I learn something every time I watch one of your videos and this one comes with amazing timing. I’ve been looking for a direct read/jump hour project. I saw that many used a BFG 866 movement so I started learning that caliber (I was heartened by your reply in the comments on my video. Thank you!). This movement you have, humble as it may be, is so much nicer than the BFG. Like so many have stated before, your commentary is superb. Most people really don’t understand how difficult a voiceover can be nor how long it takes to edit the video. Thank you and may your channel see the success it deserves in this new year.

Cute watch. I have a Sheffield pin lever movement digital display that I took down cleaned and rebuilt. It is big on the wrist but a fun watch.

The problem with these is that there is always the possibility of confusion at the "top of the hour" when telling the time.
Which reminds me that I have a very nice jump hour watch languishing in a drawer somewhere,
It is in a plain, but badly scratched, chromed case and it has the best & thickest crystal that I have ever seen on a watch.
I really must try and get it fixed at some point.
As much of a sham it is with its branding, it does have a pretty interesting design.
Other watchmaking channels are $hit. This is my new favourite.
I just got a Jump Hour watch a few weeks ago, but it has a seconds dial and is automatic. It is not running, only for a few seconds from the automatic winding. I just need time to work on it, and I have some other watches before it.
Sounds interesting. So many jump hour watches are cheap pin pallets. I’ve got a soft spot form them now, would like to see how the display works with a seconds register too.

Almost a professional service, not pre-warming your oilers to möbius specific temperatures for optimal capillary action is the only critique I see, 19.34f for 9010 and 18.75f for D5 not forgetting 9504 the only oil that should be chilled prior to use. 🤣🤣🤣😉🍻
