_Quality_ASMR if you cant afford a $60 dll speaker you are doing something really wrong with your life
I bought it for 4 bucks
@@chevy1810 Tell that to most people on the planet. Let's not forget that while some of us are privileged enough to think nothing of $60, that's a whole lot of money for most people around the world; especially to spend on something as frivolous as a portable speaker. I have lots of name-brand items, but I also have a bunch of dupes because they're great and inexpensive, so why not?! I also love thrift stores. Be kind and go touch some grass.
Yeah Bruh I’m looking for one for my pool Bruh
TRIBIT THE BEST
Hah.. Poor Willen is left out for being too expensive.
1:18
So annoying that the jbl can’t be paired with other speakers 🤬
Agreed.
Sony XB 13
i think this review is rigged.. the tribit should compete in this comparison. the audio comparison is not accurate since you can easily tell the phase shifts from the limited directionality of the strombox micro
Have been using the clip 4 for about a year and it’s been really disappointing! All of the “adhesives” have peeled off! Including the back protection (serves to avoid vibration from the speaker to the table for example). So I can’t recommend it! It’s a really downgrade from the last generation and I am not buying another jbl that has this kind of adhesive.
xb13 was the best
GJ
One tip:don’t buy the jbl clip 4 istead buy the clip 3 it’s better it’s louder
Shouldn’t need a speaker when exploring in my opinion
no willen?
What is Harry Potter doing here?
Had the Sony. Strongly don't recommend it. Goes very quiet when the battery gets low. Sound is terrible outside. Avoid. And I'm not a speaker snob.
You just said let's test the sound quality, just like that, like it's just one of the minor things you need to compare. You could have said it like, "Now let's test the most important thong about these products, the one thing which actually matter the most or let's compare the sound quality which is the top and the most important aspect in choosing these speakers. You know something that would emphasize the critical and important factor which it is.
But instead you just straight said let's compare the sound quality. Damn.. it left me unsatisfied.
Which one is loudest
