Great choice of Hull Salty. We had a 559 nice stable platform particularly when using as a dive platform. Handles heavy sea's with ease, enjoy, look forward to your new adventures, cheers.
Hey salty. Try some tennis racquet grip on your casting post. Nice for a passenger to hang onto while travelling and stops your bum sliding around while pulling the anchor. Also if you put rods in the holders either side of the casting post it’s possible to use a velcro wrap to fasten the rod to the post. Just to keep everything nice and secure while travelling. Love the small boat adventures yeeewww!
Nice boat mate, just be careful of those river mouth bar crossings hey. My brother flipped his 14ft side console at walpole/nornalup inlet river mouth 6 month ago. Lost everything on that awful experience 😖😖😖
@@DeLFeTube @DeLFeTube Crossed the bar in the middle of an Outgoing tide, on top that the chosen timing to cross was wrong as he picked when a couple a big sets were coming through. The first wave sent the bow right up and came back down vertically ,stern going straight in and flooding instantly. The marine rescue said that day's weather was not particularly good and specially for the kind of boat he was in. So wrong day wrong timing wrong boat
I’d look at securing it a bit better. Nothing up the bow to hold it down, just a shitty strap on the stern. It’s gunna bounce all over the place, damage the hull. That’s my thoughts on what other wise looks like a cracker of a boat. 👍🏼
Sick boat Salty ! Was it an easy process getting the standard trailer swapped for the G fab through stabi ? Or did you have organise that your self after purchase ?
Unfortunately the 1550 wasn’t released yet when I ordered mine. Whilst waiting for mine to be built the release happened and I was told that if I wanted the 1550 that I would have to order again and be at the back of the queue resulting in another 12 month wait 🤦🏽♂️
@@SaltyDavenport Hmm seems like I’ve struck a chord here, it’s it because your driving Australia’s most over priced, over rated and under powered car 😂 Ohhh not to mention every other yuppie is driving one now around the cities too. Thats because 76, 78, 79 series are just a popular hand bag these days and they are useless off road. Everyone who actually drives them off road realised this about 3 years ago ahahaha
the Dream setup bro, Thats for sure! love the aftermarket green wrap you had done to it also mate, that's Gangsta 🤙
Great set up mate. Super keen to see the vids from this trip.

Great to see you back, look forward to the vids in the pipeline. I’m sure you’ll have a magic trip, well done 👍
Loving the RUclips content! I'm a fellow sand grouper and I was wondering if your 1450 is a custom paint colour or wrap? Save travels :)
Going show some of the surfing dude?
It didn’t align on this trip unfortunately mate.
Did you paint the boat yourself? If so, how hard was it?
Would love any info you have on that subject
The guy from nz has the same rig. I forget his name but its easy to find. Hes done some nice modifications on his

I organised the trailer separately and just told them my plan once I’d ordered.
Hey mate looking at getting a 1450 myself what are they priced at mate cheers heaps in advanced
It sure legend as I bought mine a while ago. Best to contact Stabi
how'd you decide on the 1450 over the 1550?
