- In this video, I show you how to make a very easy infinite string farm that gives a lot of string and doesn't require a lot of recourses!
This tutorial shows you how to make an EASY Infinite String Farm In Minecraft 1.20, but it also works on older versions! With this farm, you can get tons of string in Minecraft. This is an infinite string farm. You can build this in survival.

when you say ‘now shear the string’ i do but it breaks it? yours didn’t break…
Shears
The fletcher gives you the same of emeralds for like 15 string
But u can use the string to make wool for beds to get ancient debris
What does "now shears on string" mean? when i have shears in hand and right click nothing happens. if i left click then it just clicks the string. Any idea what i am doing wrong?
If you left click on the string with the shear the farm should work

Nice farm... Good for getting emeralds early to even mid game if you get a bunch of villagers in that area + u can use the auto crafting table after the update to craft wool making an easy infinite fuel source for an auto smelter

For me it’s not working but idk I have it faced the right way but my trap doors do not stop the water so idk
can get it to work in single player but not on paper server 1.20+

It might not work on your first try, always make sure to try again! Very good farm and also make sure you check your directions and drag the video back if you need!

Bro Strings Getting Broke When I On Lever
Why my farm doesn’t work i did everything you said faced in correct direction but as soon as i turned the lever on the string broke and nothing happened if it helps im playing on 1.20.4
You need to left click with a shear on the string before you start the farm

Works in fabric 1.20.4
If you want, you can remove the lever and place a block ontop of the other trap door then run redstone dust across those blocks with a lever at the end. Makes it more convenient being able to use the lever inside of a cave.
