- Superman The Ride (formerly known as Bizarro and Superman - Ride of Steel) is a steel roller coaster at Six Flags New England in Agawam, Massachusetts. Built by Swiss manufacturer Intamin, the hypercoaster opened to the public as Superman - Ride of Steel in 2000. It features a 208-foot (63 m) lift hill, a 221-foot (67 m) drop, and a maximum speed of 77 mph (124 km/h).

I rode it in 2002, then, 20 years later, finally did it again to see if I could still handle big bad roller coasters.

Why can't rollercoasters in Massachusetts like other roller coaster the 250-plus or 300 ft ?? Like cedar point
It would probably be hard to maintain due to the climate of Massachusetts and because there is no major theme park other than six flags and if six flags New England is looking for a new coaster it would also be hard due to limited room in the park plus Superman the ride is a hard ride to maintain especially during the rain since the coaster is situated next to the Connecticut river making it make it vulnerable to floods

Id say since the coaster just is mostly speed, after the first drop you'll be fine

I would say the scariest part is the lift hill , though once you ride it once or twice it gets easier. I just wish I didn’t develop back problems or high blood pressure, would love to ride it again
I love the music but I would never in a million fucking years go on this ride. This ride is for crazy people! ☠️
It’s fun to watch POV of roller coaster rides but it’s a totally different story to actually ride it. 😖
