    I’m literally the same as you about health anxiety. I feel the slightest bit sick and I panic so much that I make myself feel even more sick and most of the time I get to the point I feel like I’m going to be sick. I have really bad emetophobia too which doesn’t help. I’m always looking for toilets in public places just in case I have to be sick and it’s genuinely stopping me from doing so many things. I don’t know what to do about it anymore. But I hope prom is going amazing for you! 💗

    Talking to someone like a friend or your mam about your thoughts definitely helps. When my anxiety was at its worse my mam suggested to go to the doctors about it, from that I was referred to had a few councelling sessions. I found that by talking to a counciller about how I was felling and anxious situations that I found myself in, they could help me on how to approach them next time and help me understand the way in which my brain analyses these situations. I found that I gained different tips to help me in situations and honestly I'm so glad that I did do it as it helped me so much. Hope this helps xxx :)

    Health anxiety is such a cruel mental illness and so much more awareness is needed of it because it really does ruin lives. I’ve struggled with it my entire life and it still is my biggest battle every single day. It’s so hard to get people to understand because of course everyone worries about getting ill but it is soooo much more than that and it just makes life a living hell. I 100% get how you feel; the rational part in your brain knows there’s nothing serious wrong but sometimes that just isn’t enough to override the anxiety. Please don’t feel like your feelings aren’t valid or that you’re being over dramatic because health anxiety is just as serious as any other mental illness and is not something choose to have. It is traumatic to live with such troubling thoughts on a daily basis. One foot in front of the other is the only way, and if you feel therapy will benefit you then go for it. People have no right to comment on whether you do or don’t need it, they wouldn’t if it was for a physical illness. No one knows your mind but you and what is most important is your happiness.     I suffer from health anxiety too, and honestly I can’t recommend therapy (particularly cbt therapy) enough. It really does work for me and has helped me sooo much with panicky feelings and catastrophic thinking. Also wanted to say thanks for the travel vlogs, I’m loving your content so much! Xx

    I 100% know how you feel regarding health. I had a headache for weeks and convinced myself it was something awful. It transpired it was just a tooth infection and was sorted soon after. I've also had pins and needles when I've overused my hand, carrying something heavy etc. You're not alone with your fears x

    therapy has been great for me, there’s no judgment, they just listen and give advice they don’t try to make you do anything, you explain the problem you’re having and they talk you through it, help you rationalise etc, give it a go if you think you need it! 💞

    I've recently started therapy for anxiety and emetaphobia (still can't spell it lol) and honestly it's the best thing i've ever done. The first session was quite hard and I did spend it crying but ever since I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, I feel so much more calm whereas before I was on edge every second of every day unable to sleep because I was SO terrified of being sick. Honestly definitely something you should consider if you continue to feel like this! also thankyou for speaking about it and being real x

    I’m so glad you expressed all of this in today’s vlog! Finally someone who I can relate to!
    My anxiety has got so bad in the past few years, I have this irrational fear that if I go and do something I will start feeling ill (I have ibs and an intolerance to dairy) and then not be in the situation to get out. Or that someone will have a bug and then I will catch it. I can’t even go on a bus anymore because I am so scared of someone being sick near me and then getting sick myself! I find myself missing out on loads because I feel the slightest twinge in my tummy and I can’t go it’s so hard and has made me lose all of my friends!
    I tried to get help and the doctors put me in a group counselling session which I literally couldn’t stay in for more than 5 minutes because of the fear that someone would be ill or that I couldn’t get out.
    I hope you are able to get some help with how you feel. And thank you for opening up and talking about it! It finally feels like I’m not the only one who understands! Just wish other people and professionals would be able to understand too!

    I totally get you with the anxiety around prom. My sixth form prom is on Saturday, and I don’t have enough money for a nice dress and I pretty much despise my entire year also. I still don’t know whether I’m going to go, but I do hope you have a lovely time, you deserve to let your hair down for a bit x

    I relate to your health anxiety and emetephobia so much and I'm so sorry you're struggling so much. It's awful. I really reccomend CBT therapy to try and tackle your fears and phobias because it's all about retraining the way your mind thinks about a situation ❤️❤️

    I 100% relate, I too have emetophobia and pretty severely to the point where it’s taken over my whole life from since I was about 4 and I have major health anxiety too which doesn’t help! I struggle to leave the house and go to school. That plane situation sounds like my worst nightmare, well done for pushing through though and I hope prom goes well! 💗💗

    Hey Molly, I've had similar issues as you for quite a few years (anxiety, fear of getting sick). Maybe consider talking to your doctor about going on anxiety medication? I'm on Sertraline & I feel it really takes the edge off. Something to think about anyway :) Talking to someone is always a good idea as well of course. Hope you're feeling better & enjoying prom! 💕

    literally sounds like as if i was talking; i have emetaphobia and social & generalised anxiety disorder. the whole panicking which makes me feel sick then panicking even more because i feel sick when i know i'm not gonna be sick. It's such a vicous circle. I'm on medication because it's affected me for years (I literally couldnt leave the house so had to drop out of school and start online school). but I'm currently have CBT Therapy, I highly recommend it, it basically trains your brain to think differently. Something that helped me so much was understanding the panic feeling in a sciencey way. So basically that the adrenaline hormone is not focusing on your digestive system when you're panicking, it focuses on making you stronger (because the adrenaline thinks you're going to fight a tiger or something lol). So because it's not focusing on your digestive system etc it's why we get a nausea symptom from anxiety, same goes for dizziness etc. I also get scared that I'm going to faint, but my therapist (who is an ex nurse) told me it's actually impossible to faint when you're panicking because our blood pressure increases, and to faint, your blood pressure has to be low.       Charlotte Moores I have the exact same thing, it’s so nice to see people talking about emetophobia specifically I feel like it’s so overlooked, my emetophobia evolved into generalised anxiety and it’s so shit 😭

      Sorry to burst your bubble but I'm also a nurse and I have personal experiences too where I've panicked that much I have passed out! All to do with the lack of oxygen to the brain, most people don't actually faint but I'm a fainty person and always have low blood pressure anyway xx

      If you ever feel really faint the best thing to do I put your knees against your chest and your head between them to get the blood flowing to it and deep breathe, or if you can lie flat to equal the blood flow to your brain. Both things work for me xx

    This has got to be one of my favourite videos from you Molly regarding you being so open and honest❤️ from a person who suffers severely from anxiety, I could understand what you were saying and what you were feelinf in the situation (If that makes sense).     I fuckin hate when people are like yeah no one likes feeling ill, coming from an emetephobe myself (im alot better now) I used to avoid certain situations and it would take over my life and I didnt have much fun, I used to not go to my school assemblies because i hated the feeling of not being able to leave and feeling trapped. I have to sit by the door at the front for exams so that I can leave if I need too. Thanks for opening up, and glad ur safe and sound now off the plane xxx

    Hi Molly. First of all I hope you enjoyed prom and I’ve loved your Ibiza blogs. Secondly, I’d highly recommend counselling for your anxiety. I had counselling for a long time as I suffered depression and anxiety from my teen to my early twenties and it was amazing, hence me newly qualifying at a therapist myself. I’d recommend it so much, take care xxx

    I totally I understand how you feel and know how debilitating anxiety about health can be. Seeing a therapist can definitely help and in the mean time there is this online course called This Way Up and you can do a health anxiety course. I don’t know if it will help but just a thought 💓 also if vomit is a fear look up the thrive program and see what you think.     That Plane situation sounds awful! 😩 I don’t even know I would have handled it, I have emetaphobia as well and it’s always the same thoughts as you and it’s always a what if....... what if........ that constantly goes through my head. Before flying I get that, what is I feel sick and can’t get off. It’s a horrible feeling. Stay strong for all of us! 💘💘 Love you 💘💘💘 xxx

    I have bad anxiety and have had therapy in the past and am on tablets and they have all helped massively. But i did suffer with awful health anxiety too, which I didn't do my therapy for as that was for my self esteem. From the age of 10 I would worry that I had cancer to the point where I'd pass out. I'm not half as bad now I manage it pretty well but when I'm going through a rough time I literally cry and convince myself that I'm seriously ill. Being a nurse doesn't help though when you see very I'll 20 year olds 😶 but hope you're ok! I definitely recommend therapy, I may still do some for mine xx

    Molly, I get a really similar rash to the one you get on your face, all over my neck, down my chest and between my boobs a bit...I went to a pharmacist and asked if there was anything they could give me over the counter to try and help it and he suggested an antihistamine cream. It cost something like £3.49 (it’s a own brand one) and it literally cleared up the rash (which has been coming and going for about a year now in about three days! I can’t remember what cream you said you had, it maybe try an antihistamine if you haven’t already...I also use it around my nose where the rash also pops up and it cleared that up quickly as well xxx

    I totally relate to this I have somatoform disorder and it’s horrible. I would question your worries so I’m I am sick what is the worst thing that will happen ? If my leg hurts what is the worst thing that could happen ? Then what would happen if that happened? Therapy is a good idea but you need to feel like u can connect with the therapist to work with them. Also I wouldn’t try medication just as a lot of meds give u side effects of feeling sick so it wouldn’t make much sense xxxxxx

    Type in ‘eft’ on RUclips and there’s so many videos to help calm down anxiety, stress, nervousness etc. It’s helped me calm down my anxiety, so hopefully it can help you too! 💗x

    The same happened to me on a plane back from Mallorca on jet2 and we were on the plane for an hour but then went back to the airport and were delayed for 8 hours😒 hope prom was fun!!

    omg my flight from copenhagen to london on tues was delayed by 19 hours so we had to sleep on the airport floor lollllll, and were basically offloaded from the plane after sitting on it. ryanair is a no from me.

    Molly I really like your vlogs but in every single one I’ve watched recently you are complaining about your skin. You’re a teenager so of course you will have bad skin days but is talking about it in every vlog really necessary? Not hating just feel like you need to be more positive! :)

      grace long well you clearly haven’t experienced anxiety before. That’s really insensitive of you and people experience things different to everyone else, maybe next time you should think about what you’re saying and how it can affect a person.
