Thank you so much for this info. I go to training for the same (F9) June 17th. I'm so excited! I do know that there are some differences now, like there's 3 meals a day M-F and only 2 on Saturday. I think you can wear gray, I saw a recent FA who just finished training last month, and she had on a grey checkered professional cut dress. So that might be a new change, might, lol. I don't recall if she got in trouble for it but she mentioned how she did get flagged for a skirt she wore that had zippers as decorations down the entire front on two sides of the skirt. Also thanks for that tip about aim to pass every test, DON'T COUNT ON THAT RETAKE. I really like that tip. Thanks
Hi there James! You have helped sooo many people! I was a Flight Attendant for a major airline years ago. I would have LOVED to have the information you are providing for F/A training! It was a LOT of information to take in and study, study, study lol! 😵💫🤯 I took a lot of notes which helped me remember when writing things down! Congratulations on graduating and your IOE!!👍👍👍
You just made me feel SOOOO much better about taking the tests. I have been stressing about that part of training but knowing that they're supportive and set you up to succeed is amazing! Congrats on passing training. I think we were at the F2F together!!
Thanks for posting! Receiving that CJO, and being invited to training can be a little over welming. I have been looking for all the info I could get. I even reached out to a few people on social media (one new hire responded) with some great insights. However, your video was perfect! Thank you for taking some time to do this. I am heading to training in three weeks, and I feel better prepared from watching your video. Thanks!
Omg James! Thanks soooo much for this video, I received my CJO and have been dying to know what to expect. I feel so relieved now, I was so worried about the testing.
I love the way you talk and I just got Hired as A Flight Attendant with Breeze Airways! Have you heard of them. Its a new airline created by the same CEO that created JetBlue
I just did my video interview and hope i finally become Flight Attendant. It's been my dream job since I was 10 years old and now I am old enough and height for it. I think I got it hopefully. Also I live in Denver. So if I got the next step. I could probably get there sooner than Monday
This is SO helpful. I start training next month. I’m already studying the flight terms, city abbreviations. Is there anything else I should study for? Thank you!
Hey Jamie, thank you so much for sharing all this info. I am going to training in about 2 weeks and I am kind of nervous with the tests. I did not got the training pack yet but already started studying for airport codes, and abbreviation and terminologies, I did not study for airlines codes yet, do you think its a good idea ?? What do you recommend me to study besides it and what are the hardest and most difficult test you think I should be prepare for ?? Once again thank you so very much, really appreciate your help and tips
I have an interview with horizon in Seattle! Hopefully it goes well! I have a couple where I worked as a ground operations agent at my airport so hopefully that helps my chances!
This helps alot! Thanks, I'm doing my video interview this week, and I was wondering if dread hair is allowed, as longs I keep it clean and and put it in the ponytail. Or do I need to cut it? Also, it's not really long:)
Frontier's policy with hair has changed. I believe and don't quote me on this, but I think It can be down if above the shoulders and otherwise has to be up and for service. So I would say put It up for your interview. Go with a very sleek and polished look. But let It show off your personality.
This helped so much! I go to training at the end of the month, thank you so much! I have one question is there water training (or pool-based training)?
yes there is. A Very small one though. 2 people will max It out. It is a hotel room that they took the beds out and put gym equipment in there. HAVE FUN AT TRAINING!
You know there is an actual flight attendant show that was made in 2005 for frontier airlines... you should watch on youtube to see how training was like back then
Hi congratulations! I’m pretty good at the 24hr clock, however doing the study guide I’ve realized I’m stumped on the instructions, think you can help? The directions are “Express the following IN TERMS of the 12 and 24hr clock”. Are they asking us write the time in actual clock time or in words?? For example: 0027 is the same as......TWELVE TWENTY-SEVEN IN THE MORNING or should we put 12:27a.m.?
This video is awesome! Thank you!! When you were talking about seniority for choosing bases, is it that if your last 4 is a higher number, you have higher seniority? Or if your number is lower, you have higher seniority? Also do they have laundry facilities in the hotel?
Hello! If the last 4 of you SSN start with 9999 you will be the top of the seniority in your class for getting your base pick first. 0001 will be the last. You will put all of the bases in order of preference from 1 to 5 and based on what is available you will be awarded that base. There is laundry facilities onsite but they weren’t the best. There is a laundry mat not to far from the hotel, have a classmate drive or easy Uber. That’s what we did. And while it’s washing you can study.
Thanks for this great video! My questions are: 1- The graduation day, do you wear same clothes as in training? 2- How many instructors you will have? 3- The raft drill is in a pool or is it dry?
Hello, You will you wear your uniform on graduation. There’s a lot of instructors and they are all amazing. You will be getting in a raft with your life vest inflated and on.
Hello! Thank you! We do fly internationally to Mexico and a few destinations in the Caribbean. Our benefits with our airline are really good and offer good medical and travel perks. We do have partnerships with US and some European carriers which offer us a lot of options to travel.
Congrats on getting a training date! The instructors want you to succeed and will give you every resource out there. You just have to be willing to put in the work and do everything that they say to do even if you don’t think you need to. Practice makes perfect and It will make your life a lot easier.
I am doing my first interview this Friday. Can I drive to Wyoming. I live in New York and would rather have my car there. I can’t live without my Subaru for 3 weeks since my parents won’t let me use Uber cause of safety reasons. Plus after training how do you know where you are based at?
It is easier but still very hard. They have a lot of the same policies it’s jsut a little more relaxed now than before but It is still extremely strict. Tests are the same way attendance is the same. There aren’t any observation flights so that’s what’s different. You’re in a hotel and not a house.

Can you make another video like this about your new airline?
Got my last interview with inflight management on Monday . Training is May 31
I'm in your class! Look forward to meeting you 🙂
@@KweenTP Me too, see you both on Monday.

I have seen It. It’s such a good show.
James Guzek have you flown with one of a flight attendants that still work in frontier ?
Hi congratulations! I’m pretty good at the 24hr clock, however doing the study guide I’ve realized I’m stumped on the instructions, think you can help? You are converting time. So 1300 would be 1 pm.
0027 is zero zero twenty seven
That’s 12:27 am
James Guzek Right but it says converted into terms so are we writing it out in words are putting the actual time as in the numbers?
Lynn Carman you have the study guide so you see what I’m saying right?
Thank you so much for this video!

How did you study for the verbal parts?
record yourself & listen to it everyday like you listen to your music.
We aren’t allowed in each others rooms? I wonder y

@@JettingJamie206 Thank you James, but the raft will be INSIDE the pool or OUTSIDE?
I can’t disclose that information. It will be a surprise!
Is anyone here in the class starting May 23rd
Congrats on your graduation!
How are the flight benefits with F9? Do you have Internationa flights and partnerships with other airlines?
Hello!
Thank you! We do fly internationally to Mexico and a few destinations in the Caribbean. Our benefits with our airline are really good and offer good medical and travel perks. We do have partnerships with US and some European carriers which offer us a lot of options to travel.
How long was the process
From application to start date for training? And did you get to pick your base or was it up to bid
2 months tops. Some ppl it’s quicker. We got to pick our base. Some classes prior did not. You never know.
Do you have any advice on what we should study pre-training?
I believe city abbreviations and some other things, you will get a study packet in the mail 2 weeks prior to attend training
If you get a base not near your home, do they provide lodging or you have to find a home?
They provide lodging during training. Otherwise you are on your own for lodging.
I start training Dec 30, does it seem like the instructors won’t allow you to fail?

James are you still flying? How long does it take for the drug and background check to come back?
What kind of drug and alcohol test did they administer to you? Was it Frontier or a 2nd party medical office nearby to you?

Are we tested daily or weekly? Are we allowed to eat in class?
You can eat in class. You have tests almost daily.
James Guzek thank you.

Does anyone know if Frontier swimming requirements or tests?
There are not.
Is training paid ?
Does frontier pay for training or is it unpaid
I think it’s unpaid .
how sassy
Do they pay for training ??
Fuck no !! You are by your own ! They will provide 3 meals a day and a hotel
