  • We are staying at the Sidney James Mountain Lodge and from our balcony facing the river, two black bears make an up close encounter with us. Always remember that these beautiful animals are still wild and I did keep my distance 🐻 #blackbear #gsmblackbear

      It was an amazing experience, we were able to safely observe these black bears from the balcony of our hotel🥰 What kind of wildlife do you have in the UK?

    Hey y’all. Saw you found our channel. Wow. That is so awesome! As much as we’ve traveled through the mountains, we’ve never been able to spot a bear in the wild. This one looks young. He’s so docile. Thanks for sharing.

      Your welcome!😊 These two bears were behind the Sydney James Mountain Lodge in downtown Gatlinburg. I live here so I get chances to see them all the time.

    Great video, i wouldnt want to get that up close with a bear tbh, keep up the good work Chelsea & family.
    We went blackpool Pleasure beach y'day. I got there went to wipe the SD card.... ARrrrgh the card was still at home!😮😶 I had 2 use the misses iPhone an the back camera dont work, i just took the best shots i could with the selfie camera lol. It was my 36th birthday so it was more enjoyable not vloggin as much, but i myt remove the sound and overlay it with copyright free music, as the play pop songs threwout the park😭

    That bear was looking for a handout from the tourists, glad y'all didn't throw him food. To many stupid people do that not realizing what it does to the bears natural hunting abilities

    He looks sick, but cool you got to see one so close

      He was awfully skinny which did make me sad. The second bear later in the video was healthier looking but watching tourist feed the bears is disheartening.

      Most of the time as long as you respect them, they will respect you. The big cats in the Smoky Mountains would be a much scarier run in 😱😂

      I hope so too, but the tourist staying in these hotels shouldn't be feeding them either it hurts the bears more us

    Is this the same bear when the video stops and starts? Was you throwing food in the water?

    • @TheChildressAdventures
      @TheChildressAdventures  5 лет назад +3

      I believe it was two different bears and no I would be the last person to throw food out to a bear because it hurts them in the end
