As a kid I wake up at 3:30 in the morning and get ready to go fishing leaving at 4 for a one-mile hike through the woods in Tennessee just to go fishing and my dad always used to say that if you can find a way to put morning fishing and night fishing on the same Lake at the same time then we'd be having a buffet of fish

Very true! I think I like early simply because of how nice it is to see the wildlife come to life out there. It’s a super cool time to be out there but I haven’t necessarily had better fishing early. Not for bass anyway. Now trout, that’s a whole other story. 👍🏼

Love to be on the water before the sun crest the trees. I do use small buzz baits and spinner baits, Popper for targets. I think the main draw if I'm honest is the solitude, morning birds, waves lapping the shore and boat. A few fleeing moments in Shangri-la.

Very interesting. Maybe we can hear more of how you narrow down what bait to use. During other times of day. Like mid day for instance. That’s when I fish a lot if I’m not getting up early. You have probably mentioned it all before just a thought

In the middle of Summer, I believe early morning fishing is the best time to go out. I'm talking about day time highs in the upper 80s or 90s. That hour before sunrise, and half hour after are money. Well, at least here in central Maryland.

I love fishing a spinnerbaits just under the surface. Probably my most productive way to fish it.

What do you think about fishin' at night for bass? I don't have any experience with bass at night, but in the saltwater I've caught a lot of fish at night. Especially snook. When the moon is full it's usually better at night for the saltwater. What about bass?

Always had much more success fishing for bass in the early morning. Midday is the hardest to get a bite.

I'm hoping this video ensures us that we will get a video about your preference/thoughts on fishing the late bite, say summer time 4pm to twilight. Might generate some buzz.... eh?

I think during the summer it’s more important to leave early , before sun starts to come up , I found during the spawn and during the winter it’s not very important , summer time fish early in the morning or late in the evening

I’ve never understood that you don’t think early mornin isn’t better. I was out Friday n was absolutely rippin em on topwater. I caught fish up until 1 but first 30 min was really good. I guess certain techniques it just doesn’t matter
