    so glad to see you are back. big question please: have you seen or heard of any airline making special accommodations for employees with disabilities both physical and mental? if so, do you know if they accomodate employees for number of hours that they must work, the bidding process, etc.? thank you!

    How do you become “seasonal”?

    Hey Bohemian Traveler! I'll never forget when I commented on one of your videos about being a ramp agent back in 2019 and you were of great assistance! That was my first ever job here in El Paso or I still live. I was only there for a few months and then I became a cabin cleaner with ABM that's contracted with Southwest (my favorite airline) for about a year and a half just before the pandemic in March 2020 up until September 2021. Now I'm working as a ground transportation monitor since July 2022 at ELP.
    As of a couple of days ago, I received an email from Delta stating that they're inviting me to an interview for the same position you're talking about, a seasonal ticket/gate agent! I forgot I had applied for it back in April. I'm really excited because I know I can officially get my foot in the door with the airlines, as well as a lot of benefits. You answered a lot of questions in this video. However, I was surprised that there's no health insurance for the seasonal position if I heard correctly. By the way, how is the PAT? Any other advice or tips you'd like to share? Thank you so much for the video, they're so helpful!

      Congratulations on your interview! For the Pat test, just make sure that you are able to pick up every weight. Do not stop until you finish picking everything up. No health insurance because you are not going to be working that many hours. I really hope you get it! Let me know how it went.🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️

    Thank you for posting! I found and started to follow your channel a few months ago once I learned that you were doing seasonal! I'm glad you are back! I applied for EWR (in Feb) and JFK (end of March) seasonal and my application has been sitting in review. Would love LGA since it's the closest of the 3 for me but haven't seen it posted. I just saw on one of your replies here that when you first applied it took you four months to hear back. I'm being patient of course 😊 Excited you are posting again, Thank you.

    What's transferring like for United? My brother is a dispatcher for UGE trying to transfer to Las Vegas he's currently based in Colorado.
    They've been giving him the run around, they said transferring to one of the hubs like Chicago or San Diego are more realistic.
    Is this true more or less....

    • @TheBohemianTraveler
      @TheBohemianTraveler  4 месяца назад

      @@702TifosiGambler when I worked there, it wasn’t a transfer, it was applying to a brand new company. As long as there are openings he should be able to apply in LAS. I think they say places like ORD are easier to get because of the large number of employees they hire. Good luck to your brother!! I wish him the best.🙏🏾❤️

    Glad to hear all is going well with you. I always like to keep up with the aviation people I follow. Question for you, how long did you wait to hear back from Delta when you applied for seasonal? I have anxiously been awaiting to hear from them since I applied at my home airport mid April but UA is beating them and getting back to me quicker. I really want seasonal though with my schedule (UA is PT though so not bad).

      Congratulations on UA! I think it took a couple of weeks for me to hear back. But the first time I applied, it took four months to hear back.
