That rear silver sidepanel works as a blinker in the non-US spec and it has a nice flowing blinking light in it. So the silvery color of it is from the intended original spec everywhere else around the world.
Another great video. I did not think this channel would suit me, but I am finding it fascinating. Still a lot of what you pick up, I probably would never notice. You are a detailer and you should pick up those things. Keep the videos coming.
I own a GT over here in the UK. I'm very pleased with it... getting around 280 miles per full charge, so EPA figures baffle me... re sunroof and power, WE do not get a sunroof at all... so either we take performance more seriously OR they have heard about our weather lol. The seat is super comfortable on long trips, but I would love to have an adjustable headrest, which I initially found to be too far back, but maybe my neck muscles have got stronger because I don't notice it now..
Really enjoy these build quality videos since you experience so many different cars. Also greatly appreciate the emphasis you put on the fact that they are just your thoughts and preferences. I'd be interested to see reviews of a Mazda and Volvo product. Thanks!
The bucket seats are appropriate for the vehicle, and technically it's a wagon, both in form and in actual classification by various traffic regulation agencies.
Impressive. I'd really like to see more EVs covered. They're crazy expensive, and seeing where the money goes / how long their materials will last is super important given the investment.
Coleton, I just watched a 40 minute car build-quality video. And you make it interesting!! If I were buying an EV6 I think I'd stick to the regular GT Line S AWD model, up to 320BHP is surely enough anyway. Your points about the high impact areas will prove to be correct imo and those seats won't suit most daily drivers. Great video. Great EV.
This car fascinates me, it's just quirky. It doesn't wow me, but it does interest me. It feels too compromised in every area but nonetheless still very interesting. If it weren't 60k+ I can see this being popular with the younger 20 somethings.
This is a press car, meaning Kia this is a press car, meaning Kia marketing went through it with a fine toothcomb, especially if they know a detailer is going over it. I like to see a production version. I went through my 2020 Model Y (middle of delivery rush) with a fine toothcomb during my pick and found gaps. After, that day. I don't notice the gaps. As this Kia, you also will not notice the gaps. Gaps are not about nothing. Marketing went through it with a fine tooth comb, especially if they know a detailer is going over it.
One of the most annoyingly goofy looking cost-cutting measures is how they elected to have bidirectional wheels. The spokes point forwards on the passenger side and awards on the driver side.
This thing will age so incredibly poorly. Looks are subjective, sure, but this thing is super ugly and will age like milk. Resale on this will be abysmal.
@@bigdi77 yeah that’s not long enough for a design to age poorly. This thing looks very weird with the snap of that back end. And the interior will wear horribly. Be sure to sell this before it becomes a weird footnote of history for KIA. It’s also a $65k KIA which is hard to swallow regardless of how nice it is. KIA should have brought this into their luxury brand 100%

I've owned both, and prefer Mazda for build quality, but Volvo has better paint.

Press and hold the toggle switch on audio/HVAC panel, and you can set which screen it should automatically revert to.

Great video. Great EV.
The main thing for the GT for me was the suspension and the other perks. The power was a happy bonus.
EV6 is probably one of the best pound for pound EV's out there, Kia did a great job on this vehicle
i love my AWD Wind.

I'm 45 and bought one. It gets well above its advertised range, especially around town. Chopped in a large v8 performance car for it.
This is a beautiful car
love your videos, your video round out all reviews and is mandatory. I'd love to see an ioniq5 too. Do you know if you have one planned?
The seats are very comfortable
When you will have VW ID.5 for review?
Great video, congrats!!! Please, please do Ioniq 5 ! :)
I bought the EV6 AWD exclusive in Europe, and the materials used on the interior is different, quite a bit better! 🤔
My GT Line EV6 paint chips ridiculously easily. I have owned it for 1 year and have had about 10 rock chips down to metal. Seems bad for a $55k+ car.
I took a rock to the windshield and got the smallest little nick... and then I looked at the hood and saw where the rock hit first. :(

Pretty sure it doesn’t have 5 or 6mm of paint thickness! 😅 did you mean 0.6mm?
Mils do not equal Millimeters. Different measurement
Soooo good
Many Ev’s are overpriced and I hope this price war helps bring them to 40K at most
Nice video! But Kia, it’s a hatchback not a suv.
Or is it wagon? Or is it crossover? Who cares what car type its called lol

What? Tires do the same thing like bfg km3s a top tier tire. You want them to be side specific lmao.
That should not be considered a SUV....lost me 10 seconds in
