the collar being underneath the armour instead of on top is a small but noticeable error, i’m glad it’s being fixed. For this guide i would put a scarf on to fill in that next space and give a similar feel even if it isn’t exactly alike
That is a fair suggestion. That could be a small improvement here.
That´s true and wrong at the same time. What is put OVER the armor is the aventail, which is an integral part of the helmet, and that is something that KCD did wrong.
However, underneath the armor you indeed put a mail neck collar, the reason as to why is because if you didn´t use that and an enemy weapon gets underneath your helmet´s aventail, that weapon would cut your neck.
In this video of Ian LaSpina you can see how it is properly done, starting in the minute 2:33 you can crearly see the mail neck collar being used, then he puts the cuirass, and then the helmet:

However, in that photo of Henry from KCD: 2 they also screwed it, he is using the aventail of the helmet without it, which makes no sense.
The armor looks so good in the KCD2 trailer. There are a lot of small improvements that just look great.
I agree. I really love the small changes that they have made.
Might be the sword he made with his step father he looks like he might be picking it up and you can still use it as a two handed sword.
I believe the shot in the trailer of him picking up a longsword is THE SWORD from the first game. I think Henry "Stealing" that sword early in the game might be how we end up in a prison cell.

I don't have the cheat mod installed anymore unfortunately. I am also having trouble finding the Short Noble Chainmail. I know it exists, but i haven't seen it in my current playthrough. Thinking it might be something worn by soldiers at the Merhojed Military Camp.

I have been thinking about one that might be pretty fun, but also fairly challenging.
What I would like to see is an armor guide where you get the visibility, conspicuousness, and noise to the lowest numbers that you can get but still be protected, not just the guide where you had zero visibility and 0 noise because he was wearing the monks habit with silent shoes
Not a bad idea, it'll take a lot of messing around, but i'll give it a crack.
I’d use the grey scarf to make it look a bit like the chain mail over the armour.

You should try to recreate the other armor he wears with that brown decorated hood, I did my best to recreate it but it didn’t look great imo, would love to see how you’d do it

Great to see a KCD2 armor in KCD1! Maybe we should get the Short Noble Hauberk, which wouldn't (I suppose) cover the green doublet underneath.
I bet that in the firts arc of the game we are facing Sir Istvan Toth and recovering Sir Radzigs sword and later in the second part we were fighting against Markvart von Aulitz
hey again this is the second time im asking i figured that it wasn't seen because i made the comment 8 hours after the videos was released so im just posting it again theirs a build id like you to make a video of i call it the common traveling knight build the weapons are Merchant's sword Capon's hunting bow hunting arrow's torch and a dagger ,Armor is Bianca's ring chainmail common bascinet common plate chausses the one with the boots you can get them at sasau composite gauntlets cuirass light tarred jacket mail collar necklace old plate pauldrons padded chausses padded coif patched hose and plain riding spurs again thank you for making kingdom come deliverance videos for everthing from armor to weapons to how to guids and i hope i can watch you play kingdome come deliverance 2 when it comes out.

I also started playing after long time then i realized i only played KCD in my old laptop with not ultra settings nor HD textures. Bumped it up to 2k ultra and realized i was missing a lot, scenery looks so beautiful everywhere. I spend most of time showing off to peasants or watching scenery, no wonder real knights were so arrogant..
Lol, yeah the game is absolutely incredible with the graphics maxed. I've also seen some video with retexture mods that looked pretty awesome.

There sending it to Sony and Microsoft soon to see if it's ready for the consoles and voice actor's or at least Luke Dale Sir Capon voice actor says he is done with recording
Tom McKay is also done with recording. And I think certified is currently underway if the transition from another youtuber is correct
