For anyone wondering about the Zeno Button: In the anime it looks like he created it, but in the manga he just gives it to Goku. Toei might have messed up since it has the same design as Whis’ communicator - implying the Grand Priest made it. Regardless, that’s like saying Piccolo can make clothes so maybe he made the multiverse - the logic doesn’t follow.
Piccolo is the Omni king confirmed?

I mean I’m not sure whether or not Zeno deleting Zamasu is as impressive as it seems. I mean if someone asks the super dragon balls for a cake and then they eat it, does that make them more powerful than the super dragon balls? Problem is we don’t have a frame of reference on immortality granted by other dragon balls. If anything Beerus’s inability to destroy immortals and he doesn’t specify granted by super dragon balls so that must be universal for all immortals. Zeno while very powerful fails to keep up watching several combatants in the ToP. In dragon ball this an almost universal sign of being much weaker than those fighting so this may be a sign that he is weaker than them.
I have my own theory on why the dragon multiverse is the way it is. It’s simple Zeno wished on the super dragon balls for the ability to destroy anything he desired. Using this power he usurped the true order of the universes and put it into the broken joke it is now. Notice how inefficient and ineffective the current system of running things are. The angels despite being called guides are essentially servants to the GoDs. When was the last time Whis stopped Beerus from destroying a planet because it didn’t have tasty food, or made him destroy something like Frieza or Buu because that hurts the universe to have unchecked planet killers going around destroying things indiscriminately, or guiding him to a planet that should be destroyed being a martial arts instructor is not part of the job description. Next onto the GoDs that if Beerus and Champa are any indication can do whatever the hell they want so long as they don’t get Zeno’s attention including sleeping for eons at a time. If anything mortals should not be allowed to get to planet destroying levels of strength in the first place because for every Goku there’s a hundred Friezas or Buus. The Gokus should be taken as candidates and all others either sealed or killed. The kais despite being gods don’t really seem to do much of anything except create the occasional planet. They could do so much more but actively choose to do almost nothing. This is all as Zeno decreed in the early years of the muiltiverse calendar. Zeno himself is childish because the ability overwhelmed his mind and caused it to regress to its current state and that’s essentially where it has stayed since.

If Zeno is the God of Destruction, and the Super Dragon Balls can reverse his destruction, it’s most likely his Supreme Kai is Zalama considering the way the Super Dragon Balls counter Zeno but Zeno doing the same thing Back. Hell, Namekians were stated to be from a Different Dimension so it’s possible Zalama is the Only Namekian that stayed in said Birth Dimension after becoming the God of Creation.
Where was the namekians being from another dimension stated? Im genuinely curious

That would make more sense than some other things.
Maybe Zeno and the Grand Priest created the Gods of destruction and angels to mimic their own system
zeno being a GoD, grand priest being his angel, and Zarama being the creation gods would be a neat twist. And it would make sense where the idea for the system came for. This would also explain why Zeno doesn't seem omnipotent as rather being the one above all or something, it's shared between 3 beings. Whis' statement of grand priest would also be true then and not like excluding Zeno. Angels stronger than GoDs, and GoDs are stronger than Kais since zeno could overpower Super Shenron's wish. We know Dragon balls are relative to their creators power as well so everything fits nicely.
Usually I don't have hope for DB to expand on its mythos too much but TBH thats one thing Super has been doing better than it's predecessors, and I feel like Toriyama, Toyotaro, and etc. know Zarama is a lingering plot thread so I have faith they will explore it one day or maybe zarama is long dead and the SDBs are just remnants of him

But i think its more like their equal in their respective fields. Like one is just as powerful in destroying as the other is in creating. Both could be recognized as a stand-in for a sound in Japanese part-way among the R, L, & D sounds. While I agree with the majority who use R to represent this sound, I wouldn’t say those who choose to use L are wrong. So, you could spell the name Zarama or Zalama. (It’s also like Shenron/Shenlon)
@@abhabh6896 Keep in mind that while Zeno destroyed those universes, he wasn’t actively trying to keep them destroyed, on the contrary he wanted 17 to make that wish. Meanwhile Zeno being able to destroy a being Zalama specifically made to be un-killable is much stronger evidence for Zeno being the more powerful of the two

Zalama was a Namekian that came from "another dimension" and was so powerful he got a job interview to become the Kai like counterpart to Zenuh. He's somewhere big chillin enjoying his Passive income since his Dragon Does all the work for him. True Sigma Male.

I always figured then saying the grand priest is “the mightiest” just meant he’s the best fighter. Zeno clearly isn’t a fighter meaning he isn’t “strong”, he can just erase and create anything making him the ultimate being.

I honestly think that Zeno is the multiversal destroyer. Zalama may be his multiversal kai. Think about that one, the wish orbs he created were able to bring back universes that Zeno erased.

we actually do see Zeno create in the series! if you go back to when Goku got the button from Zeno it’s very clear that Zeno created the button from thin air, Zeno has the power of creation and destruction

This is exactly something I’ve always thought about, Zeno’s tittle as “Ruler of Everything” never really sound like he created the multiverse, more or else sounded like he ruled over it like his own universe just like a G.O.D does. And the Grand Priest is always there to guide him and judge his decisions before he takes action, it’s just like how the angels treat their Gods of Destruction. Though I feel like a possible Kai for Zeno would probably have been Zalama since he was obviously a member of the dragon clan namekian’s who basically only really create Dragon balls and heal injuries. If you think about it the namekian’s ability to create orbs that have the power to make any wish come true kind of relates to the Kai’s jobs as creators.

I'm seeing theories here but I think one thing going unmentioned is that every angel is an attendant to their god of destruction, but also their mentor. In everything but title, the angels surpass their respective god of destruction. Meaning if Zeno-sama is in fact a god of destruction, the Grand Priest would absolutely be his counterpart. There's also the point of angels not being allowed to meddle in mortal affairs, but everyone else being allowed to, including Zeno. The grand priest even had to erase [spoiler] to make sure their actions did not cross this fundamental law of the universe.

I like this theory but I don’t think it’s the reality, Zeno is portrayed as the absolute pinnacle of power and this theory puts the gp above him.
I like to think that Zalama is Zeno's Supreme kai since he has the ability to grant any wish through the super dragon balls which in essence is being able to make anything, which is the exact opposite of Zeno, and so maybe the reason we never see Zalama is because he is always hidden so that nobody could somehow kill him ruining the balance of the multiverse.
He probably doesn't have one since that would be another person for his guards to protect. Or zalama is part kai which would be pretty interesting.

I’m starting to think the super dragon balls where made at the start of time for Creation
Tori told his disciple, Toyotaro, that Zeno is absolute and that there’s no one above Zeno, he also confirmed that Zeno can create as he said that Toriyama told him that in the scene where future Zeno was in the nothingness Zeno was actually thinking of how he should rebuilt. This comes from a 2019 interview that was had with Toyotaro.
But we are told he is the "ruler of everything", nobody ever mentions that he is a destroyer or that he can even only destroy. So, the fact that he is the "ruler of everything", along with the fact that he can destroy implies that he can also create if he wanted too. Just because we don't see it or haven't seen it yet, doesn't mean he can't do it.

Betting now that the multiverse supreme kai equivalent is guy that made the super dragon balls, as well as presumably the original namekian. After all, dragon balls are basically a representation of creation itself. Seven balls created by a namekian, then infused with a dragon given life by that same namekian, able to restore just as easily as the universe's massive destructive forces are able to destroy.

Didn't they say in the anime canon that the grand priest is among the top 5 strongest? That could still mean he's the strongest of the 5, and it doesn't mean Zeno is one of them, but it is interesting how the anime made it vague and the manga made it definitive.

Zalama has to be Zeno's Kai. Zalama is dressed with a hood like so. And that just might mean Zalama is still alive, if Zeno is still alive. It just might be a big part at the end of DBS.
But remember Zeno is identified as a child even know being billions of years old he still needs someone to watch over him, so he might not know how to create universes yet and only rules until he can master his full power and create universes and finally know how to create universes and make universes while ruling even know every angel or Kai watches over the gods of destruction. His angel still needs to do the most by watching over a child that has yet to learn full power.
The super dragon balls were used for the WINNERS wish meaning that in order for the universes to be restored the WINNER had to make the wish so Zeno is probably able to create universes it’s just that he didn’t because he wanted the winner to directly wish for them to be restored
So... Will we get 13 different Zenos eventually? Or will we simply get GT retold with everyone becoming a kid in new series?

However, he is more so a comedic piece Toriyma inserts for fun more than anything else.
