Love this video very much!💚 What a wise, probably kind and nice man. He seems very genuine and has humour sense, too! I would love to live almost like that. "Almost", because I still like too much my comfort in a modern house. Like a hot (short) shower and a warm room in the chilly evenings. And also I'm so afraid of the dark. But I love the idea of living this simple way, and no more traffic around me, and to escape all the people that's huffing and puffing about. I long for birds chirping and the sound of the wind through trees. 🌲🌿💛
What a great bloke! I'd love to live that way. I've been on a few outdoor courses - making willow structures for the garden, wild cordage and green woodworking - that's when I realised I'd be happy with a shed in a wood. I think I've always known it to be honest. Now trying to find some affordable land to haul myself out of the system.
@@oldschoolhistory3246 our local Wildlife Trust runs them. But in the UK there are all sorts of groups that run them. There's amn association of green woodworkers and pole lathe turners who run their own and also go to grin fairs and other similar events
Absolutely brilliant!
A wonderful video - active and contemplative.

I'm feel the exact same, just want to get away from the madness, so hard to get a plot of land.

That would suit me down to the ground. He also seems like genuine, irreverent, lovely kind of man.
So sorry to hear the news of Father Willy Slavin's recent death. He was a great fighter for Justice and Peace in the world.
A modern Hermit in his Hermitage.
Is a car required to get to this estate (from Edinburgh) or is train/bike trip possible?
What's it all about?
I have no idea!
and distrust anyone who says otherwise!
Nice x
I don't blame him at all. The older I get and the more I see of people the less I want to be anywhere near them!
Wonderful.
I was thinking the same, that's a nice surprise!
living the dream
"I have a bed, a desk, a woodstove and a door. What else does anyone need?" Apparently, a chair and a window among other things.
