This channel is so underated! The editorial quality (length to content ratio, order, editing, etc.) is absolutely top notch and you two guys are amazing. Whish you all the best from germany and hundreds of thousands of subscribtions!
Wait a minute! You're telling me that you did your first solo at 9 HOURS, you landed ON THE CENTERLINE, AND ON THE THOUSAND FOOTERS?!?!?! WOW!!! Great job Tony!!
Do you still have a seperate full time job? I have a similar story/background, undergrad, grad, marriage, kids. But i still dream of flying. How hard is it to maintain a 40hr job and fly as a hobby? Or do you use flying as a second job?
Hey Tony I wanted to know if you need a bachelors degree to become an airline pilot or if flight school and other jobs after that will qualify you for an airline job?
I Don’t feel bad, I soloed at 13 hrs. In rest retrospect soloing with low hrs. Does not represent vast knowledge that you would need in situation not you may not be familiar with. I’m not a fan of early solo. ‘
Love it! Congrats! I have a similar story as you in terms of life getting in the way. At 53 years old, here was my first solo flight: ruclips.net/video/8toM9khXJCQ/видео.html Preparing for my checkride either this month or next month -weather permitting (Covid kind of put a slow down on it all.)
Congratulations 👏 🎉 👏 My father was in the Navy. He would take us to all the airshows where we would watch the Blue Angels. He knew several pilots and the pilots would take my brother and I and let us sit in the cockpits of many military planes.
