12,500 cashew nut farmers in Kilifi to receive 1 million seeds

Small scale cashew nut farmers from Kilifi county are set to expand their production as distribution of one million cashew nut and moringa seeds begins. The initiative by the county government in collaboration with Electronic Frontier Foundation aims to boost farmers’ earnings as government seeks to reduce overreliance of imports from neighbouring Tanzania.
