Scott and Logan could have both had their own Jean and became the best of buds.
World peace.
LOL I thought the same thing 😅
Lmaoo facts
swinger party
The ultimate Eskimo brothers.
Episode 3 was insane. Love that they did Chris Claremont Infero storyline, hopefully the show continues to go strong.
U got to read the comics, they get weird, don’t get me started on wolverine 😂😂
@@Hadenjaden100 woah, I can't wait!
Now let’s see if they do “fall of the mutants” or the “brood” on even onslaught
@@attaist if they do the brood, that would be insane. It low key a horror storyline
@@stsolomon618 yea, they definitely can do a great job with it seeing what they are doing with inferno.
Seeing wolverine a brood would be epic…..
Loved when Bishop got all juiced up and blasted the illusions
His exorcist line was gov cheese. Lol
It’s nice to see them really showcasing his ability. Not many ask to take a blast from cyclops.
Just seen it too. The animation is crazy, the scene with Magneto using the stained-glass window frames as shields against the glass was dope.
They crammed like 5 story arcs in 3 episodes….the pacing is the speed of light
Good cuz I already know what’s going to happen don’t need all the expo
Saturday morning cartoon style. They here to sell toy
Yup, was very annoying and felt rushed
@@SWOTHDRAoh shut up. God nothing pleases you negative nancies
I wonder how many people got that Yul Brynner’s reference.
Cable was created by Sinister as a weapon against apocalypse.
True. However in the comics it was Apocalypse who infected Cable with the Tecno organic virus.
@@2apocalypsex exactly
X-Man is basically what Cable was supposed to be without the virus
@@sb7930yup, bring on Nate Grey aka X-man and bring on Stryfe
Excellent episode, except that FAIL scene with Morph. Show is on point so far.
TERRANCE OUT
Preach brother
This episode is a condensed & slightly edited version of the Inferno storyline which ran primarily in the X Books but also spilled over to the greater Marvel Universe in 1989. The version we saw on X-Men 97 took place between X-Men 239-243. Surprisingly they managed to capture the over all theme & feel of the conflict between Madelyne Pryor, Marvel Girl & Cyclops with Madelyne being revealed as a Mr. Sinister clone. The Nate sub plot with the techo virus was also handled well. It's funny that they don't know they've already met Nathan as Cable during the Genosha story from the original series. This will be interesting when they eventually bring him back for the inevitable 2nd meeting. Overall really good episode
Would love to see a episode based on the further advs of Cyclops and Phoenix where they go to the Future and actually raise their son as Red and Slim i think that what names they used
So in the OG series Jean was probably switch after the phoenix saga, cause she went away for a while, then she came back as dark phoenix until she finally got separated from the phoenix, but it’s a little hard to actually know the exact moment cause Sinister was constantly trying to get Scott’s and Jeans DNA for various seasons, there was a two episode arc were they actually team up with Sinister to stop a global threat.
Unfortunately I'm unable to watch X-Men 97 right now because I still haven't completed the original X-Men animated series. Right now I'm on season 5 and I'm watching 2 episodes a day so I won't be done with that series until Sunday. The earliest that I'll be able to watch X-Men 97 is on Monday because I have to complete the original X-Men animated series before I can watch X-Men 97.
Keep grinding
Morph and Wolverine 😂😂😂
No it can’t be
They just had to try
Luckily it seemed to be a one sided thing as we all know who Wolverine has his out for
It was so unnecessary.
I don’t like it, and I think it’s going to get worse.
Wolverine and Morph acting gay as hell.. Fake jean knew it all along and telepathically called Morph out on his gayness...."always with the jokes huh, Morph?.. as if I don't know"
Logan probably makes him turn into Jean
@renatoarauz7784 💀💀💀🤡🤡🤡🥴🥴🥴🏳️🌈🥴🥴🥴🥴
Come on bro they just homiesexual
@@renatoarauz7784😂
My only issue is how fast they went through this storyline.
I rewinded the Bishop/Cyclops team-up part and the Goblin Queen blocking Magneto’s metal shards part 🔥 and S/O to Morph for the Spiral and Magick “cameos”
I think it was a great episode, my only complaint was cyclops was like I will never abandon my kid, then 2 seconds later walks out on his kid ha
Lmfao I was like “now your just like your father”
@@mgm7321 Corsair: “he had his mother’s eyes.” Pryor: “he has his father’s eyes.”
He didnt wanna see his baby suffer i think
Not really, he said he can’t be a part of it he can’t choose to let him go. He knows it must be done to save his kid but cant bring himself to do it. It’s not an act out of malice
I just noticed Gambit is the only one that doesn't wear yellow.
That's been the case since his creation. There are some drawings where he is wearing the yellow suit, but for the most part it is always his trenchcoat and purplish wear.
Same with my boy Nightcrawler. He just hasn’t showed up yet.
I think the episode was great. Cosmic Horror.
Fun Fact: DId anyone know that Jake Castorena is directing this show? Apparently he's the same guy who directed Batman Vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Also Nasser Pasha is one of the animators on this show, the same dude who made *Legend: A Dragon Ball tale* fan film
This animated adaptation of the Inferno story did it justice. My only critique is that they could've stretched this story out into two episodes instead of one to express how this random unfortunate situation is affecting Cyclops, Jean Grey, Madeline Pryor, and Nathan Summers (Cable).
The art in episode 3 was amazing.
Morph is gay for Wolverine in episode 3 😂😂😂
🤣😂😂😂😂
Yes, that was weird.
So you didn't notice Morph role playing with Wolverine as Sabretooth with those beers at the end of Episode 2?😂
It was a joke my guy
@@DarksideGmss0513haha if it’s under Disney then it ain’t a joke.😂
No, the comic is different. Jean was dead and Scott fell for a woman who "looked" just like her. 😝Inferno was a company-wide Marvel cross-over. Was funny seeing it bottled down to a single episode.
Comics were a convoluted mess, they tightened it up for quality sake.
Disney stuck their toe in the pool or "shower." That was a little weird and unnecessary.
Yup
Seeing the doll transform into professor X was creepy af. Haven’t seen hallucinations that trippy since beavis and butthead in the dessert 😂 but overall that whole sequence was bad ass
This show has completely one me over now. Marvel has actually made a REAL show!!! OUTSTANDING!!!
Omega level threat detected!!!!
Morph bro 😂😂😂
3:02 The influence for professor X's character design was from Yul Brenner, Jack kirby even addressed it.
That baby grows up to be cable right?
Yes.
Yup, nathan grey
It's too fast and they pull "names" out of nowhere. Hey, I'm Goblin Queen! Hey, I'm Madelyn Pryor! Come on, give the arc more time.
Magneto is become one of my favorite villains
I like how they played Cable's theme song when Bishop took him through the portal
Wow I missed that with the gay thing, they really went there
Nah when morph joked about rogue and magneto was wild 🤣
But, I thought since it’s apart of Disney you and others said it would be full of the message and be Uber woke?
It is a little. Like with everything surrounding Morph. It’s still good though and not overboard with the wokeness which is good. They just need to keep it this way and don’t double down on the lgbt agenda.
Yea Tyrone I know what you’re talking about. I noticed it as soon as that scene was happening. They tried to make it not too noticeable, but they can’t fool us. Other than that I really liked this episode
I got some real Mahito/JJK vibes when Madelyn let loose at the mansion. Overall another dope episode. I love the more mature vibes cus growing up OG X-men animated didn’t seem this dark
So far this series is excellent!!! Mr. Sinister trolling Jean via a baby monitor is GOLD!!!!!!!😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They did my boy Magneto dirty
This reboot has reminded me why the X-Men were the biggest thing in comics back in the day. They don’t even need wolverine, glad he’s there, but there is enough with the X-Men that the MCU could do so much.
I like how they kind of wrapped up some of the sinners stuff and he’ll probably come back later in the year. Wednesday morning is turned into my new Saturday morning from high school.
This is excellent story telling right here.
This is definitely my favorite episode and clone Jean 🍒 😂
I’m enjoying X-Men 97! Episode 3 was nuts! I definitely had “Inferno” vibes because that’s what this episode is based on from the 1989 Marvel saga. This season has been fun and nostalgic!🤓😊👊🏾🤍
Well done on the plot twist. 👏🏼
So did dead beat dad cyclops happened sounds like they changed it
Agreed, im glad they didn't drop the soap with wolverine
I’m guessing morph wants to get busy with Wolverine . It was good but damnit that scene took me out of it .
haha i loved it too kinda has an anime and comic vibe to it
Madelyne prior story could have been whole season!!! Way too short❤
Agreed they could have done a thew episodes with this story but I still enjoyed it
"Need help with those hard-to-reach areas?"💀
That baby is gonna grow up to be a Hyper Viper enthusiast!
I got that reference.
Cyclops blasted through Mister Sinister from Behind and Bishops over charging his power is absolute badass!!! Madylne Pryor is super sexy version of Jean Grey
Baby cable....😮😮😮
So during the dark Phoenix saga of the original X-Men the animated series Jean Grey technically died and that's when Mr Sinister made a clone of her. But Jean was brought back by the Phoenix force if i remember correctly. So since the time that she died in the Dark Phoenix saga that's actually been Madelyn Pryor.
This needed to be a two parter - they superrrrr sped this up. It didn't take me out of it but it's a bit jarring knowing the full story. That shower scene was outta pocket but aside from that it was fine...I'm cautious because if they're gonna keep sneaking in sh!t eventually I'll call it a day. If they just stick to the storytelling and good action scenes it will be fine.
Scott is the one that sends the ki to the future not the fake jen
I'm loving it to be honest
Morph #NODIDDY
She went straight horror mode on them at the mansion. Loved it. I'm not familiar with this particular storyline but it did end rather quickly. Obviously we'll be seeing Sinister again but this could've played out for an entire season with a good mystery building up behind it. Anyway, I gotta look up Forge. I recognize the name but don't recall who that is. Also, yeah, that shower scene 😂
I need to see Nightcrawler😭
He was probably in the next shower over lol
Yup!!! That big toe was DEEP in that puddle. They just had to. But I pray it's not much more...
It will become a lot more
Will the real Jean Grey please stand up?
I'm transported to 90s comics!! This series is doing so much justice xxx
this art style was pure eye candy with lightning.
Enjoyed it. Didn't know the story line from the comics, which made it more appealing. Some great moments sprinkled throughout. Sticking with this one throughout the run.
I love the 90s X-men it was and is still my favourite💪🇬🇧
I don't know much about the Goblin Queen or Madeline but I saw in another review that these were not illusions, that she can actually control Hell. Someone correct this if it's wrong, I have no idea. I suppose I could google it but I'm somewhat drunk and won't be able to comprehend it. But by the time someone replies to this I'll be good
I'm just glad they didn't drop the soap with wolverine
They low key tried to take a shot at wolverines sexuality, keep on and nomatter how good this is, society will cancel it too lol
Morph not Wolverine. Clearly Wolverine is straight and in Love with Jean.
@@sh0cktim3 have your seen the episode? Because if you did then you would know what I'm talking about as to why I said what I said
@@curbietoles359Think I know what you talking bout. It was a dream/fake vision created by the clone Jean. Morph has been acting funny in normal state around Wolverine. I've seen lil clues in the first two episodes even.
I thought the techno organic virus was from wolverine's healing factor?
She got switched out when Mr sinister kidnapped her and Scott in season 1 or 2. It's funny cause the majority of the old cartoon was the clone. The clone is the one who became the Phoenix.
Morph was hilarious with the Rogue and Magneto line lol
Morph and "hard to reach places" ☠️☠️☠️
Bro I’m still going to wait until all episodes are out before watching but I keep hearing great things. I’m, unfortunately, expecting this to take a bad turn at some point because the new Marvel suits like to get fans in then stab them in the face with BS.
The fact they fired the show runner now makes me think he did too good of a job and they axed him but I don’t know the full details.
This show is bringing marvel back to life
100%! The animation of the Magneto fight was amazing!
In the original Series, Sinister , Kitnepped Scott and Jean, i bet there he swaped her!
5 out 5
scratch your back??
I am the goblin Queen 👑!!
Problem with this episode is that Cable and Bishop are from different times. Bishop is like 60 years in future and Cable is like 3000. This isn't just the comics, it's apart of the Animated Series. So I wonder how they're going to write this in. In the comics, Madelyne Pryor show's up after Jean dies in the Dark Phoenix. So going to guess it happens here. BUT, that being said, when did Jean come back? It's a huge plot hole, so big the Juggernaut could run throw it!
Marvel definitely was bogus for that shower scene with morph😂
I get the feeling they are setting up something monumentally cringe with Morph and Logan...
Episodes need to be longer
I liked that sexy evil clone Jean Grey, Scott need to keep that 😂
the goblin queen !!!!! and the episode was great except for that morph n logan shower scene, they hinting at something let that b the last of that.
Just watched it, damn it's good
Peter Parker Clone Saga Remix
X chicken! Sheild!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why is it writers and actors that stick to source material always get fired?...hmmmm 🤔
Guess they didnt embrace THE MESSAGE enough 😂
The writer is from the 🏳️🌈 community. Ion give a damn about the source material. We have 5 seasons of the real xmen, stick to that. Wolverine aint even wolverine anymore
I still can't get over characters calling Morph a they in 1997.
They literally refer to morph as him/he in the show still!
This is one of the stories from writer Claremont and with Byrne as the artist as he was the x-men artist before Jim Lee.
this show is wonderful ( except Morph). It's everything it needs to be, as condensed as it is. But as a Cable fan I'm happy.
Yeaaaaaaaaaa da morphine and Wolverine shit is wacc like why cuzz why
I feel like this episode was rushed and concluded too many mysteries at once. Imo they should have either focused on other characters or cut down the ep length and ended it with Mister Sinister possessing Jean
You see disney! Use the source material as your guide and you will be ok! Its not that difficult!
The episode had an extremely rushed pacing. This storyline is something that should have been explored for at least 2 or 3 episodes. And this should have been a season finale kind of deal.
Dope episode, this was rad. We’re definitely gonna see Cable.
It was fun although the show has it's flaws.
With storm losing her powers, magneto, the clone and sinister. It could have been and entire 10 to 20 episode season.
For some twisted reason, writers insist on giving superheros human problems instead of diving into what really make superheros interesting - sci-fi action adventure stories
Anyways
More fun than the live action shows by far
yes sir, they just had to throw that jab in 😠
What was the jab?
Morph having the hard on for wolverine
Show is fire
