The first review to talk sense about the articulating screen on the 7DII. I don’t shoot video and so all my opinions are based on stills photography, but I have both these cameras and find it hard to compare them as they are totally different beast. The 7DII is all about wildlife for me, effectively bringing your subject closer fast FPS and built like a tank with the extra weatherproofing. The 5DIII is the landscape, portrait, and studio work camera, can that take a fair bit of knocking around. I tend to just use my 5DIII in the studio using the 5DII for landscapes which is purely down to my clumsiness caused by some upper body difficulties. It’s strange that suddenly I've had a few of these reviews reappearing in my recommendations which must all be 3 years old.
I own both of these cameras and I can sum them up pretty easily. If you shoot weddings/photoshoots etc where IQ needs to be the key factor then the 5DIII is what you want, if you mainly fast action stuff then the 7DII AF & shooting is 2nd to none for the price and still gives acceptable IQ - if you want top IQ & fast action then buy a 1DX. I am disappointed that this comparision (like every other review on the 7DII) failed to mention the change to the light meter where in M mode the light meter disappears off the top LCD & from the bottom of the viewfinder and is instead moved up the right hand edge of the viewfinder. I, and many other people I have spoken to hate this feature and hope Canon fix it ASAP but its shocking that none of the reviews have felt it important enough to mention
You make it sound like a missing feature…that has actually always been present in the 1Dx. It's a change. Takes a learning curve, that's all. No reason for Canon to "fix" anything.
Razvan Boroda - its a change that makes no sense. Anyone upgrading from the 7d (or any other model) that has become used to viewing the light meter light that is going to be confused for a while, it would make some sense if in other modes the exp compensation was up the edge as well but its only in 1 mode, or if in M the void left by the light meter was filled with other useful information but it isnt its just left with a black void. I already own 2x 5DIIIs and got this as a sports camera because the controls where so identical that it would be second nature but thats now a little trickier. And no-one seems to be able to pinpoint what the advantage of having it is
Dave McKeegan A Canon 1Dx would have turned this "upsetting" feature into a second nature as well. "No-one seems to be able to pinpoint what the advantage of having it is" - because the advantage is fairly obvious. I agree the void in Manual mode could have been filled with useful info, such as exposure compensation as is in all semi-automatic modes, and I can only hope the glitch will be fixed with a firmware update. But it's not nearly as bad as you;re trying to make it look IMHO.
Razvan Boroda - except as the 1DX is a completely different layout camera then you expect everything to be different. Could you enlighten me what the advantage of moving the light meter to up the side of the screen in a single mode then - because to me it seems more logical to keep it along the bottom where your eye is naturally drawn to by all the other info such as shutter, iso & f-stop ... instead of now having to look at the bottom to see the settings and then look over to the right to check the light meter ...... I know its not the end of the world, the camera is still a great performer but its a rather big annoyance that no reviews have bothered to mention and I've spoke to dozens of people who have been caught out by this change as well so I'm hoping Canon have the logic to change it
Dave McKeegan The natural filed of view of the eye is only about 3 degrees, so basically, either you look down at the bottom of the viewfinder or to the right of it, you're still taking your eye from the scene you're shooting. As for the advantage of the light meter to the right, it's combined with the flash compensation indicator, and leaves room at the bottom of the viewfinder for the exposure compensation indicator, which now is visible at all times, and much easier to modify, EXCEPT in Manual mode (needs fixing indeed). That's the way I see it. Of course it comes as a surprise for most Canon users. I remember my frustration with Canon after switching from Nikon… I've learned to use Canon and that was it. Like I said, it's a learning curve, it takes time. If you think it's not for you, stick with the 5D3 and wait for the 5D4.
I have to be honest. Even though at the time of purchase, I could have picked up the 5D Mark III, but I still went with the 7D Mark II. Obviously my 7D was much less expensive in comparison to the 5D at the time. I know some people may disagree, but I don't think 20.2mp vs 22.3mp is going to matter as much. However, having a full frame sensor on the 5D is certainly a nice feature, versus the crop sensor on my 7D. I still liked the fact that my 7D would shoot 10 fps in rapid shutter mode, versus 6 fps with the 5D. That's a much bigger deal to me, plus the larger lifespan. 7D Mk2!!!
Nice review and appreciated the real life examples of the two cameras being reviewed. You kept the material moving without any corny jokes, included good photo examples, key differences of the cameras, nice video presentation and finally you don't have an annoying voice. :) Keep up the good work.
You forgot to mention that the 7D mk 2 has a very useful and very good Pop up flash (good for a Pop up) for fill in flash, or if you want to make the colours pop in outdoor portraits etc. Something not available on full frame jobs. It would be interesting to see if anyone could actually tell what was taken with which camera looking at prints, no one I bet.
My main use for the camera would be shooting wildlife ...Birds etc.... Which camera do you feel would best suit my needs? Also thanks tons for a great review!!
MW Technology , Hi great video comparison! quick question. What are your export settings for youtube, assuming you use Premiere Pro. Your video quality is very clean and the information would definitely help someone like me who is trying to upload professional looking videos as the one on your channel. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon! (if you choose CBR or VBR2, the mbps you use, and whatever else may help)
I'm currently using 600D and would like to upgrade now. My primary use would be product/food photography + wedding and family functions (90%), landscape + travel +wildlife (10%) Request to please suggest better option!!
I had the 7D which was an awesome camera. I was torn between the 7D II vs the 5D III. I finally made the jump and got the 5D III, instead. I have now used it for about 2 weeks and I LOVE the image quality I am getting from the 5D III. I mainly shoot real estate and wildlife and I am loving it, though I am not getting enough reach when it comes to wildlife photography. The only thing I don't like about the 5D III, nay, two things, is that first, it is very loud and secondly, it has lower FPS, which means I get to miss some shots.
I have a 7D since 2012 and I love it too, I jump to a 5D3 1 month ago and I use it all the time, the 7D is the backup now. I'm thinking to upgrade to a 7D2 to sports. I don't know.
I had my 7D from 2011. I am also contemplating getting the 7D II. I tried it and loved it as well. Now that I got some quality glass, I think I will get it.
I just bought a 7D m II for about 340 $ and I was eager to know, if I should by a 5D m III as second camera, for stills and wide-angle photography, besides it is always better to have 2 bodies anyway. This video was definitely excellent for making up a decision. I am so impressed with the 7D m ii, it's excellent and with the price tag mirrorless cameras have these days, I don't see at all, that I need anything more than this. (RUclips vids, using 4 k ????). One thing I love about it is the ruggedness, this is really outstanding. So even if it's 8 years later, this vid was extremely helpful for me. Thank You so much. Roland from good old Germany
What a great review. I currently own the 60d plus a few EF-S lenses so a consideration for me would be the loss of use of these lenses if I chose the full frame 5d over the crop sensor 7d. In addition, considering the cost differential, the fps speed, and the life expectancy, the poorer low light capability is a small price to pay for the 7d mark ii.
I just upgraded my old 20D (sentimental reasons had me holding onto it); and these two bodies were the ones I narrowed it down to. I went with the 7D & am VERY pleased in wildlife photography & desired the superior focusing system of the 7D & FPS rate. Whilst I do envy the better low-light performance of the 5D, the 7D build is more rugged & the MUCH lower price point of the 7D was just to good to pass up! I'll look into full-frame later, I'm sure but the 7D if you've got great glass & want to do Nature & Sports photos- IMHO it's the better pick for sure.
They are 2 entirely different cameras so it's an unusual comparison. Depending upon the nature of your work there are 2 clear winners: 1) Sports / Wildlife - 7D Mk2 Clear Winner It's fast, rugged, 1.6x crop gives you extra reach. It was designed for Sports & Wildlife. 2) Portraits / Weddings / Landscapes / "Movie quality" video - 5D Mk3 Clear Winner It has great low-light performance, shallow depth of field and a "Filmic" look. Magic Lantern firmware is well-developed for the 5D. If you aren't sure what your needs are then I'd go for an 80D personally. It's Canon's best "all-rounder" at such a good price.
I bought a 7d Mk2 and often thought if I'd done right compared with the 5d Mk3 - watching your video I think i have made the right choice - full frame isn't that important to me and the 7d is a remarkable camera and it is cheaper. The 5d also only takes ef lenses where the 7d takes both------ good preview thankyou
Excellent comparisons, very informative and love the live examples. You've helped me a lot. I'm hoping to find a 7D MarkII on sale sometime this holiday season. Haven't yet, but even if I don't, you have helped me decide on that camera. Thank you!
I've been looking to upgrade from my Rebel T3i, which has been a wonderful workhorse for me, but just isn't up to the job I need it for anymore. I've narrowed my choices down to these two cameras, with this review essentially echoing what I've been seeing online. If you want to do video, the 7D II is definitely the way to go, getting a solid still camera in the bargain. But for dedicated still photography, it looks worth the extra $900 to step up to the 5D III. I'm also upgrading my stock EF 75-300mm f4-5.6 III telephoto lens for the EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS telephoto lens. Can't wait to see the improvement! Thanks for your help!
Love your reviews. I am trying to decide between the 6D and the 5D Mark III. Just wondering if you have a review comparing both of these cameras? I do model shoots indoors in low/natural light and also outdoors. I also like to shoot wildlife and sometimes sport. Mainly model shoots. I understand 6D is way less expensive than 5D Mark III. I need a full frame camera because of shooting in low/natural light. Money of course as is the case for most people is always an issue. If you were me which of these 2 cameras would you choose? Thanks
Original I bought a new 7dII when it was released and a used 5dIII 2019. I like them both, especially the nearly same menue/buttoms. In my comparison test, the 5dII sometimes wins, sometimes the 7dII, without it being due to a special situation like sports. I like the wider autofocus coverage of the 7dII and the exposure compensation in M-Mode AutoIso.
I purchased the 7D mark II for shooting football, baseball, hockey and other fast moving games. I started by using the Canon T-3 aka:1100D and had good results. But when I saw this baby, I just had to have it. I use the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 for indoor and under the lights outside for night games. I also use the Sigma 150-500mm f5.0/6.3 for daylight shooting of action sports.
I have a 6d and a 7d (both mk1) .I am thinking of getting of getting one of these two as an upgrade . I am happy with the 6d in terms of image quallty , and as I use it mostly for landscapes and portraiture, its lack of focus points and poor focus tracking isn't such a big problem. I am leaning toward the 7d mk2 for its auto focus system and better low light /hi ISO image quality compered to my classic 7d. This is a tough decision .
great video on the 2, despite the 7D coming out 2 years later it looks like the 5D is sharper and that's where I would go as I am a wildlife photographer and it is a crop sensor which is nice as 90% of the time we are all cropping as it is.
Great and useful review. Saves me a lot of time by watching and listening rather than reading haha looking to get my next canon body but was unsure if I wanted to risk not jumping to full frame. This review helped put my mind at ease haha
Same question as below, I focus mainly on family portraits and children, would the 5d mark iii be good for the choice to pick? I really love the great review, it has helped tremendously edging me more to do the 5d mark ii, I just would like your imput!
Best video ever for the comparison. I wasn't sure to take the 7D or the 5D and in fact all depend of what you want to do with it. If you like interior portraits will low light you have to take the 5d. But if you like videos, the 7D will do the job. So, all depend of what you like to shot. On my side I like to do portraits, (I even do shots of my collectibles) and landscapes, and videos... SO I will maybe take the 7D because his panel seems to be larger...
once you go full frame you can't go back. 7dmkii is nice (i went from 7d [i] to 5dmkiii) but full frame is just awesome. built in flash is some value on 7d but without being able to angle it makes it more limited and i got a tiny ex270 for my 5dmkiii which is just excellent for basic needs.
I am saving for the 7D mk ii as a upgrade to my T3I, I chose it due to it's price tag and my style of shooting, I thing for an all rounder nonprofessional (advanced enthusiast) it's a great compromise. I don't get paid to take photos so I can't justify $4000.00 for a camera at this point in time.
Wouldn't a 7D be more reasonable? If you're not a paid professional, then I highly doubt you need the Mark ii's features. Besides, if you're worried about price, then why not get the 7D? Its cheap and still an excellent camera! And before you start thinking its not good enough, just think - If that's the case, then why was it such a popular camera amongst paid professionals?
Shadowcloud1 I agree with the purchasing of the 7D MK I, however, I prefer not to buy used electronics and the tech is 5 yrs old, Finding a new (unused) one around me (if one can be found) will still cost $1700.00, from Henry's Camera.Aden Camera sells new body only for $1200.00, so you see for me I would rather pay the little extra for a brand new camera with current technology. I don't have an issue paying $2000.00 for a camera where I might be able to sell some images here and there but the majority of my photography is done for my pleasure. Thank you for your repy.
Gerald Knauss I got the 7DMKII as an upgrade from a rebel t4i it's insane how much better the quality is, you're going to love it. also one small and major upgrade is the shutter button. It's much smoother. The rebels and even 70d have this harsh click when you press. 7DMKII is so soft. I could go on but ENJOY!! YOU'LL LOVE IT!
chun wei Hsu 5Dmk3 is amazing body and its worth every penny I would not get another other body for shooting I do weddings so 5Dmk3 is a perfect body for me unless in some places I wish I had the 1DX at hand for the bigger iso ect at 204,000 ISO :D amazing for low low light photos
Cropped sensors using the L lenses give you more "reach". So if you are a sports or wildlife photographer, a 400 mm L lens gets you 600mm close. You can use L lenses on both cameras but APS-C lenses don't work well on full frame bodies. Both 7D and 5D will autofocus when you use a teleconverter. I work with the 7D mkII with a 1.4 teleconverter and the 100-400mm L mkII lens. Relatively light weight but a huge advantage in reach. Also, you did not get into how quickly the cameras can focus. I've used both models with the same lens setup and it seems I can achieve focus faster with the 7D. That's just my experience shooting birds in flight.
I have the 7D. Have had it since it came out. I love the camera, but for video it only shoots in 720p and has no auto focus. I have to say, however my Samsung Galaxy 8 takes great video around the house and on vacation, but I do have several thousand dollars wrapped up in L series lenses and hate to see them not get used. I want the MK II so I can hopefully revive my pro camera set up. Thanks for the great review.
personally i use the t3 for sports and action shots but the processing is slow the 5d mark 3 is my favorite for everything else and in my opinion the best camera cannon makes
I have been thinking of adding another camera to my hobby. It is a toss up between the 5D mark 111 and the 7D mark 11 I like to take wild life. Birds are my favorite, especially in flight. I also take sports pictures in arena setting for which good low light capacity is important. The 5D I know is good for low light. Just wondering it's capacity for doing rapidity shooting compared to the 7D mark11 in that same conditions.
If you are using a high quality lens, and I emphasize high quality (eg 16-35/f4), then there is no perceptible difference in still picture quality between the two at lowers ISOs. With really high quality lenses (100-400 II), the 7d2 might even produce higher quality photos than the 5d3, as bird photographer Art Wolf discovered. Unless you want to shoot very low light most of the time, pass over the 5d3. It's yesterday's camera.
Yes that's exactly what I'm thinking .. I love the video capabilities of the 70d .. Wi fi .. Articulated screen ect . But I need to upgrade to a 5D mk IIl after reading thousands of reviews .. Think I know all its capabilities from all these different reviews.. Mainly for its full frame .. Low light performance .. And focusing .
Just got a 7D Mark 2 last week tomorrow will arrive, I picked it because the price got it for $1200 great deal new of course just got to find some good lens for it. That is the only reason why I got it I think its really not much of a difference in quality of course 5d is better but not for what I need and to pay an extra grand for a bigger sensor is not worth it to me.
12 seconds into the video... is that the Sigma 18-35 1.8 mounted on the 5D MkIII? I've heard that it will fit just fine and work on the long end of the zoom range, but isn't that a crop sensor lens?
Have the original 7D for wildlife & a 5D 3 for portraits and landscapes- have found that given decent light and with Lightroom software the noise issue re the 7D can be overstated. Suppose if you require the extra gizmos then the 7D 2 is a worthwhile investment but otherwise buy the now price reduced 7D and purchase L glass with the money saved - a good lens is a lifelong friend.
great review....!! what do you suggest, for documentaries where one has to do a lot of hand held shoot, it would be better to opt for canon 7d because of its rich video features...but compromise a little by not having a full frame sensor which you will get if you go for 5d mark III?
Great video, shame your side by side comparisons aren’t side by side, it was very difficult to see the differences but overall I found the video very helpful
I am now a 7Dii ow er after owning a 7D original for 8 years. When the 7Dii came out it was not enough of an upgrade to warrant me spend my hard earn money. On which was canon's version of iPhone 4 to New iPhone 4S ! My 7Dii was a used purchased recently as the new retail price apx 5 years ago is too much money for what is really canons iPhone 4S model !
Ithink video quality are same but 5d mark iii images are so sharp and in low light as well and 7d mark ii have a great job in fast auto focus and great video as well
If I wanted specifically for macro shooting, outdoors (birds, flowers, landscapes)... shooting my cats in the home, and shooting around NYC... what would you recommend?
I have a 7D Mk 1 and am unsure if i will upgrade, might buy a mirrorless camera a Sony a6000 or similar. Not getting much of a trade in price for the older 7D.
Great review.. Could you please tell me one thing that if I use the full frame lenses on crop sensor body would I be able to get that amount of sharp result which I would get on a full frame body? For example 70-200 lens on 70D and 6D..
Yes. You get the good quality images. But due to crop sensor, the wide aperture of the lens also gets multiplied by 1.6x times. You don't get that super shallow dof which 70-200mm f/2.8 gives at its wider aperture.
I've got a choice between the following... I'm currently using a 200d and use it for portraiture, landscape, wildlife and sports photography. Whilst it's good, I feel the need to upgrade and I'm torn between the two models in this video. I can either get a used 5d m3 for £600 with 100,000 shutter count Or Used 7d m2 for £700 with 15,000 shutter count. Which should I go for, please help 😂🙈
Regarding the ISO test on the 5Diii; did you ETTR and pulled the exposure down in post?! coz i have the 5Diii and its never that clean in low light!!! (right out of camera)
this is kind of an unfare comparrison because they are made for different purposes. What one you should get completely relies on your purpose, allthough they can both be used for the same thing and vice versa the reason the mk iii doesnt have high fps rate is simply it really doesnt need 10fps when shooting portraits, street, architechture etc but when you are out in the wild or at sporting events you do need high fps or you will miss the moment. I dont know but these cameras are for different purposes. Just depends on what you need it for.
great review FPS doesn't mean anything if you have a slow buffer to keep up with. about a comparison between the two cameras when it come to buffer please thank you

I have both cameras but I always use the 7D and, frankly, I cant make any difference in the photo quality because I never use extreme ISO settings
I own both of these cameras and I can sum them up pretty easily. if i was to choose a canon dslr to buy right now, i would choose the 7d mk2, this thing just hits the sweet spot for me.

You mean you regretted it?
Was the transition positive?
just bought the 7d should be here next week, can't wait

Ha ha! Good point…on the voice.
I know EXACTLY who you are talking about... lol

Definitely 7D Mark2
I'm just gonna get both, I want to use them for different things and each trip I go on requires something different
2:28 he said compared to 61 points compared to 5d mark ii, emm, 5d mark ii has only like 9 I think lol.

why canon stop make aps-h sensor? =( if 7d-II was on crop 1.3, i think he kill them all!
I'm currently using 600D and would like to upgrade now. My primary use would be product/food photography + wedding and family functions (90%), landscape + travel +wildlife (10%)

sachin shirodkar did you buy anything? I'm eating for the 5d mark iii price to go slightly lower.

Yes, may be, or get some more L lenses :) hahaha
Thank you for making this review. This was a very down-to-earth clear and not too long comparison.
Thanks! One of the best comparison videos out there. Answered all my questions!
love my 7 D mark 2
thanks for the great video comparisons, you are one of the only reviewers who has done this thorough of a video review.
Have used the 5d3 for almost 4 year now and still loving it. I dont plan to change body for a long time.
They are 2 entirely different cameras so it's an unusual comparison. Depending upon the nature of your work there are 2 clear winners:
1) Sports / Wildlife - 7D Mk2 Clear Winner
It's fast, rugged, 1.6x crop gives you extra reach. It was designed for Sports & Wildlife.
2) Portraits / Weddings / Landscapes / "Movie quality" video - 5D Mk3 Clear Winner
It has great low-light performance, shallow depth of field and a "Filmic" look.
Magic Lantern firmware is well-developed for the 5D.
If you aren't sure what your needs are then I'd go for an 80D personally. It's Canon's best "all-rounder" at such a good price.
i love you. I got the 7d mark ii and I love it soooo much.
Thank you!
Great review! This kind of sealed the deal for me...The 5D Mark III it is!
Thanks
5d takes better photos in my opinion. Texture, cinematic look and feel to the photos, clarity, sharpness, colours etc.
Thanks for the awesome comparison video! As someone who's trying to pick out a camera for school this made my decision much easier.
Excellent review. Pointed out a few things about the 7DII that I didn't really consider such as the intervalometer, AF mode lever, and USB 3.0
I am currently using the t3. did you find there was a significant upgrade between the 2 cameras?
Great comparison. I currently shoot with the 7D and was looking to upgrade.
Very well done comparison man. Appreciate it a lot, cut a lot of time off my research. Thanks!
now it's 2017. 5d mk3 still superior??
Great and useful review. Saves me a lot of time by watching and listening rather than reading haha looking to get my next canon body but was unsure if I wanted to risk not jumping to full frame. This review helped put my mind at ease haha
Same question as below, I focus mainly on family portraits and children, would the 5d mark iii be good for the choice to pick?
I really love the great review, it has helped tremendously edging me more to do the 5d mark ii, I just would like your imput!
Keep up the good work MW Tech, good review !👍
Get the 7D II, see www.dpreview.com/previews/canon-eos-7d-mark-ii . I'm up-grading from my beloved T2i to a 7D II soon, and can't wait.
Gerald Knauss I got the 7DMKII as an upgrade from a rebel t4i
it's insane how much better the quality is, you're going to love it. also one small and major upgrade is the shutter button. It's much smoother. The rebels and even 70d have this harsh click when you press. 7DMKII is so soft.
I could go on but ENJOY!! YOU'LL LOVE IT!
Shutter button is a major upgrade? Never heard that one before
Great review!! What do you suggest the 6D vs the 7D MkII?
I have a 70d and a 6d. Will be getting the 7dmkii next. Looks an incredible camera.
Bought a 5D3 kit just last month cost me $2500, I don't think I need any upgrade for the next 5 year
chun wei Hsu 5Dmk3 is amazing body and its worth every penny I would not get another other body for shooting I do weddings so 5Dmk3 is a perfect body for me unless in some places I wish I had the 1DX at hand for the bigger iso ect at 204,000 ISO :D amazing for low low light photos
Brilliant comparison! Thank you. I hope to be getting a 7D MK2 for video work and this really helped! Thanks
I love your backlight action figure/starship enterprise subjects. Look cool...
Thanks for providing this comparison video!
Very common-sense and usable comparison....good job! I have decided I need the 7D mk2..... The Video features vs price is the deciding factor.
That's just my experience shooting birds in flight.
i am going for the 7D mark 2...thank you very much
I have the 7D.
Great comparison as we have both cameras. Only suggestion, talk a wee bit slower.
Fantastic review!
Hadn't seen such a complete one b4.
Great video, definitely helped me make my decision on which one I want, cheers!
personally i use the t3 for sports and action shots but the processing is slow the 5d mark 3 is my favorite for everything else and in my opinion the best camera cannon makes
I have been thinking of adding another camera to my hobby. It is a toss up between the 5D mark 111 and the 7D mark 11
I like to take wild life. Birds are my favorite, especially in flight. I also take sports pictures in arena setting for which good low light capacity is important. The 5D I know is good for low light. Just wondering it's capacity for doing rapidity shooting compared to the 7D mark11 in that same conditions.
it seems for wildlife, the 7d mkii would be the way to go, as it has more reach, and super fast AF.
cant believe its been 3 1/2 years when the mark 3 came out.
Great review mate! Thanks for the tips
Great review and comparisons...thank you!
Excellent comparison and review!
Excellent review!
Fantastic review my friend!
12 seconds into the video... is that the Sigma 18-35 1.8 mounted on the 5D MkIII? I've heard that it will fit just fine and work on the long end of the zoom range, but isn't that a crop sensor lens?
Thomas Hiura it does have vignetting, but is still an amazing and usable lens. paired with the 5d3 is awesome.
I can`t decide between the 5d mark iii and d810. the dynamic range I heard is the same at 800 iso and above, but superb on below to the d810.
Excellent review/comparison. Definitely know more and helped me choose
Thanks for this video, great job man!
great review....!! what do you suggest, for documentaries where one has to do a lot of hand held shoot, it would be better to opt for canon 7d because of its rich video features...but compromise a little by not having a full frame sensor which you will get if you go for 5d mark III?
Great video, shame your side by side comparisons aren’t side by side, it was very difficult to see the differences but overall I found the video very helpful
I am now a 7Dii ow er after owning a 7D original for 8 years. When the 7Dii came out it was not enough of an upgrade to warrant me spend my hard earn money. On which was canon's version of iPhone 4 to New iPhone 4S !
My 7Dii was a used purchased recently as the new retail price apx 5 years ago is too much money for what is really canons iPhone 4S model !
7Dii for sports. 6Dii for everything else.
Good job explaining 👏
great review. i'll hang on to my 6D for now
I am looking to purchase a new Canon DSLR and this video was very helpful. Thanks!
Great video! Thank you so much for this review!!!
Awesome review, both are some beautiful cameras!
Am about to buy a canon camera but am confused between 7d mark ii,and D5 mark three, which one is really more better?
I have used both and like both very much so. Very very good review. Thank you! You do a great job!
I've got a choice between the following...
I'm currently using a 200d and use it for portraiture, landscape, wildlife and sports photography.
Whilst it's good, I feel the need to upgrade and I'm torn between the two models in this video.
I can either get a used 5d m3 for £600 with 100,000 shutter count
Or
Used 7d m2 for £700 with 15,000 shutter count.
Which should I go for, please help 😂🙈
Great video, even in 2019. Thank you very much!!
0:00 what?
Good review. If u could also tell about percentage of images that are in focus while tracking subjects.
Awesome review man.
great review you helped me decide.
What is the ISO limit that you would go in low light situations in 7Dii? for professional work?
great review
FPS doesn't mean anything if you have a slow buffer to keep up with.
about a comparison between the two cameras when it come to buffer please
thank you
Very good review. Thanks!
