Excellent video! Very scientific approach with good examples! Way to many "reviews" out there with people just unboxing it and showing the features, yet all videos show ridiculous amounts of jitter! Cheers!

Great demonstration. Thanks. I am trying make a purchasing decision and I have been watching a lot of video slider demos/reviews and I see jitter in all of them, regardless of the price. I had a feeling that it might be the RUclips conversion process and I am glad that you mentioned this.

Excellent review, exactly what I was looking for regarding this slider. I also have a Rottweiler, he looks a lot like yours lol

Thanks for your effort. If possible, I wish you could do tests without ibis on, as a lot of cameras do not have it.

baubergô I did do a few more runs than I showed in this video but due to wanting to keep the video length reasonable, I only showed a few runs with IBIS off. The results table at 13:14 mark of the video shows a common result of some jitter being observable without IBIS which leads me to use this slider only with IBIS on. If your camera does not have IBIS, this slider is not the most ideal choice. I agree that more shots without IBIS on would allow the viewer to see more for themselves.

Trevor Bagnell i need your help. I have a camera without IBIS and only get unusable footage. I contacted ifootage and they are reluctant to help. They want to sell me a new mini carriage. Saying that the one I have is an old model and that the new one is redesigned. I see your video is 1 year old which means if you bought it a year ago you also should have the “redesigned “ mini carriage. Can you confirm?

thank you for this in depth analysis! it's difficult to find any unbiased review for this one. nothing but love and hate reviews from buyers. I look forward to the next tests. i would be interested to see stress tests with heavy payloads in time lapse mode with and without the pan head. I have a sigma 14mm f1.8 and a a7riii that I have been wanting to do night time lapses with. im also wondering if the android app is running properly yet?

Is it possible to use L plate with Canon R5 and 15-35 Is 2.8 and still manage to use til 45 angle lift or when L plate is on it is not possible to tilt it at the angle?
I guess shake is not going to be a problem for R5 and 15-35 as both have IBS + IS, on top of that both together form around 1.5kg.

Hey very nice video I have a GH4 with a nocticron 42.5mm and a wide lens.
After two months or so would you recommend this motorized slider?

I'm not sure I would recommend it to anyone with a non-image stabilzed camera for anything other than time-lapses.
