My favorite moment from this episode had to be when Seelkdoom was released. He just shows up and immediately is in control of the whole situation. Even Mecha Sonic is stunned by his sheer appearance. I’m definitely excited to see what happens next.

Like Knuckles said, it’s a fighting tournament, and you will get hurt. And Shadow didn’t break any rules.

For those who don't know, those are jeff and hal from another Newgrounds Sprite series: Bowser's Kingdom. Fitting how they're one of the only characters to talk without the need of speech bubbles or text and regularly speak.

@@SonikkuZ They've even made an appearance in Episode 7 of SMBZ, when they're squashed by Wario and Waluigi. Also in Episode 8 of Bowser's Kingdom, there's a scene where Jeff (The goomba) swallows a chaos emerald and actually puts up a fight against mecha. Safe to say, their inclusion in SASB makes sense
Scourge had a cool entrance and love dark sonic showing up.
Scourge is as strong as he is because he absorbed the direct energy of the master emerald, and even before this he was already superior to Sonic is every way including raw speed, strength, agility and durability.
I’m also glad to see that this series is going to two more into the lure of dark sonic and that version of sonic, possibly a fleetway return?!
Sega has already said that all canons are canon for Sonic. Including the fan one’s. And we know that dark sonic is practically the negative energy formed within sonic which gives him his maximum output and instincts brought forth to the surface.
I also love that shadow was highlighted in this episode alongside Mario showing the totem pole of power very well, can’t wait to see more on this deliverance and I AM WAITING TO SEE FIRE SONIC MAKE A RETURN.
Sega never said anything about fan made material being canon and the statement about everything canon has been debunked multiple times
