I know this is an older video, but I was scrolling Christmas cards and this one stopped me in my tracks! It’s stunning. The color, the snowflakes and the application. What a great card. I’m definitely giving this a try with the snowflakes I have. Thank you Helen for doing this video.

Thank you so much, Helen, for giving us so many "classy" rather than cute cards. Male card makers such as myself aren't really into making cards that are so obviously for children. Many of your cards are easy to copy or create from, yet are very elegant to send.

What an unusual technique, Helen. When I saw the photo of the card I thought you had just stuck the purple snowflakes on to the white card. It's really lovely. Ruth down under.

I just watched my first video by you last evening. I had been doing a search on Pinterest and a card of yours popped up. My oh my...I don't know how I haven't heard more about you and your wonderful creations! I'm hooked...lol! I subscribed to your blog last night. What a wonderful blog you have! And now I'm subscribing to your RUclips channel. Please, please continue to share your gift of creation with all of us. This card is so lovely. I have a set of snowflake die cuts that I've not done much with. This is very inspiring to me. However, I am done with making my Christmas cards for this year...but I'll be certain to do this next year. I take away technique ideas from my favorite card creators to use year round. I learn wonderful techniques and put them to use with other die cuts...and my Cricut die cut machine to create my own things. I learned something new here. I love how you glued your die cut layer onto the glitter BEFORE removing the die cut. How ingenious you are! Really...even though the large die cut is very intricate...you managed to do it! Brilliant! I will be doing that from now on. I just made some cards with glitter paper in the background...wish I had watched this video beforehand! lol. I will be occupying some of my spare moments perusing your blog. There are some gorgeous, beautiful cards on there! Thank you for sharing with the world! May you have a very Merry Christmas. Look forward to seeing what you create in this new year of 2018!!

I started out cardmaking about 7 years ago as time went on I started scrapbooking and now I love mixed media but i have really been missing doing cards. I have been trying to do more lately. I can not wait to binge watch your videos. Thank you for sharing your takent!
Tiffany I have just recently discovered mixed media and been having a go at some of that style of cards, want to try some canvases but me and my us and do vintage and shabby chic crafts to sell, as well as both work full time, our Facebook page avintagetouch16/Facebook, I haven't videoed any of that, so might have to put the mixed media canvases on a back burner, can't do everything lol. Thanks for doing 'the getting started with RUclips', they are very informative.

I just watched your video here for the first time and was awe-struck. Was also very happy to see a different way to use this die set. It is one we have and have yet to use it although on one card. I absolutely love the end result thank you so much for sharing.

Lovely card Helen! Clever idea with keeping the snowflakes in the die to glue them down. When I first saw the card I wondered whether you had embossed the card and somehow did the letter press technique with glue and sprinkled glitter onto. It is very cleverly done and I think the purple is great. It's been such a blessing to get to know you better after looking at your beautiful cards for years, and your videos are something to look forward to each week. Like the idea of using the squared paper to line it up Helen, I may have used pearl drops of something in the middle on the smaller ones not the small paper parts but it’s still lovely more inspired every video

There is a saran wrap(sticky back bowl cover) that you can use as a transfer paper which would make this much easier. Beautiful card will add to my list..
I have used press and seal on other cards in my videos, to be honest, I just didn't think of it at the time in this one, I didn't realise it was going to be so fiddly. But thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you Reva, definitely try this with other dies, you will still get beautiful results, as I think the beauty of this card is in the positive and negative use of the die cuts. I only try and give the ideas that people can use what they have at home already to get similar results, I don't think we need to keep buying more and more. merry Christmas from New Zealand.
