Kenya among 5 Countries to receive Funds from COMESA to strengthen the horticulture value chain

Kenya is among five Countries in Eastern Africa that are set to receive a 1.5 billion shillings funding from the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa to strengthen the horticulture value chain. COMESA CEO John Mukuka says the funding will target Avocado, Onion and Irish potato in its pilot phase, in a programme that plans to increase EAC horticulture exports.
