Honestly the best reloading channel. I live a few miles from Dillon so its a hop skip and a jump for replacement parts thankfully.
I just started reloading and picked the Dillon 550C as my teaching reloader. I'm recently retired and have been a gun collector & shooter for most of my adult life. But as you referenced in the video, I now have lots of time and needed a project/hobby/escape to keep me sane and out of trouble. I too have that phantom friend with a gorilla grip who seems to show up when I least expect him and abruptly leaves after breaking/spilling/messing up leaving me to clean up/repair or purchase a new one lol........ I really enjoy your videos and have learned some neat tricks etc. Those NO--GO gauges were an awesome find and recommendation! Thanks for all and I'm going to be viewing more of your content!

That Dillon setup is impressive! I would be lying if i said i never broke more than one decapping pin in a reloading session! Looking forward to the next video!
It's gotta be some sort of reloading rite of passage. You don't get your Webelos badge until you break at least three decapping pins.
Broke two last time during reloading 9 mm. Somebody here in Slovakia apparently still uses Berdan primed ammo, probably got a lot of old surplus police reserves when it was really cheap. Never again, I’ll rather put 9 mm cases on the baking pan, shake and all cases will be mouth up ready for inspection. Never happened that to me with .223 as such cases are always steel one with a zinc layer and during wet tumbling with a little bit of citric acid always come up red, so only blind wouldn’t notice.

Yes Rex I tried cleaning my lube off with the soap and stainless pins and my pins came out all black. So now I put my lubed cases in some paint thinner and slosh around and let him dry and that removes most of the Case Lube before I put them in the water bath. Love your videos.
Thanks, Robert. My cases come out dark if I don't use enough Dawn, but just fine if I do. I haven't noticed a problem with the pins. That's a good suggestion about the paint thinner, although I sure would love to avoid any extra steps. Even so, that wouldn't be so bad.
Hey Rex, when tumbling to remove pins, I find a water bath removes the tendency for pins to stick to the inside of the case. Not to mention rinses brass at the same time.
