That’s too soon to say….there’s a lot of nobodies who will emerge from the darkness. Don’t ever underestimate indie Directors, there could be someone who overshadows them, you never know.
When you want something done sometime you have to do it yourself.also, try to just for fun.try acting out a scene in a movie that you know.its not as hard as you think.people just put acting on this pedestal.
Them talking about their awesome crew reminded me of working on the show Chicago PD. There was a buncha people internationally making noise to mess up the scene cuz they were annoyed and the sound guy was like "don't worry, I got it" and someone told me "yea... He's pretty good. He ran sound on Apocalypse Now"
I love these guys, they're very good film makers, and movie critics.... they know their shit, they have good taste....... their is something intriguing about them.... I wish I could travel 30 years into the future, and see what they've made.... I see the Safdie brothers becoming huge directors.
Why are jews SO darn good at directing movies?! I luvvit! And they're so dynamic at these interviews too. It's such an amazing blend of culture/history/silliness. They have such a lighthearted down to earth quality it's so inspiring
hearing the safdies talk about how they run sets is very similar to how I heard Jake Johnson talk about how he likes it... see where I'm going with this?
This movie made me want to start going to rivers and try to find hidden uncut gems. Ive always wanted to go gold and gem hunting scince i was a youngin. I need a metal detector and some small collapsable shovels and pick axes. Need equipment i should start buying it
Johnny in Mike Leigh’s Naked is a winner who never wins. He has 2 different women bidding for his time, he’s smart and educated yet his own cynicism holds him back.
Adam Sandler SUCKS and I haven’t been able to stand him or his movies since I was a teenager. But this one was pretty great and I enjoyed watching him work.
Calling it now. They’re gonna be cinema Kings of this era
Med take
Kings
They gotta do a live adaptation of GTA.

i think “vibe ambassador” is my new favorite term
I loved hearing about their creative process.
After watching good time, I can’t believe Benny isn’t mentally impaired
Same! I’d say it was right up there with DiCaprio’s performance in What’s Earing Gilbert Grape.
64 Ant I know i was like wait he’s not , then I found out he co-directed the movie and I was like this guys amazing

I love their brother chemistry. They are such a classic brother combo.
seeing all the movies they reference really does help paint the blueprints of their own work
Uncut gems is an incredible film
one of the top Uncut Gems interviews!
Long career ahead for these guys. All this effort they put in really pays off in the final product of their movies
The guy on the right looks strikingly similar to a young Fidel Castro.
It's like Fidel Castro and Shia LaBeouf had a love child.
🤣 that's Josh
Vibe Ambassador

I'm happy that they appreciate George Segal
Safdie brothers with Shia Lebouf. What a combination will that be🤘
What do you mean? Isn't Shia the one on the right already?

Wow they are younger than I imagined. Even after seeing one of them in good time. Super F****** talented guys
@Joshua Hammond not very well.. It doesn't look like there are enough *'s
Love the Safdies, but try not to cut away from the interview to long clips of other films so often. It's hard to stay invested in the video.
holy shit he didnt just act as the brother in good time he also co-directed it?
these guys are amazing
Ahh hero was such a classic, also very underrated
The future.
Perfect interview dayum
The safari bros
How is that not Shia LaBeouf?
bburg0025 69 I’ve thought the same thing for a week now. He both sounds and looks a lot like him.

hearing the safdies talk about how they run sets is very similar to how I heard Jake Johnson talk about how he likes it... see where I'm going with this?

Farrelly Bothers
Mark & Jay Duplass
The Wachowskis
Dardenne Brothers
Maysles Brothers
Probably a lot more.
The Nolan brothers as well...
John Paliotte duffer brothers
Cuz its a job of 2 people lol... I'm surprised all movies aren't directed in pairs
John Paliotte yeah the best ones
Would love to see a Adam Sandler compilation of his career even the bad movies he was in. Can't wait for this film.

Del Boy is a winner who doesn't win and BlackAdder
Its funny now, they actually don't really see eye to eye.
Their winners that don't win!?😂
Llewyn Davis is another winner that doesn’t win
Oh it’s in the video lol
@@RandomEarthCinema haha, I had the same moment.
