I think it would probably help if you explored more, since putting envoys into scientific city states is one of the best ways to up your science. You mentioned that Hypatia, Newton, and Einstein are some of the best scientists, and it's worth noting that putting 6 envoys in a scientific city state gives pretty much the same benefits as all 3 of them combined. Even in the mid game, with 10 cities with 10 universities you would get an extra 30 science per city state, with another 30 once you get research labs.
Video idea - set a turn limit and go for a score win. Say try to hit 1500 score in under 200 turns? I know score victories are lame, but the video would be instructive at understanding score and how you would base a game plan around score, which I've never seen done.
Hey ! I've discovered your video recently with the Amanitore game and I gotta say I like them a lot. It also really helped me improve on the game so glad to be here !
Awesome video! Honest question though: was there a reason you left Sweden survive? It seems like you could’ve very easily grabbed those last two cities no?

Another well rounded episode! It just left me *wondering*, if Isidore would have lived, if he finished Maus with his last charge.
