Because i decided when doing this video to use the best unclaimed helmet for sets that needed one, and since the Warhorse Helmet and the ZOul Helmet were already taken, that makes the Arching Bascinet the best helmet in the game, so to keep the stats comparable across the board, i chose to use the arching bascinet for any suit that needed a helmet.
I went with Long Noble Hauberk instead of Short Noble Hauberk. The stats are the same but a history buff I like claimed body armor should be long enough to cover the crotch. I also chose Dyed Bavarian gambeson over Decorated arming doublet. The gambeson has zero Noise while the doublet has 40 Noise. The other stats are close enough.
I just started the game 3 days ago and got the best start by butchering all the town guards, stealing their bows and using the AI cheesing cart method where they get close and headshotted all the combatants. In that start, I got mail Chauses, the nobleman mail coif, Bavarian decorated hauberk and got the decorated arming doublet off the Bailiff of Skalitz. I also stored all that other shit in the chest at Henry's house and got it back on the burying your parents mission to sell. I was getting called a knight based on my armor in the first town. LOL
@@bruhdealer5208 Its all a matter of opinion. Tbh, you already end up with that kind of equipment or the money to buy it by the 3rd or 4th major story mission anyway
maybe the game model is, but Brigandines are not "full" plate armor. instead of 2 solid plates (to allow for bending at the waist, a single piece is just a chestplate and doesn't cover the abdomen) it is made up of dozens of smaller plates. similar to lamelar or scale, except they are riveted (rather than woven) on the inside of the fabric/leather rather than the outside.
Warhorse armor is found by the dlc quest "treasures of the past", its split up between 5 hidden chests, you'll need to be able to pick very hard locks and need a spade in order to get all the pieces, lords of liapa armor is earned piece by piece in the tourney, and the house of zoul armor is taken from Hagen zoul after killing him at the end of the "band of bastards" dlc, the rest can be found on soldiers, bandits, and bought from armorers in towns

What do you get for matching sets? I go with wathever offers the highest stats.
Here I am disregard protection for fashion
Will they add gothic armor as shown on loading screens?
I think we are done with official content from Warhorse for this game, but i think we will get some mods that will offer all sorts of new stuff.
About as likely as an M48 patton appearing in a ww1 game I'd say
My favourite helmet is the Houndskull
Hi, how do u have 100 in Ur melee stats?? I have the Saint George's sword, which has slash and stab stats of 72, but I have them improved to 85 in my melee stats. So can I get them higher? I have 20 strength, agility of 14 and 15 for vitality.
The Hungarian Hauberk looks great under the Warhorse cuirass because it's one of the only types of breastplate which doesn't cover up the unique decorative sash.
Is that Kermit the frog?
maybe.
I think its David Wilcock
I actually hated this game in the begining but with time i've got gud and with understanding the combat mechanic i finally saw the fun this game has to offer. It has really the best Armor system i have ever seen in any game and i hope a second part of this game comes out.
Damn. Jordan Peterson playing KCD.
it will be cool if henry if you use a helmet that cover your face, when you dont have a weapon in hand the face plate is open, the funny part is that when you draw your weapon you have an effect that henry low the mask part if the helmet have it but is only an visual effect if you talk whit somebody he have the mask part low all the time is like the game developer forgot to add the physical effect but left the visual effect, is strange that he never lift the mask and weir that he talk like this
Why not go for the Italian helmet for the Milanese set?
Because i decided when doing this video to use the best unclaimed helmet for sets that needed one, and since the Warhorse Helmet and the ZOul Helmet were already taken, that makes the Arching Bascinet the best helmet in the game, so to keep the stats comparable across the board, i chose to use the arching bascinet for any suit that needed a helmet.
@@Dare_To_Game Reasonable. I am just more of a style before functionality guy haha
Legit thought you were doing a Kermit the frog impression. I want your voice
Nope, all natural.
Hey I wanted to ask
What is the armor at the right corner on the thumbnail?
What about Milan brigandine? It sould be top 2
Which armour is on the very right of the thubnail since i cant see them very well on video
Wdym you can change your clothes?
Btw, doesn't the warhorse armor come with a gambason on too?
yes it do, i just kept the base layer the same for all the suits in this video so all the stats would be more accurately comparable.
is it worth putting the doublet over the armor?
i wish we could pick some pieces from divish or hanush
How do you calculate AAR and also thanks for the vid
I replace the Zoul chest-piece with the Nuremberg one. Stats be damned, I'm not wearing a goddamn sundress into battle!
Thats the same reason i dont wear jupons on top of my armor.
LOL
Worst way to play the game ngl just ruins the whole story and immersion
@@bruhdealer5208 Its all a matter of opinion. Tbh, you already end up with that kind of equipment or the money to buy it by the 3rd or 4th major story mission anyway
@@shockwave6213 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ atleast do a play through with no glitches it's a lot more challenging
@@bruhdealer5208 Oh I have. I'm on my 57th playthrough
@@shockwave6213 hahahaha fair enough didn't notice you made that comment 3 years ago lmao
Just so you know the warhorse cuirass is brigandine armor as well
Whats that armor on the full left of thumbnail?
milanese i believe.
Are you able to wear a different waffenrock over the zoul cuirass?
Yes
You made me buy the DLC
Where can I get the Magdeburg armor?
So stupid that chainmail doenst protect your arms.
The milanese brigandine is platemail that just has been covered with a cloth or leather.
maybe the game model is, but Brigandines are not "full" plate armor. instead of 2 solid plates (to allow for bending at the waist, a single piece is just a chestplate and doesn't cover the abdomen) it is made up of dozens of smaller plates. similar to lamelar or scale, except they are riveted (rather than woven) on the inside of the fabric/leather rather than the outside.
@@MFenix206 yes but the game model is based upon an embroider covered plate cuirass.
in the warhorse set, why not set why not use long noble hauberk instead so it covers the gambeson
Must you have the house of zol dlc to get armor
But WHERE do you find this gear??
Warhorse armor is found by the dlc quest "treasures of the past", its split up between 5 hidden chests, you'll need to be able to pick very hard locks and need a spade in order to get all the pieces, lords of liapa armor is earned piece by piece in the tourney, and the house of zoul armor is taken from Hagen zoul after killing him at the end of the "band of bastards" dlc, the rest can be found on soldiers, bandits, and bought from armorers in towns
Where did you get that milanese brigandie is not plate armor? Ofcourse it is a palte armor what else would it be?
Game thinks all brigandines are light armor...
What is that armor on the farthest left?
I love chiken milanesas
Just wish there were jousting heavy armor. Especially for horseback. And or swordbreaker pauldrons and ir Scandanavian Greatswords.
I agree, i wish the knightly combat in tournaments would have been more well fleshed out.
@@Dare_To_Game i feel like a jousting heavily armed tank of a knight, everytime bandits or cumans try to team up on me. And my Henry is on horseback with his St. George George longsword. I ride far, and charge at them thrusting them one by one. Sure kill every 1 or 2 hits. You know, like in Skalitz, after you become bailiff. Or on the road, ambushes. Sometimes 6 to 7 bandits or cumans at a time? Yeah, I love killing them on my horse.
The one thing I didn't like on Zoul Armor is that the devs didn't put any shadow effect on the helmet. So while wearing it and looking at your shadow you look like a bald guy.
I wear only hooded monks habit, hunting gloves and silent shoes. With lvl 17 long sword skill u dont need armor if its not a 1v3
Absolutely, Landsknecht all the way.
Yeah but like, I use full Lords of Leipa armour and the bouche shield with a Ravens beak. I can do 1v5 or sometimes 1v6 like that...
I've done 1v14s in Leipa armor, armor all the way
I play on PC (steam) how do you rotate henry on the Menu? Also i dont have the skip time option
the K and L keys
@@Dare_To_Game thank you !
Stupid question... How to rotate Henry model in inventory view? :D
on PC its the "K" and "L" buttons.
@@Dare_To_Game Thank You :)
